Moon Scope; New Moon/Sun Conjunction Illuminates Seventh House

June 14, 2026

By the time summer arrives on Sunday, June 21st, the role you play in a relationship or a partnership could either end or change drastically.

Good morning, everyone. Today is Sunday, it’s the 14th day of June, and we’re about a week away from the commencement of summer 2026. This evening, at 5:53, the lesser luminary will turn new in Gemini and conjoin the Sun in the Seventh House (with roughly three degrees of separation between them).

Gemini is a masculine mutable air sign that’s represented by the Twins, Castor and Polloux. Gemini says, “I think,” and under this Mercury ruled sign, there’s a tendency for us to do a super amount of thinking. Personally, I’m a huge fan of thinking, and even though it might piss a lot of people off, there’s nothing wrong with thinking before you act, mulling a plan over in your head before you execute it, or just plain old deep thought or contemplation.

I mean seriously, we can’t always rush, rush, rush, and we shouldn’t feel pressured by the people around us who for whatever reason, are intrigued and curious about the level of focus we might display while competing or working on a task. Do not, and I repeat, do not be afraid to ignore someone if you feel like their intrusive behavior is motivated by jealousy or spite.

The ability to focus is important. Anyone who’s a master of their craft will be in possession of a tremendous amount of focus; focus goes hand-in-hand with success because you must have the ability to block out distractions.

At the time of this new moon, you might feel some tension or have the feeling that something isn’t right or perhaps, someone is mad or upset with you. This is because there are people in your life that you deal with on a daily basis who can’t stand the mental block you activate when it’s time for you concentrate on yourself or what you’re doing. You’ll notice them in the background slamming, yelling, acting silly, and doing everything and anything they can to get your mind off of what’s important to you and on them.

They want your attention, they want to be in your head, and they want your mind focusing on them and what they’re doing even if it slows you down and puts you in an unproductive state. As close as you might be to those people, the truth is that they’re being selfish.

You might’ve entertained these people and their antics for a very long time. Time and time again you delayed what you were doing to play with them, to acknowledge them, or to validate them, but you’re reaching a breaking point. Don’t believe them when they say, “Oh, you need to lighten up.” “Oh, you need to take a break once in a while.” “Oh, you’re so busy all the time. What about me?” “I’m trying to help you.”

Someone who truly cares about you will care about what’s important to you. Instead of pulling you away from what you need to do or what you enjoy doing, they should be supporting you.

Now, as we begin to look a little deeper into this chart, we can see that both the Sun and the Moon are illuminating the Seventh House of Partnerships and Relationships. This is incredible! The Universe is trying the tell us something about some of the more significant people in our lives-these are people we have direct contact with because of the personal relationships we share them.

The Sun, in astrology, represents the ultimate life-giving force; it represents creativity, personal will, and destiny.

The Moon is a more passive and patient energy; it represents how we respond or react to people and the world around us, and it represents our emotional makeup. In the sign of Gemini, the Moon could without a doubt indicate that a lot of thinking is going on, but specifically, how we’re feeling.

Lately, a tremendous amount of time has been spent on thoughts pertaining to our feelings, and because this conjunction between the Sun and Moon is in the Seventh House, we know that these feelings have something to do with the relationships or partnerships we’ve formed with other people. They can be professional, personal, familial, marital, or business.

So, it’s not a secret. We’ve been feeling a certain way about someone, and the Sun, as it sits so close to the Moon, means that your feelings or your thoughts about how you feel, aren’t meaningless. The Sun is really validating how you feel, and it’s telling you that you’re not wrong. All of a sudden, we feel a sense of destiny, or like we must act on how we feel because we can’t live in our heads forever, we can’t afford to waste any more time sitting alone in deep thought, and we can’t continue to waste anymore mental energy.

There is no aspect connecting the Moon and Uranus, but Uranus is sitting in the Seventh House also, which means that awakening of some kind is on the horizon. When it comes to relationships and partnerships, Uranus is going to shake things up. We might actually have to come clean about how we feel because something beyond our control might force us to do so.

On the other side of the chart, Part of Fortune is sitting three degrees above the horizon line on the 21st degree of Scorpio. Usually, I don’t mention Part of Fortune, but I really believe it holds the key to what’s really going on now. A quincunx connects the Sun/Moon conjunction to Part of Fortune, and this aspect represents a hidden opportunity if we’re willing to take our time and exert a little effort.

The Sabian Symbol description for the 21st degree of Scorpio reads as so:

A Soldier Derelict in His Duty. This is about conscientious objection, and it says, “Sometimes we must follow our conscience and face the consequences of society’s disapproval.”

