I Five

Five-19 is a style or form of poetry. It’s a continuous rhyme of nineteen lines, and five syllables per line.

I Five

A portal in time,

Immortal is fine,

I sort of can rhyme,

I’m drawing the line,

I take what is mine,

It’s lemon not lime,

It has the right shine,

I date night the dime,

I treat her to wine,

I good guy not slime,

I like glitter not grime,

I like oak over pine,

I’m tuning the chime,

I worship no shrine,

I committed no crime,

I cordially climb,

Three planets in trine,

The stars will align,

A portal in time.
