Friends, fans, and followers, good morning! Well, as far as shocks and surprises are concerned, week nine didn’t disappoint, that’s for sure. I felt Iowa had an advantage in this game, but a 41-3 victory was well beyond my expectations. Man, Iowa is playing good football right now.

I also thought Northwestern would overcome Nebraska, and I did not expect Washington to beat Illinois by seventeen points. All in all, at the end of the day, I guess you could say all of the big dogs kept their seat at the table. Washington, Indiana, Oregon, and Michigan won. The Hoosiers, underdogs and on the road, traveled to Eugene and beat Oregon by ten. I don’t think the Ducks had the lead once in that game.
