Thank you for visiting Nooz Buffet, and welcome to this December 11, 2023 edition of Nooz Now.

🚓 Derek Chauvin, the Minneapolis police officer charged with the 2020 killing of George Floyd was stabbed 22 times in prison. Now, I have an issue with this. Prisons are supposed to be places of rehabilitation.

If you’re accused of committing a crime or breaking the law, and you get arrested, you’re supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. If you’re found guilty in a court of law and your sentence involves prison time, then you’re admitted into a correctional facility. If you get murdered or assaulted while in a prison, then whoever is in charged of that facility should be legally responsible. A prison is supposed to be a place of reform, but how can a prisoner do his time and heal himself if he or she has to fight for their lives?

What’s the difference between vigilante justice, a person getting attacked while still living free in society by an angry person or a mob for the crimes they committed, and a person getting attacked in a prison by another prisoner or a mob for the crimes they committed?

It’s either violence, or it’s the law and the court system. It can’t be both, and for that, the system should be responsible for anyone’s safety who enters their facilities.

😠 Three weeks ago, Hassan Campbell went live on YouTube and made a video that I guess was outside of the apartments he grew up in. There was no evidence of Campbell being shot on the video, but the video ends with him driving to the hospital. This video got a ton of reactions, and I’m not disputing whether or not he was shot, I’m looking at the bigger picture here.

I haven’t been following his whole story, but from the video, Campbell says that he and many other children from his neighborhood were raped by rapper and DJ, Afrika Bambaataa. Campbell was definitely upset, and he clearly states the reasons why in his video. When I saw that video for the first time today, I saw a person yelling out for help. He’s obviously dealing with some very traumatic childhood experiences, and personally, I’m all about healing the inner child.

I just wrote an article on here not long ago about my own healing, and as adults, we forget what it felt like to be a child. We can move forward from those early experiences in life, and we can file them away deep in our subconscious, but that doesn’t always mean the issues are resolved.

From a spiritual perspective, his healing involves inner-child work, and the only way to heal the inner child is to regress until you come face to face with the innocent and scared younger version of yourself. Forgive the younger version of you, tell him he is loved, and tell him he’s safe now.

For Campbell, I suggest he purchase any of the books written about the wounds of Chiron. That’s a good start. I know Campbell’s birthday is August 3, 1976, but I haven’t taken a look at his personal astrology.

What I do know is that he’s 47 years old, his natal Chiron was in Taurus (that will reveal a lot), and Chiron will be completing its first orbit in Hassan’s chart in three years, which makes a lot of sense now that all of this news is coming out about his experiences as a child.

Have a blessed day, and thank you for visiting Nooz Buffet.
