Neptune Meets Saturn in the Second House

June 14, 2025

The picture you see set as the featured image, which is also the same picture below, is one I drew out of boredom at least a year ago.

It’s a picture of Neptune and Saturn, and I know my hunches and premonitions are never to be dismissed, so when I saw the conjunction between the two of them yesterday, I knew the time had finally come. I had to analyze this conjunction, and you know what, I’m glad I did.

Saturn and Neptune were in the Second House in Aries on the 1st and 2nd degrees, and off in the distance almost ten degrees away was the moon’s north node in Pisces on the 22nd degree.

The alignment of these planets (sign and house) is really interesting. The Second House is one that seems to have become completely about money, but to focus on money alone would cause you to miss the other more important elements and lessons.

Think about a nation or a tribe of people, lacking hope, aggressive and on the brink of chaos, and living without direction and purpose.

Then, Mosses climbs the Mountain, and after speaking with God, Mosses returns with two tablets and twelve commandments.

These people are without money, and they don’t have a job at the local food store, but they have perhaps, the greatest gift of all, a message from God on how to live life.

Well, the Second House covers personal possessions, doesn’t it?

keep in mind the time. We’re 75 years away from the year 2100 (Aquarian Age), and we’re 51 years away from 2076 (Sedna’s reaches closest approach to sun).

Saturn will definitely limit chaos and bring order and control to a situation that has none. Saturn will reduce the bleeding.

If you have next to absolutely nothing as far as the Second House is concerned, specifically money and possessions, and it has been that way for a long time, Saturn’s conjunction with Neptune could finally bring an end to that.

And that brings me to the main point concerning the energies in the Second House. This is about survival. It’s about having the necessities to survive and live; clothing, shelter, food, and medicine when you’re sick.

What will you do if you don’t have the basic necessities? Will you steal or kill? This scenario can be a prelude to a Third House representing the true feelings of the people, but let’s not get too far ahead.

Spirituality is represented by Neptune as is our beliefs in God, a higher power, a creator, a source, aliens, extraterrestrials, extra-dimensionals, and anything else that considered “out there” and beyond.

When Saturn conjuncts Neptune in Aries in the Second House, all thoughts and beliefs can be brought into form. In other words, manifested here in the physical.

We might also see an end to drug use or alcohol if we’ve been using them as a way to escape the realities of life. Saturn conjunct Neptune will get to the bottom of and cure any issues pertaining to lack in the second house, and if you don’t have faith, you’re sure to find it now. Pisces and Aries were the signs there, so were dealing with compassion and courage.

Capricorn, which is the sign Saturn rules, is on the ascendant and rising at 15 degrees. That’s brings much more significance to this Second House conjunction.

With Capricorn on the ascendant, we can see that this is going to be a process that requires patience and steadiness, and one that could  ultimately affect our public lives-our careers and how people perceive us.

The lucky numbers for Capricorn are 2 and 8, which is absolutely amazing because it reinforces the need to balance the polarities between the Second and Eighth Houses. We are all encouraged to avoid force if possible. Let divine timing unfold, and things will fall into place. If you have a plan, stick with it, and have faith that it will all work out. An opportunity will present itself if you’ve been working towards something.

If not an opportunity, then perhaps something more important. Maybe, everything will finally begin to make sense. Maybe you’ll get the clarity you need, or the word from God, and suddenly, you can move with confidence.

Survival and having the basic necessities to live is more important than some of us might’ve considered, but that’s a point easily missed if everything has always been given to you.

Saturn is about make things real in the Second House by limiting Neptune’s ability to create illusions.

Saturday Morning, Astrological Reading

September 7, 2027

Good morning, beloved.  It’s the seventh day of September, and the Sun is halfway through its transit of Virgo.

As we see the sacred symbols, wings, chalice, Ivy, the eagle, and the fountain of youth, our awareness is stoked, and we find the Greek Goddess Hebe present in the 2nd House.

The astrological 2nd House is established as the house of personal possessions and money, and because we’ve consumed ourselves with making money and acquiring physical possessions, we sometimes lose site of other important things we can be in possession of.  Like faith, for example.

The Roman equivalent of Hebe was Juventas, and the Romans believed that Juventas was a powerful divine force rendering a vital gift of strength at a critical moment.

Now, this can be perceived as the woman or the man who suddenly gains superhuman strength and lifts a car off of an infant, but this strength can also be seen as hope, optimism, and positivity.  It can be seen as the strength to carry on and continue through life when all seems lost.

