Good Afternoon everyone! Welcome to the October 9, 2022 Edition of Nooz Now, I’m your host Francis Joseph LaManna.

🌍Let’s see; we have north and south of the equator, Tropic of Cancer, Tropic of Capricorn, North Pole, South Pole, and the Eastern and Western Hemispheres. With all this division is it actually possible to measure global climate? In order for global warming to be a thing, we’d have to be able to get a single temperature for our entire planet, and that my friends, is just not possible.

🏈Yesterday in NCAA Football, (8)Tennessee beat (25)LSU 40-13, (18)UCLA beat (11)Utah 42-32, unranked Arizona State beat (21)Washington 45-38, and Clemson, Syracuse, Oklahoma State, TCU, Michigan, Penn State, Ohio State, Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia all remain unbeaten!

📗You can still win a free copy of my first book, Smorgasbord A Collection of Thoughts Experiences and Stories. All you have to do is guess the magical number; it can be any number from 1 to 99 and 44, 2, 55, 30, and 64, have all been incorrect guesses. Well, I’m waiting..

🧙‍♂️Edgar Cayce, the Seeping Prophet, wrote about a special case known as, The Witch-ducking Case in his collection on reincarnation. The focus of his reading was a woman named Moira Schaeffer, a 33-year old struggling artist who was invited to a Greenwich Village party to meet like-minded people who could help her further her career. After the party she returned home in a state of traumatic shock, which eventually led to self-inflicted violence. It actually got so bad she had to be institutionalized-confinement for insanity. During her time there she used to cry out in terror that someone was trying to hurt her, and that she would be visited again by “the man with the black umbrella.”

(Getting off track for a moment here, I think this black umbrella thing is extremely interesting because there were people out in the streets during the George Floyd riots carrying black umbrellas, and that video that was taken of the JFK assassination shows a strange man standing on the sidewalk holding a black umbrella)

Now, back to Moira. So, she was having these episodes while institutionalized, crying out about a man with a black umbrella coming for her. Well, Cayce’s reading, or past life regression reading took her all the way back to New England during the time of the witch hunts. Cayce found that her name during that life was Mana Smyrth, and she was brought to the prisoner’s dock for having some talent as a clairvoyant. Her sentence was considered light as she was condemned to a series of public witch-duckings.

Sometimes these duckings were brutal and often led to drowning, but Mana survived. In fact, she emerged from this situation bitter and vengeful. The intensity of this woman’s hatred and anger for those who reprimanded her was so strong that it carried over into her current life and prevented her from making positive gains in the present moment. By not forgiving her enemies, she was caught in the karmic laws of cause and effect.

It took a lot, but eventually Moira was restored to sanity and got her health back.

This was an amazing story, and I thought you’d find it interesting. I can’t believe woman were being killed, burned, and publicly embarrassed for having a sixth sense or quite naturally, a connection to their source. They were called witches and this was the continuation of the suppression and oppression of the Divine Feminine energy, which began around the time of 325 AD with the Council of Nicaea.

💡I learned something yesterday from listening to Alan Watts. If you felt over sensitive, like every little thing catches your attention, and you seem to notice things people around don’t seem to notice, it’s because you’ve taken yourself deep into self-isolation. This is what occurs when we become hermits. Watts talked about people retreating and seeking silence and solitude so they can go within to find answers about themselves they couldn’t find out in the world. He said you can go so deep, an he’s absolutely right, that if you went into the woods you would notice the animal’s attention on you. You would discover even in your deepest isolation, you would still be apart of a community, it wouldn’t be a human community, but it would be a community.

This is true. And listening to him explain this was comforting. It was good news. So, if this is you and you’re reaching the life of a hermit, and you’re noticing all this weird stuff going on, you’re not crazy and there’s a way back out of it. All you have to do is reintegrate yourself back into society.

Alright my friends, thank you for visiting Nooz Buffet. Enjoy your Sunday!

Friends, Followers, and Fans; Welcome!

