The Zero Degree and the New Moon

Happy birthday season to all the fish!  Yes, the sun just blazed a trail through Aquarius, and today, Sol sits on the zero degree of Pisces.  Casablanca, Alexandria, and Dublin are several cities ruled by the astrological sign Pisces, and pale green and turquoise are its special colors.

The duality, element, and quality is feminine, water, and mutable.  Pisces is a feminine sign that shares an axis with its polar opposite, Virgo.

According to astrology, you’re a Pisces if your natal sun is in Pisces between the dates of February 19th and March 20th, approximately.  Pisces are known to be imaginative, emotional, intuitive, romantic, and because of their quality, they can be quite adaptable.

Neptune is the ruling planet, and Neptune is home in Pisces in the 12th House.  Neptune is the god of the sea and the Roman equivalent to ancient Greece’s Poseidon.  The 12th House is considered one of the more mystical houses, and I’ve been talking about it a lot here on Nooz Buffet during my astrological interpretations of people who suffered untimely deaths.

It’s not that the 12th House is that bad. We just perceive it as bad because it’s where we find the limitations that life places upon us.  Sometimes, though, as we’ve come to understand with Saturn, limitations aren’t always a bad thing.  If you just won a million dollars, but you’re terrible with handling money, a $1,000 per week maximum payout can be a good thing.

In order to understand the 12th House, you have to be honest with yourself because this is also where we find karma and the law of return.  This is where we’re awarded or punished for the deeds we’ve done.  If you refuse to take responsibility, then how will you learn?

🌚 I don’t know if it’s always like this, but it seems lately, every time the sun enters a new sign, there’s a new moon in the same sign around the same time.  Now is no different.

Tomorrow night, 2/20, there’s a new moon in Pisces, and every time we talk about new moons, I remind you guys that it’s a time for planting seeds.  That, of course, is harvest language.  I don’t mean literally to go outside and start a garden.

The new moon is when a new moon cycle begins.  It’s a time of endings and new beginnings, and it’s the perfect time to start something new.

Here is the most important part; a lot of people say bullshit to this or that it doesn’t matter when you begin something, and to them, I have two things to say.

Starting something at the time of the new moon is like being in the ocean and timing that wave that allows you to coast gracefully ashore.

The second thing is about endings and new beginnings. Again, people say bullshit or they don’t get it or see any difference.

When something ends, something new begins. The end of one thing is the beginning of something else. Essentially, endings and beginnings are the same.

What are we doing wrong?

When the moon turns from a waning crescent that’s lit at 1% to a new moon, it’s like turning a page in a book. There’s is no overlap or dragging it out. If you want something new to begin, like a real true beginning, you have to put an end to whatever you don’t want anymore. Not 75%, not 50%, not 10%; you have to end it totally.

That’s why we’re not seeing the change we want.

The key phrase for Pisces is, “I believe.” With the sun entering Pisces and the new moon phase beginning tomorrow night, it’s the perfect time to commit to something you believe in, change your belief system, or just be done with and over lies, falsities, and whatever has failed the test of time.

It’s time to get with yourself and figure it out. Is what you believe truly what you personally believe? What beliefs have you adopted through birth, because of peer pressure, or because they were popular? It’s time to separate what’s yours from what isn’t.

The lucky numbers for Pisces are 2 and 6, and amethyst is the lucky stone.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, and have a great week!

Moon Scope; Something Fishy Going On..

Good Evening! This week was hectic, and I haven’t done a Moon Scope in quite some time, but at this point I feel like I need to see what’s going on up there.

Right now, the moon is a waxing gibbous lit-up at 95%. The moon will be full in two more nights in Aries on October ninth.

Photo by Emiliano Arano on Pexels.com

Tonight’s moon is in the astrological sign of Pisces, and at this moment (4:31 PM), it’s in the first house. So, we have the moon in Pisces (18th degree) in the first house in a conjunction (5 degrees) with the ruler of Pisces, Neptune.

Our discovery of the moon in the first house sets the tone for something personal, and trust me, the timing is perfect. The first house is the house of self, it’s partially our personality, but generally it’s about the way you present yourself to others and the way the outside world sees you. In an individual’s chart, the first house is the most powerful and the most personal because it represents you!

