Moon Scope

May 16, 2026

Good evening and thank you for visiting Nooz Buffet. Tonight, at 9 o’clock, the new moon will shine through the 29th degree of Taurus and illuminate the astrological Sixth House.

A new lunar cycle is beginning, so keep in mind that situations, circumstances, and things in your life may coincide with the current lunar phase. For example, because the Sixth House is involved, you might all of a sudden notice something that requires a visit to the doctor. There could be things about yourself that you never even noticed before, but at the time of this new moon, you seem to be concentrating on them now.

On the 29th degree of Taurus, the Moon is very close to Gemini, and because a portion of Gemini is occupying the Sixth House with Taurus, issues related to mental health could be the focus, or perhaps the health of a sibling or distant relative.

The Sixth House is also the House of Service, and some of us might be called upon to nurse or help a family member who’s injured or not feeling well. We might even get a call to babysit nieces, nephews, cousins, or younger siblings.

Not only is there a strong possibility that some of these scenarios could play out, but they could be the hinge events on which the next two weeks turn

That said, please shift your focus now to the Ninth and Third Houses because that’s where the Moon’s Nodal Axis is aligned. The North Node is on the 5th degree of Pisces in the Third House, and Astraea is only two degrees away. For me personally, I use Astraea as a co-ruler of Virgo because according to the mythology, the Virgo Constellation was given to Astraea when she ascended to the stars.

The Third House governs how we learn and process information, especially at an early age. It rules the education we receive at the elementary level, and day to day communication on a small scale (one-on-one/friends). It governs our neighborhood and the transportation we use to get around.

The extended family is also covered by the Third House, and that brings me to my next point. With the Moon’s North Node in Pisces in the Third House, the Universe is clearly urging us to be caring and compassionate when it comes to members of the extended family.

If a family member reaches out to you within the next two weeks, it would be smart of you to listen. If you do get the call to babysit a cousin, a niece, or a nephew, you should do it. As a matter of fact, however and wherever your time and services are required, just do the favor.

Virgo, which naturally opposes Pisces, and obviously the Third House now since she’s stationed in the Ninth, can be over-critical, really busy, facts driven, and on the go, but the South Node there is telling us that’s exactly the type of attitude and behaviors we display when people we love come knocking or calling. In comparison to Pisces, we already know Virgo is grounded, patient, and practical, but at this time, we need to make a little room for the dreamers, the lovers, and those who really do have unique personalities that are hidden or misunderstood.

As we move up the chart in a counterclockwise direction from where the moon is located, we’ll pass Venus in the Seventh House, and then arrive at Jupiter in Cancer in the Eighth House.

Caner is a sign that’s extremely good at guarding or protecting secrets and things of a rather private nature, so in the Eighth House of Death, it might be a good idea to refrain from speaking about things that important to other people. For the next two weeks, if someone comes around asking about who owns a certain property, I would just be vague and play dumb. Also, anything to do with arrests or time spent in jail, or reasons for doctor or hospital visits (medical information), I would keep all that to yourself.

We might find ourselves in a place now where certain information is coming our way, and that could really be because you worked your way up and demonstrated that you’re someone who can be trusted. Either way, just because you have access to certain information, that doesn’t mean it’s okay to share it with the rest of the world.

When it comes to other people, just stay out of it.

I can see it now; someone asks you a question about someone else-maybe a friend, family member, co-worker, patient, or client, and you innocently reveal something they wanted to keep hidden or private.

During this lunar cycle, something like that can go one of two ways.

You can keep quiet and eventually reap what Jupiter has for you at the time of the full moon, or you can talk and find yourself in the middle of a huge problem, and I’m telling you, if you reveal something out of spite, jealousy, or to be manipulative or controlling, it’s going to backfire.

Moon Scope; Full Moon in Scorpio Illuminates First House

May 1, 2026

Good evening, and thank you for visiting Nooz Buffet!

Yes, today was Beltane, and yes, the moon will be full this evening. If you look at the chart below, you’ll see the Moon in the First House on the 14th degree of Scorpio, and so it’s the First House of Self that’s illuminated now.

When the First House is illuminated, things can become pretty personal, especially when Scorpio is involved. We know all about the dark side of the Scorpio Moon; vindictive, vengeful, jealous, manipulative, and deceptive.

If the dark side of the Scorpio Moon is manifesting through you, then perhaps there’s a lot you need to consider because with Libra in the Twelfth House, there will be consequences for our actions. What’s your freedom worth? What’s your life and health worth? How far are you really willing to go?

I will never judge you, and honestly, you might not be wrong for wanting revenge. Afterall, the scales of justice must be balanced, but there’s a time and place for everything.

The timing of the Universe (God’s timing) is absolutely perfect, and once you truly understand that and feel it with your heart, you’ll realize that you can never be out of place, or out of time. You really don’t need to force things, and you don’t need to rush. If you let the divine plan of the Universe unfold, then the scales will be balanced naturally. There’s no need to get hurt and end up in the hospital, and there’s no need to hurt someone else and end up in jail.

The last two weeks might’ve been confusing. You might’ve felt lost, overwhelmed, or unsure of yourself, but all of that is going to change this evening. If you can find a way to relax, the Full Moon will deliver, and insights, visions, and revelations light the way forward. That’s what the culmination point is all about.