😮There is no direct correlation between the suicide death of Bed Bath & Beyond CFO, Gustavo Anal, and the fact that BB&B has been going through financial difficulties. BB&B has just laid off 20% of their corporate employees and closed a multitude of stores across the country. It’s a shame. Just when you think your life is bad, here goes someone jumping off a building.

🌔Tonight’s waxing gibbous moon will be in the astrological sign Capricorn. Capricorn is an earth sign that embodies persistence. The methodical nature of the moon combines with Capricorn’s consistency and we’re bestowed that-exactly what we need to analyze and make sense of what the moon shows us in four days when it culminates.

🌞The astrological sun as most of us know, is in Virgo, but astronomically, the earth’s sun is still in Leo. The sun transits constellation Leo for 37 days!

👮‍♂️Police in Memphis just found a body that could be that of a woman abducted 3 days ago. While Eliza Fletcher, a 34-year-old woman, was jogging at 4 AM several days ago in the Memphis area, a man got out of a black SUV and chased after her. When the man caught up to Fletcher, he grabbed her and threw her into the SUV. The investigation at this time is ongoing, and there’s no confirmation that the body just discovered is that of Fletcher. Eliza Fletcher was a teacher and a mother of two.

🪐It was just discovered that frozen planets like Neptune and Uranus experience some type of precipitation in the form of diamonds! Diamond rain!? Interesting.

🏈An ESPN analyst is already making the claim that Ohio State University is the best team in all of college football. Can you possibly make that claim after only one week of play? Of course not. Personally, I’ve been a Buckeye fan since the days of Orlando Pace, Eddie George, and Andy Katzenmoyer. Katzenmoyer’s NFL career was cut short because of a neck injury. I would’ve loved to see him in the NFL for another 10 or so years. Oh well.

👋Comedian Dave Chappell added his two cents concerning “The Slap”. The Slap was the incident between Will Smith and Chris Rock on stage at the Oscars. According to Chappell, Will Smith finally showed the world who he was. For thirty years, he presented the image of perfection to the world, and when he slapped Chris Rock, he torn that mask off and showed that he’s as ugly as the rest of us.

That’s an interesting way of putting it. 🤣

Have a great day.

Currently, the moon is on the 7th degree of Leo in the 7th house. Tonight is the night, it’s Friday, and the crest is lit up at 8%. Take action now! The 7th house deals with partnerships and marriages, so if you were ever planning on proposing, tonight would be best and most favorable night to do just that. Leo is a sign known for its flair, and he can’t help but to be noticed. When it comes to matters of heart and love, talk about what’s on your mind. Don’t be afraid to be yourself, and make sure you get your point across. All of those plans and ideas you were hiding, Leo is there to help you manifest them in exciting and fun ways. He’s all about creativity, self-expression, and short term pleasure. If things are getting dull in the bedroom, spice it up tonight. Ladies, tonight’s the night to bring out that sexy negligee. It’s all about self-expression, so be you in way that rejuvenates a faded connection. If you’ve been on the fence about a partnership or a relationship, be it a friend or a lover, and you’ve convinced yourself to give your best shot one last time, the universe has answered your prayers. Have fun, laugh, and enjoy. Leo rules the back and the spine as well as the heart. A good birthday gift right now would be a gift certificate for a massage. A deep penetrating back rub always makes us feel better, and that’s what this is about. Bringing creativity and pleasure to our relationships. Lucky numbers are 8 and 9.

🎬There’s a new Predator movie coming out. It’s called Prey: Predator 5, and the trailer was just released on YouTube in June. Check it out!!

🏈NCAA- What!?! That’s right, after a century, USC and UCLA are leaving the Pac-12 for the Big Ten.

💥Today is June 1st, and the 4th of July is in three more days. Independence Day falls on a Monday this year. There are only 184 days left in 2022, and if take the first letter from July, August, September, October, and November, it spells JASON. I hope it’s not Voorhees 🔪!

🛸- According to NUFORC, the latest unidentified flying object report in the state of Pennsylvania comes from Irwin. On June 21st at 6:45 AM someone reported seeing a white and silvery colored craft in the sky. It had an aura or a haze around it as well, and it was in the shape of a cross. This craft moved at different speeds for roughly 15 seconds. It doesn’t say where it went or how it left the scene.

