Dear beloved, good evening! Welcome, and thank you for visiting Nooz Buffet. Ermias Joseph Asghedom, aka, Nipsey Hussle, was a rapper, a song writer, and he was even starting to do some acting before his life was cut short.
I never listened to Nipsey’s music, but after his death, I did watch some videos of him that were surfacing on YouTube-some provided random content, and I think some were interviews. I didn’t know Nipsey Hussle personally, and I don’t know what life was like for him on the street, but from the little bit of footage I did watch, Nipsey was well-spoken and intelligent.
Nipsey’s birthday is coming up in three more days, and on Friday, August 15th, he would’ve been celebrating his 40th birthday. On March 31, 2019, at approximately 3:18 p.m., Nipsey was murdered in the parking lot of his clothing store, Marathon Clothing in Los Angeles, California.
He was shot ten times and then kicked in the head (that’s really personal). Hussle was taken to the hospital where he died almost a half hour later. He was 33-years-old.
Now, the name of the man who shot him was Eric Holder Jr., and immediately, I said to myself, “Holy shit! Is this guy related to the United States Attorney General, Eric Holder?”
The internet said there’s no connection, but I think they look awfully similar. Was the murder of Nipsey Hussle a massive conspiracy involving a relative of a United States Attorney General? If it was true, the internet and the mainstream news would never come right out and tell us, but it’s something to look into.
You might be wondering, “But, what’s the connection?”
Well, Attorney General Eric Holder was somehow involved with the illegal trafficking of guns in the United States to Mexican drug cartels, and we know of course, that Nipsey Hussle was a member of the Crips, a street gang out of Los Angeles, California, which also happens to be a place with a high Mexican gang population as well.
It’s a reach, but maybe something happened and Hussle had incriminating information on the Attorney General. Again, this is a reach, but this is called free thinking and being open-minded. Think about it.
Nipsey was a talented young rapper with ties to the streets, he had money, and his power and fame was growing. He was a rapper, a song wirter, an actor, and he was active in the community. Nipsey was murdered at 33 years-old.
Sound familiar?
Jesus was said to have been crucified at 33-years-old, and Jesus was an activist whose following was growing. When no one followed Jesus, he was dismissed as crazy and radical, but when people started to believe in him and what he was saying, he was all of a sudden seen as a threat to the government.

The Astrology of Nipsey Hussle

Ermias Joseph Asghedom, was a Leo born on the 15th day of August in 1985. I don’t have his time of birth, but I do know he was born in Los Angeles, California. Without the birth time, we can’t see where his vertical axis (MC/IC) and horizontal axis (ascendant/descendent) were set, we obviously can’t get his rising sign, and we can’t get an accurate house position for signs and planets.
It’s all good. We’ll go with what we got.

