I was thinking about this the other day, and really, it’s because of where I’m at in the Smorgasbord series. Wait? What? 🤣 I know what you’re thinking. When did Smorgasbord become a series?
Most of you who follow along with this blog know I wrote my first book during the spring of 2020, which was then published and available for purchase in I think March of 2021. Well, as soon as I finished writing A Collection of Thoughts Experiences and Stories, I wrote the sequel, Smorgasbord 2 Catch Up and Relish.
Smorgasbord 2 is going through the publication process as we speak, and we could be looking at a finished product available for purchase within a month or two. I will have a release date for you, something I never got for the first book, and I should have that soon.
As I’m sitting here now writing Smorgasbord 3, I started thinking about all three as a series. I don’t want to give to much away, but you’ll understand what I’m talking about when you pick up the second book. What I will say is that I’ve written them so that if I ever decided to create one big book they would all fit together.
Smorgasbord has sections I, II, and III. Smorgasbord 2 has sections IV, V, VI, and Smorgasbord 3 will have VII, VIII, and IX. I don’t like to talk about myself or my work, I leave the reviews and the analysis to all of you, and part of the reason for that is because I think everyone who reads my work will get something personal out of it, and I don’t want to persuade or compromise that in any way.
But from what I can see, Smorgasbord is becoming a series or a collection, and by the time you read the third book, you’ll notice the journey.
It’s a journey we’ll have been on together for probably three or four years by that time as we continue making sense of our lives and the world around us.
Nice post