The flipside of this scenario that you’re the one who people seem to be jealous of, or maybe you might be the target of someone who waited a long time to give you a taste of your own medicine, and if that is the case, then please allow me this opportunity to share my thoughts.

I never understood jealousy, and that’s probably why I hate the behavior of jealous people, but jealousy becomes a thing because people spend more time competing with and comparing themselves to others. You don’t need to compete with anyone, and you really shouldn’t be comparing yourself to anyone.

I’m not lying to you when I say you’re unique. You are not me, you are not your neighbor, and you’re not your coworkers. You are not your brother or sister, and you’re not your parents. How could you compare yourself to someone else when you’re both two separate and unique individuals? You wouldn’t compare apples and oranges because they’re two different fruits, so why would you compare yourself to your neighbor, your coworker, or the guy who sits in the desk across from you during math class?

If fact, you’ve spent so much time worrying about what everyone else is doing that you forgot about yourself. It’s time to put yourself first, and those who truly care about you and love you will not be made at you for doing so. If people are jealous of what you’re doing and what you have going on, then, oh well. Just keep going.

If people are looking to get even or get back at you for something you did a long time ago, then you must be a man about the situation. You can’t take back some of things you said, and you can’t take back some of the things you’ve done, but I can guarantee you that you’re no longer the person you were twenty years ago. The version of you who might’ve said and done some hurtful things twenty years ago is long gone. You’ve changed. You’ve grown up and matured, and hopefully whoever this person is who’s still holding a grudge against you realizes that.

Opposition

Today was Beltane, and Beltane is about the unification or the reuniting of the God and Goddess, but the opposition between the Sun on the 11th degree of Taurus in the Seventh House and the Moon on the 14th degree of Scorpio in the First House could indicate tension in relationships or marriages. If you and a partner can find a way to compromise, then a painful decision will have to be made. It appears as if your personal ambitions to follow through on things your passionate about is not being supported by the other right now. The other prefers a more predictable, safe, and consistent life around the home, and you’re pushing hard for something that’s meaningful to you.

The midheaven in Leo squared both the Sun and the Moon reveals that any type of expansion or growth whether it’s personal or with the other is going to be difficult. This could just be a time of working through problems, and that’s okay.

Mars is at home in Aries, and both are in the Sixth House of Health, Wealth, Work, and Service. A rare opportunity is present there is we’re willing to assert ourselves. Often in life we must fight for things, and sometimes it can be our health if we’re sick, or it can be a raise or a promotion at work. The quincunx connecting the Moon and Mars reveals that a little courage could go a long way now. If you’re presented with an opportunity at work, give it your best. Don’t shy away from this or attempt to talk yourself out of it. You’re ready, and you’re prepared.

Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio, is conjoined with the IC at the bottom of the chart (2 degrees of separation). You and a member of your extended family, or possibly a sibling, haven’t had the greatest relationship as of late, but Venus in Gemini indicates that there’s still a lot of love there. Be gentle.

Moon Scope

April 17, 2026

Friends, fans, and followers, thank you for visiting Nooz Buffet! We have a new lunar cycle beginning today, and this evening at approximately 5:45 PM, the Moon will be on the 3rd degree of Taurus in the Eighth House.

Taurus is the natural ruler of the Second House, which is widely accepted as the house of money, but personal possessions and resources can be found there as well. The Bull, however, is not home. A small portion of Taurus is occupying the Seventh House, and approximately 27 degrees is in the Eighth House, which is where the Moon, Venus, and Uranus will be at 5:45 PM.

As the sun begins to set and the sky darkens, a cool night breeze blows in the unmistakable vibes of spring love. Many of us may feel warm and affectionate at this time. That, of course, is the manifestation of lunar energy through the sign of Taurus, but that’s the higher vibration (light side) of lunar energies through Taurus. The Moon’s energies can manifest as some of the darker qualities of Taurus as well, so if you’re not feeling warm, affectionate, or in a loving mood, then perhaps you should listen to reason.

Taurus is a fixed sign, and The Bull is known to be quite “bull-headed.” Some of us can be extremely stubborn, but we’re not talking about stubbornness in a good way-like persistence when trying to achieve something. We’re talking about being obstinate.

For example, a little while ago, you decided to do something, and this could literally be anything (including a plan to even the score or get revenge on someone). After several weeks, or possibly even a month or two, you began to realize that maybe your original plan wasn’t such a good one. Afterall, you were highly emotional, not thinking clearly, or maybe even drunk or high at the time.

At what point do you say to yourself, “Okay, enough is enough. This isn’t working, this isn’t going to work, and nothing good can come of this?”

If that point has come already, and you’re still going despite the warnings, despite what you know, and despite what the outcome will be, then stop being obstinate. Use Taurus as a guide through this time. Taurus is an earth sign, and the earth element relates to the senses and sensuality. If all else fails, and you still refuse to change course, then ask yourself, “Does what I’m doing make sense?”

If it doesn’t make sense, then you have your answer.

We see situations like this coming up every time there’s an earth sign involved, but especially with Taurus because Taurus is the fixed one. The issue is that we can often be led astray when pursuing things that appeal to our senses, and truthfully, love makes people do crazy things, but the dichotomy between good and bad can be really tricky.

Just because something is good, that doesn’t mean it’s good for us. The most beautiful woman or the most handsome man in the room could be a terrible match for us despite how he or she appears physically. Foods that taste great are often the worst for us.

