Over time, symbols take on new meanings, which depends on what the people who use them do while using them.
For example, we all know about the Holocaust. We associate the Swastika with Hitler, and the Star of David with the Jewish people.

Over time, the human race has de-evolved and drifted further from source. Both males and females alike lost the balance and unification of female and male energies within.