📘- I just finished writing my third book, Smorgasbord 3 Poverty & Prophecy. I’ll probably take an extra month to edit it and tighten it up before submitting it.

Alright Everyone. Have a wonderful night and a blessed day tomorrow.

Thank you for visiting Nooz Buffet.

🏀NCAA-The Virginia Tech Hokies defeated the No. 2 Ranked Fighting Irish of Notre Dame in the ACC Tournament yesterday, 87-80.

🏈NCAA- Georgia’s QB, J.T. Daniels, is visiting Oregon State today. Daniels told sources he won’t make a final decision on transferring until the spring.

🏀NBA- Joel Embiid scored 27 points and had 12 rebounds, but that wasn’t enough as the 76ers lost by 29 to the Nets last night, 129-100. This was also the night marking the return of Ben Simmons.

🎬The Dutchess (2008)- This was a movie starring Keira Knightly, Ralph Fiennes, Haley Atwell, and (my personal favorite) Dominic Copper, who played Jesse Custer in the show Preacher. I just saw this the other night; it was excellent. You know movies are good when they draw a reaction out of you, and I must say, the marriage between the characters played by Knightly and Fiennes was a little infuriating. That’s all I’m saying; check it out!

📗-I just purchased a book yesterday, and the title isn’t really important. When I opened the inside cover and flipped to the Acknowledgements, this “author” gave thanks to someone who contributed knowledge and expertise to her book, an editor, a contributor, collaborator, another editor, and then someone who added detail. (I mean did she even write the book?) I don’t know, that seems like a lot of people.

Also, I wanted to share this. Someone questioned me about being an author recently, they thought writing a book should come later in life after a big accomplishment has been made. And I said to that person, those people who usually come out with books after a successful career in some area, are not writers. Someone writes those books for them. It’s different if your career is writing.

Case in point, if writing is your thing, write away! And a big major shout out to all the true creators out there who’ve found their creative outlet as a writer! Transferring thoughts to paper in a clear and concise way is not easy.

🔥✍Smorgasbord 2 Catch Up and Relish went into print yesterday, and I should be receiving my personal copies within four weeks. If it looks good, and I approve, it will be available for purchase a week from then, so even though I still haven’t received that expedited release date yet, I’m going to say sometime in April!

NCAA Football Week 4 Recap

(12)North Carolina 31 Syracuse 6

The 12th ranked Tar Heels beat Syracuse this past weekend, 31-6. Syracuse hung in there until around the 3rd quarter, and they actually missed a field goal with :05 left in the second quarter, which would’ve made it a 7-6 ball game at halftime. North Carolina RB, Michael Carter averaged 11.1 yards per carry, but teammate Javonte Williams scored the points. Williams rushed for 57 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries.

(2)Alabama Crimson Tide 38 Missouri Tigers 19

Alabama (1-0) looked impressive in their game against Missouri. QB Mac Jones threw for 249 yards and 2 touchdowns to WR, Jaylen Waddle. DB Daniel Wright led the defensive in tackles with 11. This game was never even close as Bama was ahead 35-6 at the start of the 4th quarter. Yes, they played like the number two team in the nation.

(17)Oklahoma State 27 West Virginia 13

West Virginia and Oklahoma State came into this game with one win and zero loses, and when the first quarter ended without either team scoring, the Mountaineers hopes for upsetting the 17th ranked Cowboys were high. Oklahoma scored first in the second quarter when RB La’Darren Brown busted one up the middle for a 66-yard touchdown, and the Cowboys never looked back. On the following drive, West Virginia QB Jarret Doege dropped back to pass, but he was hit and fumbled. Oklahoma picked up the ball and scored, and it was 14-0 that fast. The Mountaineers couldn’t stop Oklahoma’s ground game as Brown and Chuba Hubbard both rushed for over 100 yards; they both also scored touchdowns.

Are you excited about this college football season?

Write in, and let’s talk about it.

Alright everyone, have a wonderful day.