I think you know what I’m getting at here.

The Moon’s position in the Eighth House does indicate that something could be coming to an end, so as much as you refuse to let go of an idea or refuse to change course on a plan of action, the Universe might step in on your behalf.

Over the next five or six days, your dependability will be under scrutiny. There’s a lot going on, and people want to know if you’re going to show up.  People want to know if they can trust you.

I suggest that you be honest with anyone you’re dealing with at this time, especially when it comes to love and business. If your heart isn’t in it, then that’s okay. Don’t lead anyone on, don’t toy with anyone, and don’t manipulate (even if you have the power to do so).

At 5:45 PM, Libra will be the rising sign, which means that Venus rules the chart. This is important because Venus also rules Taurus, and with Taurus in the Eight House, it’s out with the old and in with the new right now. It’s a really good time to purchase new clothes and freshen up your look. It’s also a good time to purchase new furniture or small things that can restore harmony and beauty to your home.

Alright everyone, thank you for reading, and thank you for visiting Nooz Buffet!

Moon Scope; New Moon Illuminates Seventh House

March 15, 2026 (Written today for the New Moon on the 18th)

The new moon occurring on the 18th was so darn close to Aries that I wanted to say we were going to have a new moon in Aries, but because each and every degree of the zodiac is so important, I had to respect where the moon actually was on the 18th instead of where it was going to be at midnight on the 19th.

Long story short, we have another lunar cycle beginning in Pisces, but this new lunar cycle is a special one because it falls in between the equilux (equal day and night) and the first day of spring.

At precisely 5:47 P.M. on Wednesday, March 18th, the Moon will be located ten degrees above the descendent on the 25th degree of Pisces in the Seventh House. Once again, the Seventh House of Relationships is illuminated, but doubly so now because the Sun is only two degrees away from the Moon on the 28th degree.

At the top of the chart, the Midheaven is set on the 13th degree of Gemini, which is the Orion Constellation. According to ancient mythological sources, Orion was a great lover and huntsman, but this placement of the Midheaven definitely makes the location of both the Sun and Moon more interesting because Gemini is about communication and union.

In general, relationships at the time of the New Moon are easygoing. This conjunction between the Sun and Moon as the spring season approaches symbolizes the sacred and beautiful union of masculine and feminine forces here on earth. There’s lots of deep conversation and back-and-forth banter as you and a loved one attempt to know one another.

Pisces is a super sensitive sign full of love and compassion, the thing is..

..sometimes, when the sign of Pisces is involved, that love and compassion is hidden or buried, and it needs to either be dug up or rediscovered. Considering the location of the Midheaven, the Sun and Moon, Scorpio in the Third House, and Aries occupying a portion of the Seventh House, many of us could be going through a period of renewal or making up. It’s possible that someone was unfaithful, but it doesn’t have to be about that.

When you’ve been with someone for a very long time, there could come a point when the seriousness of the relationship comes into question-especially if things have always been casual between you two.

Photo by Zelch Csaba on Pexels.com

It seems like we’re trying to convince one another that we can be trusted, and that yes, we are the one! With Scorpio in the Third House and Pluto in the Fifth House, this can be a time of accidental or unplanned pregnancies.

Pluto is the planet of Emotional Encountering, and through Pluto we have deep-emotional experiences that can truly rock us at our core. A great example of what I see in this chart is this;

You and your partner have been together for a while. You love one another, but within, you’re both still questioning if the other is the “one,” and because of this confusion, this indecisiveness, and this uncertainty, which by the way is totally Pisces, your relationship seems to be at a standstill. Then, all of a sudden, bam! She gets pregnant, and it was really unplanned, but now the Universe (with the help of Pluto) has put you guys in a situation where the elephant in the room must be addressed. Either you guys are going to stay together and raise the baby, or you are both going to go your separate ways.

But I have to tell you, Aries occupying a portion of the Seventh House of Relationships does favor a fresh start, and the Midheaven on the 13th degree of Gemini and the conjunction between the Sun and Moon indicates a sacred union. Yes, your partner is the one, you guys just needed a little nudge to take the next step together.

Wow! Powerful chart!

As we move up the chart a little bit in a counterclockwise direction, we find Chiron sitting in the Eighth House on the 24th degree of Aries. Chiron is the symbol that looks like a little key.

The Eighth House can be a place of extremes, and in terms of being overly self-sufficient, the Eighth House can without a doubt take us to places that are either counterproductive or hazardous to our health. The semisextile connecting the Moon in the Seventh House to Chiron in the Eighth offers an opportunity to heal a wound that’s been with us for a long time, and the wound represented by Chiron in Aries is often a difficult one to become conscious of because it’s in our nature to suppress the fact that we might be afraid, fearful of something, or lack courage.

All three of those things can cause us to overcompensate or to be overly self-sufficient so in this case specifically, it’s best to work backwards-identify the behavior and then connect it to a cause. At the end of the day, you’ll come to realize that you’re fundamentally right and you’re perfect just as you are.

It’s likely that the right partner can help you realize this, and now that I’m realizing this, the entire chart for the night of the new moon makes perfect sense.

The new moon in Pisces now helps us to understand the power of belief, especially when it comes to what we believe about ourselves.

Have a wonderful evening everyone, and I hope the start of spring brings you a renewal of creativity and a fresh perspective on things.