The moon is comfortable in compatible Pisces. The moon is reserved, methodical, and it’s energy is feminine. Pisces is receptive and mutable. Suddenly, the moon is shining a light on the undercurrents and depths of the self but in a unique way enabled only by this conjunction we mentioned earlier.

The message I’m getting from the heavens right now is to put aggression aside. There are times when-it’s time to go, and there are times when it’s important to wait. Now, I wouldn’t say this is a time to wait as in doing nothing, but listening and trying to go with the flow is the recommendation.

Pisces is a water sign, and like we mentioned, it’s mutable, meaning adaptable, flexible, and open to change. For those of us who believe in the universe and follow astrology, the Gods, I feel are trying to bestow something special that has the ability to completely change who we are for the better. It can be something that can help us improve in a major way, so much so, that it actually has the ability to change the perceptions people have of us. Which is not typical for this alignment or the planets involved.

This is big. Don’t get caught up in the arguing and don’t lose focus on what’s going on around you. Water represents intuition, and with intuition, greater fulfillment is possible with a clear sense of reality and balance.

The Neptunian energy is entwined with lunar energy, and this is powerful with only 5 degrees of separation. The energy here is about romance, dreams, mysticism, illusion, inspiration, and a connection to a higher source. It’s like God is about to show you something that has been hidden in the watery depths of your subconscious only to be brought to surface at this very precise time. If you have some time to escape and be alone with yourself, this is an excellent time to pray or mediate. Get ready because the door to the spirit world is about to open for a brief moment and who knows what’s coming through it. It could be a barrage of information and you’ll need to determine what’s real and useful, and what’s a figment of your imagination.

Don’t forget, traditionally, Pisces is a 12th house sign. This could be about self-improvement through beating an addiction, coming out of prison and starting a brand-new life, or eliminating self-sabotaging behaviors or thoughts. The Universe is pushing us towards a greater future with a renewed sense of self. So renewed, that everyone around you will notice!

A great movie to watch right Now: Satan’s Triangle (1975) 👍

Lucky Day: Today! Friday!

Lucky numbers: 2 and 6

Friends and Followers, what’s going on!

It is the 23rd day of February, and it’s a warmer than usual evening around these parts. We had a beautiful day today, I mean it wasn’t sunny, but the temperature was in the 60s! We still have a few weeks of winter, and a snow storm is in the forecast for Friday, but it was a nice change.

Before I get into the Nooz, I wanted to say this;

I’ve always, for my entire life, rooted for the underdog. I despise tyranny, I despise control, and I particularly hate it when I don’t have a choice. I have no problem following rules, but if the rules only apply to me, than I’m not following.

I support people who stand for what they believe in. When you feel like something isn’t right, or your human rights are being violated, you’re supposed to speak up. That’s not being rebellious or ignorant.

Some of these people out here should be ashamed of themselves. They hate freedom and they hate it when people stand up for themselves. What’s wrong with you? There’s all of a sudden this popular belief that protesting is wrong. It isn’t wrong. Sometimes it’s necessary for us to put our personal lives on hold to address an issue.

Some people need to take a good long hard look at themselves. You people who take no responsibility and admit no guilt, where are you morally? Virtues?

You’re glad protesters got beat by the armed militia? They got what they deserved for opening up their mouths? Really? Is that how you really feel? That’s the mentality of a tyrant. You’re not my friend.

One more question. What the fuck is bwaahaaa? bwahahaaa? That’s some loser shit from 2008. 🤣🤣🤣 That shit lost.

I digress.

Moving Forward…

♓Okay, it’s officially Pisces season. The sun entered Pisces around the 19th, and it will remain in the sign of the fish until March 20th. I don’t know why, but Pisces is one of those signs I seem to overlook. Like, I should study Pisces more. I know quite a few people who have their natal sun in Pisces, and they’re interesting people. They’re deep emotionally and talented, but for some reason they don’t see in themselves what others see. They don’t give themselves enough credit. Love yourself Pisces.