Wow! This really clarifies things, and we can now see why we’ve been thinking and why we’ve been in our feelings for such a long time. We’re about to make a choice or a decision that many people aren’t going to agree with. You’re about to make a decision conscientiously (meaning with full awareness concerning the outcome or what the ramifications might be). This is about you doing what’s right for you personally.

Unbelievably, the presence of Uranus in the Seventh House has just been justified. If you aren’t forced into making a decision due to circumstances beyond your control, then the decision you decide to make is definitely going to shake things up a bit.

At the bottom of the chart, the asteroid Goddess Metis is in the Fourth House on the 9th degree of Pisces (1 degree away from the IC). People might see you as a trickster because of this decision you may or may not make, or like you fooled them in some way. You know what? Maybe you did fool them.

Maybe you agreed to something, and then suddenly had second thoughts and decided to back out. Maybe you portrayed yourself one way in the beginning, but at the end of the day, everyone around you is getting to see the person you truly are, and in no way does this doesn’t make you a bad person. It’s not like you tricked or deceived anyone intentionally.

Metis also represents wise counsel, and because she’s in the Fourth House and in the sign of Pisces conjunct the IC, the wise counsel is coming from your soul (from the depths of your being). This is absolutely amazing.

At the time of this new moon, you could make a decision or a choice that’s going to shock a lot of people. It’s going to be one that no one saw coming, and it’s going to be one that very few people might agree with, but you are truly doing what’s best for you. And you know this. You can feel it.

During some time alone, maybe in mediation, your inner voice speaks to you (Metis, Fourth House, Pisces), and suddenly, flashes of insight (Uranus) cause you to second guess something you’ve already committed yourself to.

The mutability of Gemini is blessing here because had the Moon been in one of the fixed signs to start this lunar cycle, you would’ve stayed on course. Yes, Gemini is the sign of the thinker, learning, and processing information, and yes, under the sign of Gemini we can get stuck in our heads, but when it’s all said and done, Gemini is all about self-expression.

For a very long time, the perceptions people had of us was inaccurate, but believe me, the people close to you aren’t/weren’t judging you or being prejudice towards you in any way. You showed them a side of you, and the stage was set. The rest was all assumptions.

This lunar cycle, which turns new exactly one week before the start of summer, appears to begin with a bang. I see lots of changes coming up in relationships or partnerships that are both personal and professional, and the wonderful thing about this new moon is that it begins seven days before the solstice. That means, that on Sunday, June 21st, when summer 2026 begins officially, the Moon will be in its first quarter phase.

This is perfect timing!

You’re listening to yourself, and no one else! Bravo! At first, you might be slightly down and bummed out about certain changes, but you will quickly learn that everything you decided to do or not do was for the best. Your confidence is peaking, and the energy is certainly there for you to manifest as you wish. As the summer begins, the slate is wiped clean. You’re a new person with new friends, new partners, and new contracts.

Listening to yourself and making conscious decisions has put you back in the driver seat and in full control of your life. Spiritually, an aura of that kind exudes greatness, and like magic, opportunities and people appear suddenly.

Before I wrap up this edition of Moon Scope, I’d like mention how interesting the Sabian Symbol description was for Part of Fortune in Scorpio on the 21st degree. It describes a soldier derelict in his duties; a soldier who has refused to follow orders. He made a conscious decision to follow his heart despite what everyone is going to think, or say, or do.

This is super interesting because of where Mars is. Mars is across the chart, opposite from Part of Fortune in the Sixth House of Service. The Sixth House governs any form of service be it military service or the services you might provide to a customer who’s shopping at your store. Mars is the God of War; he represents violence, fighting, and aggression.

In opposition to Part of Fortune, we have this interesting situation where me must choose between fighting, war, violence, and aggression on the Mars side, and making a conscious decision to walk away, leave, and refuse to follow orders on the Part of Fortune side.

The choice is really yours to make, but should you decide to be derelict in your duties despite what others might think of you, you’ll put yourself in harmony with Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury in the Eight House.

The Eighth House revels a deeply private situation that requires delicacy, love, a positive attitude, and good communication skills.

We mentioned the Uranus awakening in the Seventh House before, and now that we’ve peeked into the Eighth House a little bit, we can see that there’s a possibility of a sudden death, an unplanned pregnancy, or something health related that requires immediate surgery.

In terms of business, we could be looking at breach of contract, a sudden bankruptcy claim, or a mismanagement of other people’s money or property. This could be something that happens now, but it’s really the result of something that had been occurring behind the scenes or behind your back for a very long time.

Okay, everyone! Thank you for visiting Nooz Buffet, and thank you for reading this edition of Moon Scope. I hope you have a wonderful Sunday, a blessed week, and a relaxing new moon celebration.