The Seventh House is illuminated by the new moon, but also, because Aries is there in the Seventh House as well, our circle of friends and business partners could be changing faster than we think. Some of us need this change, while others are uneasy at the thought of a fresh-new start, but just remember, the Universe is a well-oiled machine.

The timing is perfect.

Moon Scope; Full Moon in Leo

February 1, 2026

Hello, and good afternoon!

Today is the first day of February, and I’m like, what happened to January? Wow! That was fast. Anywho, I’m somewhat excited because my birthday is in six days. Yayy me.

So, this evening, the first day of the month of February will be celebrated with a big, bright, and beautiful moon that will obviously be 100% illuminated. We are now in the culmination phase of a lunar cycle that began back on the 18th of January when the new moon was in Aquarius.

Keep in mind, the Aquarius/Leo axis or polarity is about will-human will. Those of us who have any oppositional points in the natal chart involving these two signs are likely to feel this full moon in a special way. Those points could be the nodal axis, the ascendant/descendant axis, or the MC/IC axis.

Currently, the Moon is on the 9th degree of Leo in the Fourth House, which puts our nighttime luminary in opposition the Tenth House Aquarian Sun. There’s actually a lot of activity in Aquarius right now (Mercury, Venus, Sun, Mars, Astraea, Pluto), and I think this is a good sign for all Aquarians. I feel like the rebel of our zodiac has endured so much during the past ten or fifteen years, but there finally seems to be some light at the end the tunnel. If that’s the case, give yourself a pat on the back. It’s because you never gave up, and that my friends, is called will power.

In astrology, the Moon represents our general mood, our feelings, and how we react or respond to things. The Moon is methodical and calculative.

The Sun is the provider of warmth, light, and life. Imagine that you’re a Sun. You have full control over who you give your light and warmth to by who and what you decide to focus on and give your attention to.

You have full control over what and who you give life to, right? As the saying goes, “Out of sight, out of mind.”

Some people, some projects, and some things in general are just not worth our attention or our focus anymore. At the time of this full moon, we’re getting a real good look at the things that are draining us of time, energy, and personal resources. We’re figuring out what’s important to us and what truly matters.

With the Moon lighting up the Fourth House, the Sun lighting up the Tenth, and both luminaries in opposition to one another, there might be a need for some of us to balance our public and private lives. In terms of balance, you have to be honest with yourself.

Some people work eight, nine, or ten hours per day, and then they go home and they take their work with them. Some people work seven days per week and have two jobs. If you’re single and you’re not married and don’t have children, then I guess this type of schedule is okay, but you do need to disconnect and relax to prevent burnout.

If you are married or in a relationship and you have children, then again, you need to be honest with yourself about your time and how it’s being spent.

Leo is a glamourous sign. Leo loves the spotlight, and Leo loves being on stage. The lion is prideful and egotistical, and the Lion gets noticed. That’s just the way it is, but interestingly enough, because Leo is in the Fourth House, that’s where the majority of our attention and focus is right now. We may not want it that way, but we don’t seem to have any control over it at this time.

There’s a natural desire for some of us to want to be out and about, to grow and expand, to want to work more, and to just want to be in public eye all the time, but matters of the Fourth House are calling us home. These are matters of the heart so deal with them and resolve them with love.

A semi-sextile connecting the Moon to the South Node in Virgo in the Fifth House, might have us feeling a little nostalgic. We might even find ourselves dwelling on the past or how things used to be.

Relax, and bring out the good wine! There’s nothing wrong with reminiscing and laughing about things that have gone on over the years as long as you’re over it all, however, it’s in your best interest to keep your thoughts progressive.

This semi-sextile appears to be giving us a second chance, a chance to make good on something, or an opportunity to revisit something we overlooked or forget about. Virgo is providing clues for how to go about this so pay attention.

Remain patient and gather whatever materials you might need. You’re gathering facts and seeking truths. You can really make things better this time, and while you thought the Fourth House was going to limit Leo’s expansiveness, this really turns out to be that you’re taking a minor step backwards to make one giant leap forward.

Happy Birthday Aquarius!

Moon Scope: Capricorn Hosts the First New Moon of 2026

January 18, 2026

For a very long time, we've been feeling this way:

We're standing outside, and we're holding a very heavy object over our heads. At first, things were great and it was easy to do, but as time went on, we got tired. Our legs and arms began to shake, and for the very first time, doubt was the overwhelming feeling. We were clearly struggling and we needed help, but for some reason, we were invisible to the people in the world around us. Every day, they walked past us laughing and conversing with one another-never once looking in our direction.
While we struggled to keep this heavy object over our heads, which by the way had eventually brought us down to one knee, the people around us never got involved. So, we accepted our fate. "This object is going to crush me, and no one even cares."

Then, one day, two people decided to stop. "Hey, let us give you a hand with that," they said.
Photo by Soly Moses on Pexels.com

Good morning! Well, it’s Sunday, January 18th and the ground here in the eastern United States is covered with snow. Ah yes, it’s the winter and Capricorn, which is where this current lunar cycle begins anew, happens to be one of three winter signs.

So, this evening at approximately four o’clock, the Moon will be on the 29th degree of Capricorn in the Seventh House. There’s actually a lot going on there in the Seventh House, and it’s kind of a cluster “you know what” as the moon shifts into a conjunction with the Sun, Mercury, Mars, Venus, Pluto, and the Goddess Astraea.

