We’ve talked a lot about the astrological Sixth House, and we know that the energies there can manifest in our lives in any area dealing with health, wealth, work, and service, but the Sixth House is also a gateway.
Yes, that’s right. The astrological Sixth House, which is naturally ruled by Virgo and the planet Mercury, is a gateway to the Seventh House and the upper half of the chart.
This has absolutely nothing to do with this article, but..
Did you know that in geomancy, if a chart is cast and the Moon’s South Node appears in the First House, they scrap the chart and refuse to move forward with the reading? I don’t really know much about the reasoning behind that, but I do know they consider the Moon’s South Node in the First House to be bad omen. That’s all I know. Interestingly enough, when I did a little research, I discovered the Moon’s South Node in the First House of several assassination charts-Martin Luther King’s chart was one of them.
Okay, so the Lunar South Node is in the First House in our chart below, but we’re not going to scrap this chart. We’re going to move forward-bad omen and all.
Right on the descendant, we see the God of War, Mars. We know the Seventh House is the House of Partnerships, so for those of us who are ready, I feel like the Universe is giving us the go ahead to move forward with certain partnerships and friendships.
Maybe, there were certain things we needed to take care of in the Sixth House. Perhaps, some of us were feeling down, insecure, and had low self-esteem, and all of that could’ve been directly connected to how we’ve been feeling about ourselves.
We can look in mirror one day and say, “Wow, I don’t like the way I look. I really need to start dieting or exercising.” We know there’s a definite connection between the mind and the body. They work hand in hand, and if you like the way you look, you’ll feel better mentally. Also, keeping the brain and the mind functioning at high levels does require physical exercise and activity.
If you put in that work all winter, then it’s time, but even if this has nothing to do with dieting, exercising, or the way you look, you should embody the spirit Mars, and move forward with confidence.
Whatever work you’ve done in the Sixth House, well, it’s just about pay off time. It could’ve been a health issue you needed to work out, or maybe it was a spiritual issue. Mars on the descendant is letting you know that it’s time to move forward with courage and confidence.
Into the Seventh House we go, and wow! When we get there, we find a beautiful Aquarian Sun and a conjunction between Venus and the North Node in Pisces. In a relationship with the right partner now, anything is possible, and you can meet this person anywhere, so stay in the moment. It’s compassion, unconditional love, and deep-stimulating conversations as you and a partner explore levels of one another that were never touched before.
If you’ve been doubting that true love still exists, the Universe is telling you, “Nonsense.”
A square between Venus and Uranus in Taurus in the Tenth House can be an indication to expect the unexpected at work. Maybe a coworker you never expected or never imagined finally decides to open up to you.
Maybe work is the reason that a certain relationship comes to an end.

As Uranus finishes his stay in Taurus and moves closer to Gemini, the energy is going to change dramatically. We might go from a certain level of comfort and narrowmindedness to suddenly feeling a need to open up and talk about things. We might realize that life can be difficult, and while we totally value and enjoy our privacy, we realize that we can still keep that if we find people who respect us and our boundaries.
That square between Uranus and Venus indicates a definite block or issue that’s work or career related, but there’s also a lot of growth that can come from it. Approach this issue with compassion and understanding. Taurus is fixed, but Pisces is adaptable, and as the chart indicates, it would make a world of difference if we leaned towards the Pisces side.
The Seventh House Sun reveals that life, for us right now, is tied up in the relationships and partnerships we form. So, it would be a good idea to make friends, to reach out to people who can help us on certain projects, and in general, to just open up a little bit. Try to be loose and have fun instead of defensive and guarded.
We have just a little over a month left of winter, and then it’s springtime. Energetically, we’re building up to season that represents a revival of love and life, rebirth, and an explosion of personal creativity, which at the end of the day, is ruled by Aries and the Planet Mars. So there you go, right back to Mars and where we began this article.
The new moon on Tuesday, February 17th is our cue to adjust and get ourselves in flow, but with Pluto only four degrees away, there could be some situations that hit us deep and challenge us so emotionally deep that we’re triggered to act or motivated to make changes. It’s these situations occurring over the next few days that are really going to set the stage for how this spring season starts, and from what I can see, Pluto appears to be in total harmony.
On your end, all it might take is for you to choose the high road or find an environment that’s peaceful and positive. The Universe is tossing a gift our way so remain positive and go with the current.
On a final note, remember to act with courage and confidence now, especially when dealing with other people. You are good enough, and you do belong. The best way to break through the preconceived notions that people have of you is to say hello and introduce yourself. Respectfully, it’s time to get up close and personal. Don’t force it, but act when the time is right.
With the Moon’s South Node in Virgo in the First House, we’re still learning something about ourselves or learning from something that happened a long time ago. We’re still gathering facts and still investigating something that can only be brought to a conclusion with the truth. Some of us can be stuck on this, and some of us might be stuck in the past in general.
If that’s the case, the way forward is through the North Node, but the Universe won’t open that up until the karmic issues related to South Node are resolved. Take your time there. When you resolve the personal issues related to the First House of Self, the conjunction between the Moon’s North Node and Venus in the Seventh House shows a loving, caring, and compassionate relationship with the “other.”
Have a good evening.
