Uranus Offset in Opposition to Sun

November 29, 2025

This evening, at approximately 9:30 E.T., there will be an opposition between the Sun in Sagitarius in the Fourth House and Uranus in Taurus in the Tenth House. Usually, when there’s an opposition involving two planets, the planets are stationed in signs that naturally oppose one another, so this opposition is a little unique.

For example, it’s more common to see an opposition between a planet in Sagittarius and another planet in Gemini, or an opposition between a planet in Taurus and another planet in Scorpio because Scorpio and Taurus are set in natural opposition, and Sagittarius and Gemini are set in natural opposition.

In this situation, we have Uranus going retrograde and cycling back through the last third of Taurus before going direct and heading in Gemini, and our Sun, which is still early in its transit through Sagittarius.

They say that oppositions can be the cause of sad or highly emotional situations where we must make a choice and let something go, but I know from personal experience that sometimes, oppositions could just require balance.

In astrology, the Sun can represent a lot of things pertaining to who we are like personality, vitality, and creativity, but most importantly, the Sun hints to will power-our ability to press forward and live life. It’s our purpose and our destiny.

I can see this situation with the Sun in Sagittarius in the Fourth House as clear as day. Sagittarius is such an active, energetic, and adventurous sign, and having the Sun there, there’s a strong pull or desire to “to get out there” and experience all that life has to offer. We want to have fun, meet new people, and throw caution to the wind, however, responsibility seems to have us chained to the Fourth House of Home.

So, we press on, and we will it forward. We play it safe and we tend to our responsibilities partly because it just what we do as mature adults and partly because we fear the unknown.

Sitting in opposition to the Sun is Uranus, and Uranus is shock and awe. It’s the planet of awakening, the unexpected, transformation, lightening, flashes of insight, and like the Sun, a bunch of other stuff.

If we just look at where Uranus is in its orbit around the zodiac, it’s really enough to fill in the other side of this situation. Uranus is cycling back through Taurus before moving on, so we have this buildup of energy that’s literally about endings and new beginnings.

Sometimes in life, no matter how hard we try to press forward, tend to our responsibilities, and play it safe, things happen that are beyond our control. That’s Uranus. It’s that sudden event that causes our lives to immediately go in a direction we never expected.

I know exactly what your next question is? What might that event be? Lol, well, it could be any number of things. How about this one. We have Uranus, the Tenth House and the border of Gemini and Taurus highlighted, so, maybe someone does something to you at work that really upsets you. You decide to confront this person to see what his problem is, and all of a sudden, a simple question goes from talking to arguing and then to throwing punches.

Both of you get fired, and this day that started out so perfectly ended with you losing your job three weeks before Christmas.

LOL, yeah. It could play out this way for sure, but I’m not going to go through all the scenarios today. I just wanted to talk to you guys about the alignment and energies.

Depending on how strong and important our personal destinies are right now, Uranus in the Tenth House might be enough to break those chains, and if that is the case, it’s best to just go with the flow. Life has a natural flow to it, and the harder we resist and fight, the more it’s going to take to get us on the right track.

The 29th degree of Taurus talks about respecting the viewpoints of others, uncovering new dimensions in life, and about how the subconscious mind holds as many secrets as ocean depths. Well, through the Uranus awakening, information gets moved to the awakened mind from the subconscious mind. All indicators point to a conflict between what we’re doing, which is what we think we should be doing, and what our higher self is actually calling us to do.

And that my friends, is destiny.

Have a wonderful night!