That’s lot of energy concentrated in a relatively small area because if you look at the chart, you can see that all of those planets are between the 26th degree of Capricorn and the 3rd degree of Aquarius. Without a doubt, the first new moon of 2026 is going to be a powerful one.

The new moon is obviously a time of new beginnings, but to say the same thing in a little bit of a different way, it’s a great time to start something whether it’s something completely new or something you’ve been putting off for whatever reason. The new moon is an excellent time to meditate, and from a ritualistic standpoint, remember, intent is everything.

The best way to start fresh is through honesty and being truthful. I can’t think of a better way to begin something than by laying all the cards out on the table, and it’s quite possible that this has everything to do with us personally. Sometimes, we need to be honest with ourselves.

In the Seventh House of Partnerships, the Moon is getting a lot of resistance from Jupiter in Cancer in the Twelfth House, and there’s both a good side and a bad side to what I’m seeing here. The bad side is that our relationships, whether they’re personal or business, are blocked from the type of abundance, growth, and luck that only the King of the Gods can offer us, but that’s okay. Some things just aren’t meant to be.

The good side to this is that we’re in the driver seat and in full control over what transpires during the next two weeks. The Crab that symbolizes Cancer has a tendency to retreat and hide when facing danger or uncertain situations, so I must ask; when it comes to partnerships or relationships in general, are you playing it safe? Humans love comfort, and sometimes, we’ll do anything to preserve and maintain our comfort zones, even if it means retreating and hiding.

It’s a brand-new new year and a new lunar cycle is beginning now, the very first of the new year as a matter of fact, and the Universe is presenting us with an opportunity that we haven’t had in a very long time-some of us never. If you’re willing to step out of the shadows, if you’re willing to leave comfort and safety behind, and if you’re brave and confident enough to face the world as you are right now then you can step in flow with the energy of Universe.

There aren’t too many people who are capable understanding that concept, but life on this planet in this galaxy and in this universe, well, it’s like a cosmic dance and mastery over yourself and the world around you allows you to move in rhythm.

Now, as you begin to lay those cards out on the table and become honest with yourself, you’re going to realize that you have boundaries. Not all authority is good authority, and you don’t have to accept the unacceptable. Through the confidence you have in yourself, and perhaps, the security and support you have from another person, you now have the courage to refuse. Your refusal to comply with something finally balances the scales.

This is wonderful, but you might see it another way. You might think you’ve ruined something or that you’re going to be in a far worse situation. You’re going to question yourself and you might even accuse someone close to you for ruining your life. For a brief time, you’re going to wish you retreated, played it safe, and remained in the shadows, but you couldn’t be further from the truth.

The Moon’s sextile to the Midheaven on the 2nd degree of Aries, which is also where the Asteroid Goddess Hebe is located, reveals proof of an invigorating, lively, and almost youthful feeling that we haven’t felt since we were kids or in the prime of our lives! Through the ancient Greek Goddess, Hebe, we almost feel like breaking down and crying tears of joy, because my friends, the Universe has finally softened up, and it’s showing forgiveness and mercy.

It’s okay to show emotions, and it’s okay to cry. You’re going to want to show some appreciation and express gratitude, but it’s all you. You’re discipline, your determination, and your ability to maintain consistency is what got you to this point. You never gave up.

During the next two weeks, patience wins out. Be present and be in the moment for every conversation you have. That not only helps you, but it also helps the person you’re talking to as well.

Capricorn is the sign of prudence, and since the new moon is so close to the Aquarius border, we must guard against aloofness and unpredictability.

Now’s not the time to go rouge, and despite how tempting it may be, rebelliousness is not the way forward. You’re a good person, and the people around you are starting to see that. It’s been a long time coming, but act like you’ve been there before (if that’s possible).

The dark side of the Capricorn Moon can manifest as pessimism, but the sextile connecting the Moon to the Midheaven requires total peace and optimism. If you feel yourself becoming opinionated and petty, take a step back and regroup. You got this.

The first new moon of 2026 is illuminating the astrological Seventh House of Partnerships and Relationships, and that’s where our focus will be until the 1st of February. This could mean marriage, the signing of contracts, competition in business, friendships, and love affairs. This is about reinforcing the good connections we already have and letting go of those that no longer work for us. People grow apart; it’s just the way life is.

There’s something to be said about the company we keep, and it looks as if the Universe is giving us every opportunity to begin 2026 in strong and supportive relationships with people who truly care about us.

Have a wonderful day!

Moon Scope; Rare, Second New Moon in Sagittarius

December 14, 2025

Written on Sunday, December 14th for the New Moon on December 19th.

Hello, and thank you for visiting Nooz Buffet.

This is rare. Last year, I just started tracking how the Moon, in its cycles, moves through the zodiac, and this is the first time that we have back-to-back new moons occurring in the same sign. On November 20th, we had a new moon in Sagittarius, and on December 19th, another lunar cycle will begin in the sign of the Archer.

Usually, 99% of the time, new moons occur in succeeding signs. So, if we have a new moon in Cancer, the next new moon will be in Leo, and the one after that in Virgo, and so on in order.

Hmm, interesting. Let’s see what’s going on.

