November 15, 2024
Good afternoon, and welcome. There will be a full moon Friday night, November 15th, and it will be in the astrological sign of The Bull. If you remember, this lunar cycle began on November 1st, the day after Halloween, with a new moon in Scorpio.
Naturally, Taurus rules the Second House, and the Second House deals with personal possessions. Scorpio and Taurus are polar opposites, so as this lunar cycle began in Scorpio and will be culminating in Taurus, I’d like to take a look at this feminine polarity.
The polarity is feminine, so we’re dealing with receptive energy; how we deal with, how we internalize, and how we react. Both signs are fixed also, so the other thing different is the element they represent. Taurus is fixed earth, and Scorpio is fixed water.
Between the 1st and the 15th we could’ve been dealing with and experiencing a lot of stubborn energy. The fixed quality can be extremely resistant to change and unwilling to consider the opinions or thoughts of others.
Now, fixed is not all that bad. When we believe in something that we know is true, the fixed quality gives us the ability to stand our ground, follow through, and not be deterred.
So, there’s a balance that we must find.
For starters, remember, we’re dealing with earth and water, two feminine qualities. We’re not dealing with fire and air (masculine), so I want you to think nonconfrontational here, and I know that can be difficult because the signs are fixed, and fixed signs have the ability to pull us to extremes.

This is delicate energy. From the standpoint of houses involved, we’re dealing with the Second House and the Eighth House. The Second House represents your personal possessions-things that belong to you, and things you’ve acquired. The Eight House deals with other people’s money, other people’s property, and legacies and wills.
With the house polarity, we find ourselves in a situation where we may want what belongs to someone else, but the truth is that we have no right to it. We truly must accept this situation for what it is, take it as a lesson, let it motivate you, and move forward.
Scorpio can also be a passionate and self-motivating sign, so we may want to draw on this energy like an artist would a muse. This is a good thing, and it’s a fantastic example on how to use someone or something else to get what we want.
But remember, when you’re dealing with anything that belongs to someone else, you have to grateful and appreciative for whatever they allow. Taurus seeks security, and once Taurus gets comfortable and familiar with her surroundings, its hard to deter her. This is part of the challenge when it comes to balancing this polarity.
This full moon in Taurus on the 15th should reveal valuable information on how to begin acquiring for ourselves. We began in the house of other people’s money and property, so as we get into our own house of money and possessions, we should have a pretty good idea concerning the things we want and the best ways of going about it.
This polarity deepens a bit because we have to consider the ruling planets, and this is where we get to the heart of the matter. Venus rules Taurus, and Pluto rules Scorpio. It can be difficult to let something go when we love it, and Pluto, The God of Encountering Emotions, has us feeling that emotional attachment that loving something can cause.
Again, walking away is easier said that done. When we feel a certain way about something, we might be completely closed off to hearing anything that conflicts with our beliefs.
Keep this in mind, you came into this world with nothing, and sometimes the faith you have in better tomorrow might be the only thing you need in your Second House. Tomorrow is a new day with new opportunities, and life is a journey. We’re all on different paths, but once you can identify your path in life, identifying what belongs to you becomes easier.
When you take something that doesn’t belong to you, you create negative karma for yourself, and your behavior will be punished. When you refuse to leave someone’s house when they want you out, you’re ultimately delaying your life.
This full moon should reveal information and ideas about staying staying in flow, and going with the energy that makes you feel good. Taurus is an earth sign, and the earth quality is about sensuality and the five senses we use to explore and experience life.
Stay away from the things that are hurting you physically and emotionally. Love shouldn’t hurt, it shouldn’t be painful, and it shouldn’t be hard. It should just be.
Taurus appears to be a big and frightening creature that will run your ass over, and there’s a saying, “If you mess with the Bull, you’re gonna get the horns.”
Live and let live.
Taurus is warm and loving, and she knows how to enjoy life. All she wants is a place to call home, and once she gets that, she can begin building a life full of love and beauty.
I want you to go into your Second House on the 15th, and look at what’s there. Let the light of this full moon guide the way towards a Second House that you can be proud of if you’re not already. If you are proud, then bask under the light of the full moon and reflect.
The way forward becomes clearer on November 15th, so pay attention and put a plan in place that you can begin at the start of the next lunar cycle.
