Third Time’s a Charm?

Unfortunately, my most recent manuscript and last installment of the Smorgasbord series, Smorgasbord 3 Poverty & Prophecy, has been declined for publication by two publishing companies.

They say third time’s a charm, so I remain hopeful. Smorgasbord 3 is the most extensive and lengthy of the three books. At 60,000 words, it would probably be about a 250-page book, but I’ve always been about the quality. It’s packed with great content including a seventy plus page astrological analysis of the J.F.K assassination.

My work breaks the mold, so I understand why publishing houses are refusing to touch it.

Also, I’ve been getting a lot of requests to clarify the lunar phases, so I’ll do that now.

Basically, it goes like this:

Example:

January 1st- New Moon

January 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th- Waxing Crescent

January 9th- First quarter

January 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th- Waxing Gibbous

January 16th- Full Moon

January 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd- Waning Gibbous

January 23rd- Last Quarter

January 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th- Waning Crescent

January 31st- New Moon

Waxing means the Moon is working its way to full, and the waning phases occur after the full moon or culmination point. There are always 7 nights of the crescent phase, waxing or waning, and there are always 6 nights of the gibbous phase, waxing or waning.

New Moon, Waxing Crescent, First Quarter, Waxing Gibbous, Full Moon, Waning Gibbous, Last Quarter, Waning Crescent, New Moon.