🌔The moon is on the 7th degree of Sagittarius, and Venus and Mars are still in conjunction in Capricorn. Because of that conjunction, they said February 16th was supposed to be the most romantic day of the year. How’d you do? Sagittarius is a fire sign that dwells in the 9th house of the zodiac. The archer has some amazing power if you know how to make it work for you, but in general, the moon in that location should stir up some emotions towards higher education and long distance travel. Maybe it’s time to hop in the car and take that road trip you’ve been putting off.

🤣I know I’m a little late on this because I’m always late to the party on television shows, but who’s watching Coach John McGuirk on Adult Swim? Funny…

🛸I don’t know why, but NUFORC, my go to site for UFO reports stop posting. Either they stopped posting reports or there hasn’t been anything to report. That’s right, not a single report for 2022. I find that hard to believe.

💥I thought the tensions between Russia and Ukraine subsided, apparently not though. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, thinks Russia could invade tonight!

https://www.aa.com.tr/en/americas/us-believes-russia-could-invade-ukraine-before-night-is-over/2511863

Alright everyone. I’m ending this post here. It’s been a long day, I worked 10 hours, and I’m out of brain power. LOL I’m talking about friggin Coach John Mc Guirk! OMG. ♥♥💙💙❤❤

Have a good night.

Smorgasbord A Collection of Thoughts Experiences and Stories

I would like to apologize to everyone who attempted to leave a review for Smorgasbord A Collection of Thoughts Experiences and Stories on Amazon. My friends and supporters are starting to come back to me because they’re having a problem writing reviews; Amazon is not letting them. There’s a pop up message about guidelines or something. I haven’t had time to look into this issue yet, but I will Thursday. If you would still like to write a review, I kindly suggest visiting the Barnes & Noble website instead and writing one there. Like I said, I don’t know what the issue is yet with Amazon so I’m not going to speculate. Thank you for trying, please don’t give up. Head over to Barnes & Noble.

Smorgasbord 2 Catch Up and Relish

It seems like it took forever, but Smorgasbord 2 Catch Up and Relish is near completion! What you see there on the left is the official front and back cover. I’m beyond excited for the release of this book, and I think you’re going to enjoy reading it. Fulton Books in Meadville, Pennsylvania is the publishing company.

Upcoming Projects: I’ve been working on Smorgasbord 3 for a few months now. I don’t want to give away too much too soon, but there will be a third book. The title will be Smorgasbord 3 Poverty & Prophecy, and it’s going to blow you away! Also, I’m thinking about having a Smorgasbord 2 release party somewhere. I will keep you updated and in-the-loop on that.

Well, it’s old news now, but the Rams beat the Bengals and won the Super Bowl! Super Bowl LVI (56) was played last Sunday, February 13th, and it was a close one. The Rams won the game by 3 points with a fourth quarter touchdown pass from Mathew Stafford to Coffee Cup? Oh wait, Copper Kupp. Sorry. 🤣🤣 Up until that point, the Bengals held a 20-16 lead that went all the way down to the wire. To be exact, there was 1:25 left to play when the Rams scored the go-ahead touchdown. Stafford completed 26 out of 40 passes for 283 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Ram’s rushing game was nowhere to be found; Cam Akers ran the ball 13 times for 21 yards and never even reached pay dirt.

Joe Burrow completed 22 passes for 263 yards and 1 touchdown. They were able to run the ball well with Joe Mixon (4.8 yards per carry), and WR Tee Higgins caught 4 passes for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns. In the end though, none of that mattered for the Bengals. On that day, the 13th of February in the year 2022, the Rams were the better team.

♒♓Wow! How fast did the Aquarius birthday season go? I mean seriously, in three more days on the 18th, the sun will move into the astrological sign of Pisces. Honestly, though, I can’t wait. I’m so ready for spring, and I know a lot of you are too. 🌔Currently, the moon is on the 20th degree of fiery Leo, and Venus and Mars are in a body to body conjunction on the 16th degree of Capricorn. Talk about war and peace, huh…

💥Speaking of war, according to Greek Reporter dot com, Russia is now withdrawing its troops from the Ukraine border. I guess they just wanted to get in Ukraine’s face and talk some shit?