I just recently did an Astrological Analysis for someone who was asking me about her health, and wow, will you look at this chart to the right. Five planets are in the Sixth House of Health and Service!

This chart was pulled for the night of the new moon, Friday, December 19th at 5 o’clock in the evening.

With Cancer on the horizon, the energies around the time of the new moon are going to be loving and nurturing, and some of us might feel the need to be home more or around things that are familiar to us.

The five-planet stellium in the Sixth House leaves no doubt that there’s a powerful and intense focus on matters related to health and service, and if you look closely in there, you can see that the Moon and Venus are conjoined with about two degrees of separation.

Service can be many things. It can be services we provide to others, military service, service we provide to ourselves, and service to God or a Higher Power. In terms of health, the service we provide to ourselves is most important because we’re nothing without our health.

Sagittarius is the sign of optimism, and The Archer says, “I see.” This makes navigating through the energies at the beginning of this lunar cycle relatively easy because you can see what’s going on. You can see that it’s time to start dieting. You can see that maybe it’s time to join a gym or start exercising regularly on your own.

You can look at the clock and see that time is winding down, so it would be wise to get busy with whatever it is you’re working on or planning to do.

Optimism. I know it’s hard sometimes to start new things because we’re creatures of habit. We get used to things and it’s easy for us to settle into our routines and refuse all disturbances, but if you can keep a good attitude about what you’re attempting to do, you might find soon that were just overreacting the whole time.

Yes, change can be a pain in the ass, and yes, stepping out of our comfort zone does take effort and sometimes courage, but how many times have you decided to do something you really didn’t want to do only to feel really good about yourself after you did it?

This Sagittarian energy could have some of us feeling a bit restless and anxious, but we’re excited to start new things and meet new people. We want to expand, branch-out, network and grow, and a good attitude can certainly help us do that. Excitement and enthusiasm are contagious, and if you’re brimming with both, people will want to be around you and include you in things.

At the time of this new moon, some of us might decide to renew or rediscover our faith or our relationship to God or a Higher Power. Some of us might have the desire to join a church for the first time or switch religions altogether and join a new church.

In astrology, the Moon represents our deep subconscious minds, our general mood, and how we respond or react to things. Venus is the Goddess of Love and Beauty. With both conjoined in Sagittarius, our initial reaction to something we encounter around the time of December 19th is likely to be with open arms and love in our hearts, and it will be important for us to hold on to this feeling long enough to catch the eye of someone important.

All is fair in love and war, and of course, there are people who will want to sabotage and attempt to take this moment from you, but once the cat is out of the bag, it’s going to be out forever. 2026 can begin in a way you never imagined once you reveal how you truly feel about someone or something.

Conclusion

Okay, so, we have the Ninth House ruler, Sagittarius, in the Sixth House. We also have the Moon’s Nodal Axis connecting the Third and the Ninth House, and Jupiter, the planetary ruler of Sagittarius, is in Cancer in the First House.

All of this adds up to us starting something now pertaining to health and service that will be the beginning of a very long journey. Think about how this energy could manifest.

For example..

Maybe you’re overweight, and you’ve been letting it go for a very long time, but you can’t anymore because your health is deteriorating.

You start by gathering information, and then you decide to reach out to a dietician, and maybe, meet up with a personal trainer at the gym. Boom! The weight loss journey begins!

Now, let’s look at this situation from a different perspective (South Node in the Third House/North Node in the Ninth House). You’ve come to the end of that journey, and now you want to reach out to people. You’ve become an expert in weight loss and your personal story is inspiring. Writing a book or speaking in front of large audiences-that’s all covered in the Ninth House, which is where the North Node is located.

In astrology, the 22nd degree is known as the “kill or be killed degree.” That means that it’s do or die time. A quincunx connects the conjunction between the Moon and Venus in the Sixth House to Jupiter on the 22nd degree of Cancer in the First House.

It’s time to make your personal health a priority, and if you do, Jupiter promises expansion, luck, growth, success, abundance, and prosperity. It seems like an easy and obvious choice, so what are you waiting for?

The Universe is trying to tell us something. We missed something important, so the Moon is coming back to Sagittarius again to begin another lunar cycle for the second time in a month. It’s like we’re being blessed with a second chance or another opportunity. Don’t fuck this up.

Moon Scope; New Moon in Sagittarius

November 20, 2025

Good morning, and thank you for visiting Nooz Buffet! It’s Thursday, November 20th, and today, we have a new lunar cycle set to begin in the astrological sign, Sagittarius.

Sagittarius represents masculine fire, and so I wouldn’t doubt it if emotions were running high at this time. By nature, fire signs are emotional, and here we are now heading into the Holiday Season. Thanksgiving is next Thursday, and lots of people are going to be busy making plans for dinner and traveling. It’s just a busy and potentially stressful time of the year, but it’s the mutability and the optimism of the Archer that lights the way forward.

Subconsciously, there can be a whole lot bubbling beneath the surface, but if any of it reaches the awakened mind, it’s more than likely going to be about how others see you. Some of us might find ourselves overly concerned with the opinions of others, personal status, or reputation within our communities, and that’s coming directly from the Fourth House of Home.

Things happen in life. You could end up homeless, you could lose your job and your home and have to move back in with your parents, your house could catch fire and become a pile of ashes, or you might just be the type of person who never leaves home. Whatever the case may be, try your best to not feel guilt or shame, or that you’re in any way, less of a human being than someone who has a million-dollar home overlooking the water.

