Ascension

On the ground,
I was found.
The sky was red,
and on a cliff of rocky mountain bed,
Stood this figure.

It was all black,
Without features,
and although he was on land,
he wasn't one of earth's creatures.

I rose up and ascended,
and I saw from the side,
a view of our earth so splendid.

I kept rising,
And witnessed a play,
as mother and child,
held hands dancing away.

Round and around,
they danced with hands locked.
Laughter and fun,
and it's not here I stopped.