💩Oh, BIG STORY here. Eminem kneeled during the half time show.

🏛 I just called the office of the registrar at my alma mater WPUNJ because I wanted some information about registration deadlines. Afterwards, I was scrolling the web, and a story popped up from 2014.

So, five William Paterson University students are or were on trial for the alleged gang rape of a freshman female. The alleged gang rape took place on campus and in a dorm on Tuesday, November 25, 2014.

The five men that were involved all knew each other from the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF), which offers low-income students an opportunity to go to college with financial aid, preparatory classes and counseling. (Wait a second, wasn’t there just a big issue recently about systemic racism? 😢😢Immigrants and people of color don’t get the same opportunities as white people?)

Well, these five guys (no relation to the restaurant) had a golden opportunity. I told you, all that was bullshit. I can’t speak for other states, but I know for a fact, that New Jersey’s system of higher education has done an amazing job ensuring everyone has a fair and equal opportunity to get educated.

Anyway, there was another incident, but I don’t think it was related. Cherelle Locklear, a 21-year-old junior at WPUNJ committed suicide and her body was found on November 22, 2015. Supposedly, she was raped at an off-campus fraternity house, and her allegations were never investigated. William Paterson University took blame for failing to investigate and paid her family $800,000.

Damn! This isn’t the William Paterson I remember. WTF WPU! Seriously though, this is a shame. I can’t believe it.

🤓I’m gonna drop some real knowledge on y’all. I was totally indoctrinated by the college educational system, and especially because I was a teacher. I believed everything. They used to tell us that inner-city school students are way behind because there’s no money to get them the tools they need to be successful and compete with schools in higher income areas. I was on board with everything-fighting for my students. I was so gung-ho.

And then I get into the classroom, and see students throwing scientific calculators worth hundreds of dollars at the floor and walls. Literally, trying to break them.

And I just sat there for a brief moment watching this, and to myself, I’m like, “wow, if you only knew how hard people fight to get you the shit you need, and here you are trying to break a calculator your parents would have to work two weeks to pay for.”

Case in point-Don’t believe the hype!

Second Case in point-In order for schools to be successful, the students have to be successful, and money has nothing to do with it. The best schools are those where parents, teachers, and administrators have found a middle ground-all coming together, working in unison for the betterment of the child. And of course, once the student sees this cooperation between teachers and parents, their behavior miraculously changes.

Alright my friends, have a wonderful night and a blessed Wednesday. Stay warm!

Nooz Now

Hello and Good Evening! It will be Wednesday, the 24th day of February tomorrow. That means we have one more week, and February is caput. February always goes so fast; my birthday, Valentines Day, Black History Month, yup, it all goes on in the month of February. We’ve had quite a winter-at least here on the East Coast. We’ve had snow fall every Monday for this entire month, but guess what? There’s only one more month of winter! Spring is right around the corner.

On the 18th, the sun quietly crept into Pisces, so it’s officially Pisces season. Those water signs can be emotional can’t they? There’s lots of stuff going on right now. I just wrote about NASA and their Artemis Plan, which maps out a timely schedule for our return to the moon. The weather in Texas has been horrific, but I think they’re in recovery now. There’s a lot of work in Texas-especially for trades like plumbers and electricians.

I just read in the online publication, Buenos Aires Times, there were prison riots in Ecuador that left 62 people dead. That’s a lot people. Eventually, the military was deployed to help guards reclaim their institutions.

Tiger Woods was in a terrible car accident, and Drew Barrymore is opening up about she spent 18 months in a psychiatric hospital when she was 13.

How are you guys doing? I just found out today my new book, Smorgasbord, is being sold now on the Barnes & Noble website (paperback). I knew that was going to happen eventually, but I didn’t have an exact date. I think the e-book version will be available in three weeks-I’ll keep you updated on that.

I’d like to thank and welcome all the new followers here at Nooz Buffet. You’re loved and appreciated. We’ve been on the web since 2018, and we’re looking forward to an amazing future. If you have any questions or comments write in. We love the open dialogue with our readers.

Have a good night everyone.
