After thinking about it, I’m not sure how a day of celebration could be enough for the women who have given us a place in the world. That’s a very deep way of thinking about it, but it’s the truth, and as time passes and we get older, we grow further apart from that special woman.
This Sunday, May 14th is Mothers Day, and I hope you all enjoy this very special day as it is yours. Thank you for coddling and nurturing us as babies. Thank you for teaching us how to walk and providing us with a safe haven to feel secure in.
Thank you for dealing with us when we were grouchy, miserable, and lost during our teenage years. Thank you especially for not forgetting us now that we’re adults and all grown up.
As a mothers love for a son or daughter remains in the years of our innocence, we will always be your baby despite how old we get, and for that, you are and will always be loved.