Unfortunately, in the Tenth House, the world is not a perfect place because the Tenth House is a measure of our acquisitions and our achievements, but good deeds go a long way. Sincerity is one of the brightest qualities of Sagittarius. Doing the right thing when no one is looking, taking your time to help someone in need, and just being a person who acts from a place of care and compassion could put you in a whole new light. This new moon in Sagittarius indicates a fresh starting point. You are in full control, and you can change the opinions people have of you by not by making more money or buying a bigger home, but by becoming a better person.

If you take a peek at the astrology chart provided by Astro.com, you’ll see the Moon in the Eleventh House on the 2nd degree of Sagittarius. The Sun is only four degrees away in Scorpio on the 28th degree, which means the Sun and the Moon are conjoined with four degrees of separation. As far as this conjunction is concerned, four degrees of separation is still close enough for these two luminaries to be influenced by one another.

Sagittarius’s fire is more of a creative fire, so any restlessness felt now can definitely stem from personal ambition to seek out the experiences and the relationships that are going to help us grow as individuals. You’re feeling optimistic and open-minded now, and your will to explore could make it difficult to stay committed or tend to mundane responsibilities.

This new moon is unique. Yes, it’s a new moon and the beginning of a brand-new lunar cycle, but also, tonight’s new moon represents the beginning of the last full lunar cycle that we’ll see in 2025. This lunar cycle will take us all the way to December 17th.

A trine between the Moon and Jupiter in Cancer in the Seventh House, reveals that a lot can be gained through the personal relationships we form at this time and those we might already be in, but you’re going to have to remain loyal to those who are loyal to you. It’s the energetic pull of the Moon as it’s expressed through Sagittarius that’s going to have us feeling an adventurous streak, but trust me, you have something good at home. Don’t put that relationship in jeopardy for something new and different because with Pluto in the First House of Self opposing Jupiter in the Seventh House, infidelity can turn this holiday season on its head.

Alright everyone! I love you all, and I appreciate your support. Thank you.

Moon Scope; It’s a Full Moon in the Sign of Dependability

Written today, November 3, 2025, for the November 5th Full Moon

Good morning, beloved. Thank you for visiting! This evening or late this afternoon at approximately 4:18 P.M., we have a full moon in the astrological sign, Taurus. This is the culmination phase of our current lunar cycle that actually began on October 21st when the Moon was new in Scorpio.

If you look at the chart to the right (Thank you Astro.Com), you’ll see the Moon lighting up the First House on the 18th degree of Taurus.

The energy of this full Moon will cause us to refocus our attention on First House matters, which are ultimately about the self.

Take a good long look into the mirror baby!

Now, because Taurus is involved, some of us might be in contemplation mode, mulling our current situations in terms of personal possessions. Can you see how that works? The First House tells us this energy is going to be about the self, but the sign gives us a little bit more in terms of specifics.

So, some of us might be looking for ways to earn more money, and that includes the acquisition of licenses or certifications that would qualify us to make or earn more money.

This energy could also manifest in a different direction and not be so much about making money, but rather us looking at the money or possessions we already have. Maybe, at the time of this full moon, we’re realizing that we need to manage our finances better.

Having said that, it would be a great time to invest in yourself. You could be looking at what’s hanging in your closet right now and saying to yourself, “Wow, I need to buy some new clothes.”

Taurus is an earth sign that’s ruled by Venus, the planet of love and beauty. Earth signs are extremely sensual and driven by what appeals to the senses. We might feel an urge now to fill our living space with things that create a feeling of warmth, comfort, and love.

Okay, now we need to get down to what’s really going on. The Moon in the First House is opposite the Sun in the Seventh House. Some of us could be having problems with other people right now. The Seventh House deals with relationships of all kinds. This could manifest as a problem between two people within a marriage, or a problem between friends. This could also play out as some kind of contract dispute in which someone isn’t holding up their end of an agreement.

This is the point where we must go back to the beginning of this article, and once again, take a good long look in the mirror baby. Ya know, it’s so easy to point the finger and blame the other for why the marriage failed or why the relationship ended, but there’s no growth in that. There’s no evolution, and there’s no maturation in that either.

We can’t turn squares into trines or oppositions into trines if we’re incapable of taking responsibility for own actions or admitting when we’re wrong. Taurus is a fixed sign, so I ask you, were you inflexible? Unwilling to change? Were you so darn selfish and headstrong that you refused to budge, give an inch, or accommodate?

Taurus is the sign of dependability, and at the end of the day, I can’t help but think that somehow or someway, dependability was an issue. When people are counting on us to show up, we have to show up.

Friends and family members might be counting on us to be there to express love and to show support.

The contract might require you to be at a certain place five days per week. Dependability. Are you dependable?

A Deeper Look

A deeper look into this chart reveals that at the time of this full moon, some of us could be having a real problem with an authority figure. This could be your father, but because the Seventh House is involved, it could be a husband or maybe even a boss at work. Honestly, this might not even be your fault. This person, for whatever reason, seems hell bent on making your life difficult and they just happen to be in a position to do so.