Wow! So, let’s begin this reading with the super-interesting situation going on with Neptune on the 1st degree of Capricorn (Capricorn One!)
The Sabian Symbol for the 1st degree of Capricorn reads: “An Indian Chief demanding recognition.” This falls under the subcategory of accomplishment, and it’s about claiming power. It says, “When the community security is threatened then those who can will claim a position of authority and take command.”
No doubt, Nipsey was the reincarnation of an old Indian Chief looking for recognition. In other words, he entered this life with unfinished business.
Neptune forms a sextile to Pluto in Scorpio and a trine to his Sun in Leo. The sextile is an aspect of 60 degrees and the trine is an aspect of 120 degrees-both are favorable. Neptune is the God of Spirituality, and he represents things like belief, having faith, imagination, inspiration, and creativity.
The 1st degree of Capricorn is the beginning of the winter season. The cusp line between Sagittarius and Capricorn is the winter solstice marker, so it’s helpful to think of this area as cold, dark, and lifeless (because of the winter cold nothing grows).
In terms of belief, I would imagine this to be a very tough position in one’s natal chart. In general, it would be hard growing up in an environment that’s dark and cold. As a matter fact, it wouldn’t be uncommon for the darker side of Neptune to manifest here, which is drug use and escapism.
The Sun is home in Leo, which means the Sun is very powerful in this chart. The trine connecting Nipsey’s natal Sun to Neptune means that he was blessed with great will and vitality. Even in the most difficult and harshest conditions, he had the ability to create, and he had the power to enliven or to give life to whatever he set his focus on.
Pluto is home in Scorpio, so again, we have another powerful and highly influential planet in the chart. Pluto is the Eliminator, and he is the God of Emotional Encountering. The sextile connecting Pluto to Neptune is another gift, but it’s one that requires peace, positivity, and optimism to activate.
Sextiles don’t activate in negative environments. Having said that, Nipsey had a lot of positive things going on in his life, therefore, Pluto would’ve removed anything that was or could’ve been a hindrance to his growth.
Scorpio is passionate, and through Pluto in Scorpio, Hussle, without a doubt, encountered situations and people in his life that drove him to the highest levels of fame and success. That’s the upside to Pluto. The downside is murder, violence, rioting, and things of that nature. We saw that also in Nipsey’s life. We actually got to see the extremes of Pluto, and they always say that Pluto is a source of great power that take us to the mountain top and delivers the very best of what life has to offer.
It can also bring us to the dark side, but energy is energy. It’s neither good nor bad, and honestly, it manifests in accordance with our personal karma and the work we have to do in this life. Both the trine and the sextile tell me that Neptune was right on the mark in terms of Nipsey’s soul vibration and his current destiny for this lifetime. He knew what he incarnated for. Recognition.
Also in Leo, there’s a conjunction between Mars, Mercury, and the Moon. The Moon represents our subconscious mind, it’s connected to our mood and emotional body, and in a man’s chart, it represents the mother or the wife. With Mercury conjunct the Moon, I think Nipsey had a very close relationship with his mother, and if he was married, his wife as well. Mercury would indicate open dialogue and lots of conversation and communication between them.
With Mars there, he was probably protective of the women in his life, but Leo is also meant to be warm and fun. There’s a lot of love there as Leo rules the heart.
I mentioned earlier that the Moon also represents the subconscious. Beneath the surface, Nipsey was extremely prideful (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars in Leo). We can see a person who’s stubborn, resistant to change, and unwilling to go with the flow. Leo is a kingly sign, and Leo can be regal, haughty, and at times, carry themselves like they’re too good or above and beyond the common folk around them.
With four planets in Leo, especially these four, we have a passionate and highly emotional individual. One who’s expansive, exuberant, and just big when it comes to personality and being in the spotlight.
The interesting thing here with the Moon, Mars, and Mercury, is that they form a sesquiquadrate with Neptune. The sesquiquadrate is an aspect of 135 degrees, and it’s somewhat adverse. It represents agitation or friction. We see lessons here possibly about being humble and not being so violent or ready to go to war. There might also be lessons in there involving the use of power.
Capricorn calls for patience and hard work. It likes when we’re disciplined and put our nose to the grindstone. I can see why or how a Neptune in hard working Capricorn could clash with a potentially self-centered and egotistical Leo.
Venus in Cancer indicates a person who loves deeply, and someone who’s somewhat shy or reserved in love. Nipsey protected and defended his love, and again, Venus in Cancer reveals a loving and close relationship with the mother. This is a person who enjoys and loves being at home, or in places with people that are familiar to him. Living and dying in L.A.-thats Venus in Cancer. Someone with Venus in Cancer loves their neighborhood and loves their home. This is also validated with Pluto on the 2nd degree of Scorpio.
With his South Node in Scorpio, we know that the soul of Nipsey Hussle was one that was way to used to trauma, drama, and excessive suffering. The South Node in Scorpio reveals a soul that is almost entranced by sadistic violence and attached to the darker sides of sexuality. It’s pretty dark, I’m not going to lie, but his soul mission for this life was supposed to be easy.
He was supposed to relax, calm down, and settle into some kind of comfort. This person if it’s at all possible is supposed to avoid urban areas, and get away or travel as much as possible. He was supposed to spend time with animals, and try to find simple solutions to complex problems. Taurus, which is where the North Node is, is about comfort and beauty.
I wonder if Nipsey had a chance at some point in his life to leave Los Angeles. I wonder if the opportunity was there at some point for him to just be a normal person; Ermias Joseph Asghedom instead of Nipsey Hussle.
I wonder because apparently, the soul’s mission in this life was to get away from the complexities that pulled him into drama and suffering. Knowing the answers to these questions would help me understand the psychology behind this Nodal Position, or his attachment to the darker side of Scorpio.
When someone has suffered so much and they’re given an opportunity to get out of that cycle, what would cause them to stay in it? Martin Luther King Jr. also has this nodal position.
I guess we might never know why Nipsey was shot ten times and kicked in the head, but I can guarantee you that Hussle and Holder have crossed paths before in other lives. Hopefully, next time around, the owner of this soul will go a different route. Maybe, next time around, the owner of this soul won’t be so caught up in recognition, money, fame, and power. Maybe it will just pursue a simple life, with simple pleasures, and simple solutions to complex problems.
Now that I’m thinking about it, this was probably his test in this life-the universe gave him the soul of a beast and offered him the path of domestication. It was a true test of pride.