This would be someone who’s preventing you from marrying the person you love. This could also be, because of Scorpio, someone who’s lying, spreading rumors, or being manipulative in some way. What they’re actually doing is making it impossible for you to move forward in a relationship and/or in business. They’ve become the wall you can’t run through, run around, or jump over, and this is the point in the opposition that requires us to make a choice between two things.

I also see something unexpected happening that will require our attention, and it involves a sibling or a distant relative like an aunt, an uncle, or a cousin.

Conclusion

The full moon is a time of culmination. It’s a time of revelation, and it’s a time when the way forward becomes clear. At the time of the full moon, things that were confusing two weeks ago suddenly make sense, so even though things may seem to be harder, they’re really not. It’s just the overload of new information, and sometimes when you have too many options, deciding on just one is difficult.

Successful navigation through the energies of this full moon might require us to embody the traits and characteristics of the Bull, Taurus. Start with being quiet and dependable instead of boastful and inconsistent. Instead of talking about all the good things you’re going to do, just do them. The Universe favors actions over words. I would rather have a partner that’s prepared and shows up every day over someone who keeps making empty promises.

Like the Bull, there’s nothing wrong with being stubborn. The fixed quality of Taurus can actually be quite beneficial because it could manifest as tremendous focus and/or a personality type that refuses to give up, but like Kenny Rogers said, “You got to know to know when to hold em’, know when to fold em’, know when to walk away, and know when to run.”

Affection and patience win out now. Be grounded and be practical in your approach.

If you’re experiencing Seventh House issues right now, please understand that the root of those issues are complicated. Scorpio is an extremely passionate sign, and they don’t forget. They can be vengeful and wait years to retaliate for something you did a long time ago, and that’s another reason why it’s good to look in the mirror-maybe not literally, but if you’re having issues in a relationship now, perhaps you did something a while ago that was never forgotten.

Don’t worry, though, because the energy of this full moon will fill in the gaps, and by the time the new lunar cycle begins on the 20th of November, all of our problems should be resolved. Just in time for Thanksgiving!

Alright everyone. Thank you for visiting.

Moon Scope, Full Moon in Pisces Brings the Mysterious to Light

September 6, 2025

On Sunday, September 7th, at 12:47 in the morning, the moon will be full in Pisces in the Ninth House.

I just published an article here on N.B. on the 2nd titled, “A Special Alignment for Tomorrow.”  The alignment was the Mars conjunction with the Midheaven in Libra and the angles it formed to the Moon’s Nodal Axis.  At the end of the article, I wrote, “Now is not the time to give up.  It’s time to go within.”

Pisces is the last sign of our zodiac, and of course, Pisces rules the Twelfth House, but despite its house position, Pisces always carries with it, an aura of mystery.

The reason for why that is happens to be a natural one.  Whenever something is at the end, there’s always uncertainty and a mysterious nature surrounding it because no one knows what’s coming next.

If you felt these last two weeks starting from the time of the new moon, have been difficult, trying, and tough, well, I share that feeling with you.  It has been difficult, but when this current lunar cycle culminates and the moon is illuminated at 100%, the light of the moon will finally penetrate the surface of these Piscean waters.

I hope you didn’t give up because it’s time to go within, and that’s what the universe is supporting now.  And, how unbelievably fitting it is to not only have the full moon Pisces, but in the Ninth House as well.

Whenever things get tough and we begin to feel the pushback or the resistance, our first thought is always to give up or to change what we’re doing, but when you truly believe in something or what it is that you’re doing or working on, you’re not going to give up so easily.

You’re going to meet the resistance head on, you’re going to give it your best effort, and if your best effort isn’t good enough, you’re going to question yourself and perhaps, your preparation.  That’s exactly where we’re at right now, and the Ninth House is the place of long journeys.

Long journey doesn’t necessarily mean traveling.  It could be a spiritual journey or a difficult project that takes a lot of time and effort.   It could be something you started, like a diet or a weight training routine that you hope at some point, yields visible results.

The Ninth House is that long journey, and it governs things that are worth having because they’re not easily attainable.

At the time of this full moon, we’re finally going to get some of the answers we’ve been looking for, and probably, some we weren’t expecting, but the point is that the way forward is going to become clear.

When I look at the chart, I can see the opposition is coming from an authority figure or someone in a position of power.  It could also be a male figure like a husband or father.

Someone has definitely been talking about us, and it might not have been so nice.  This could mean they’ve been lying either to us directly about something or about us to someone else.  Lies and rumors that are told and spread about us behind our backs can not only be damaging to us and what we’re trying to accomplish, but they can definitely make things confusing.

This is why things have felt so tough and so hard for the past two weeks.  The square between the Moon and Uranus in Gemini in the Twelfth House of Secret Enemies absolutely validates and confirms what I just said.

So, again, it’s time to go within.  Don’t be afraid to spend some time alone or maybe some time in total isolation.  Be careful with who you’re sharing your business with.

From now until the time of the new moon, it would be smart to tighten up your circle, and I would keep any future plans or ideas you might have to yourself.

For those of us who are standing on truth and trying to carve out an authentic path for ourselves while remaining absolutely true to who we are, the way forward is going to be difficult and you’re always going to be met with resistance because you’re dealing with people who are asleep.

When people are asleep and unaware of what they’re doing, evil can work through them, and that’s why Jesus asked his father to forgive them.  They knew not.

Today, things haven’t really changed, so you must be aware and take extra precautions.

Okay, beloved.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