When life has lost its purpose and become pointless, and you’ve lost everything and find yourself in a lonely and dark place, Juventas represents divine intervention.  It’s that sudden spark that gives you the strength to make another go at things.

The Greeks called Hebe the Gladening Princess.  On Mount Olympus, she was a cupbearer for the Gods and Goddesses, and she represented youth and old age, forgiveness, and the prime of life.

Scorpio is the fixed water sign of passion and desire, and passionate water is an accommodating place for such a goddess.  Looking deeper into the meaning behind the 11th degree of Scorpio, we can see a message of humility as a drowning man is being rescued.

This reminds me of a hand sticking out of a grave; someone sees the individual struggle to survive and decides to reach out and offer a helping hand.

We’re finally saved!  Humble, which is the umbrella term describing the 11th through the 15th degree, is reinforced in the chart by the Moon’s Nodal axis, which is an axis of major significance in this reading because Hebe is conjunct the Moon in the 2nd House.

The South Node is in the 1st House and the North Node in the 7th House.  As the importance of self and ego fades in the background, slightly, our personal needs are better met in the company of others.  The 7th House is about marriages, partnerships, and contractual agreements.

Be thankful, and show appreciation and gratitude for being saved.  Then, remain humble as you begin to form the partnerships that will carry you forward.

This is a real blessing for those of us who are resonating with this.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Moon-Scope; Don’t Look a Gift Horse in the Mouth

April 21, 2022

🌖 Moon in ♑ Capricorn

Hello everyone! The Moon is currently in the astrological sign of Capricorn, where it will remain until tomorrow, Friday the 22nd. Without looking to see, “don’t look a gift horse in the mouth” I’m pretty sure means to not push your luck. If someone is kind enough or generous enough to give you something or do something for you, just take it and say thank you. What’s the connection? Capricorn rules goats and cloven hoofed animals-that means horses.

That being said, something unexpected my be coming your way. Don’t question where it came from, who, why, or how. Just accept it, and be on your way. Chances are, it’s well deserved. Capricorn is patient in its search for security. The Goat is also reserved, but when the time is right, she’s quick to seize the opportunity. When the Moon is in Capricorn, we sit back in a sense, and meticulously feel around for what’s pleasing to us. Problems are encountered when we finally attempt to seize what we’ve been working for and waiting on because suddenly, it’s not accessible.

For whatever reason; it’s blocked, someone’s in the way, there is no more, and so on. The lesson here is flexibility and in the balance, lies your happiness. We have to get creative, formulate new plans, and take alternate routes or ideas into consideration. One way or the other, we will get what we deserve, what’s owed, and what we’ve worked for. When the Moon’s in Capricorn we’ll figure out the smartest, most dedicated, and most disciplined ways of doing that.

Capricorn says “I USE.” When the Moon blends with Capricorn, no stone is left unturned, and every step is exhausted before the next is taken.

The 🌖Moon in ♑Capricorn in the 2nd House🏠.

When it’s 10 o’clock PM here on the east coast, it will be 7 o’clock out on the west coast, and the moon will be in Capricorn in the 2nd House. Naturally, Capricorn dwells in the 10th house, the house of public standing and career. So, lets bring the 10th house theme into the 2nd House. When the Moon blends with Capricorn the energies manifest in the arena of possessions. You will get whatever you want if you work for it in a disciplined and smart way. Saturn is involved here as the ruler of Capricorn, so you know whatever is going on involves discipline. All things in due time.

If you have been busting your ass and killing it at work, some type of recognition or reward is likely.

It’s the spring season. Usually when the spring arrives, it’s out with the old and in with the new. If you haven’t done that, it’s the perfect time to do so. Spend some time thinking about how you can bring harmony to your home. It doesn’t have to be anything extravagant either; maybe a new centerpiece, flowers, or curtains.

At work, you seek praise and honor. If you want the bosses to notice you, spend some time thinking about how you can capture their attention. Make sure you have everything you need to be successful at the work you do.

Lucky Day for Capricorn: Saturday

Lucky Numbers are 2 and 8.

On Saturday, April 23, the Moon will be in its last quarter. Tonight, it’s 71% and waning, which means the visibility of the results from the last cycle is shrinking. I might’ve started analyzing the moon when it was full, and if that’s the case then I would take away from this cycle whatever you need, let the rest go, and we’ll start fresh on the 30th when the new moon arrives in Taurus.

Good night everyone, and thanks for visiting. Smorgasbord 2 Catch Up and Relish is available for purchase in paperback form, and you can find that online at Barnes and Noble, Amazon, and almost anywhere books are sold. I think we have about another week or two until the e-book is available.

Have a blessed night and a wonderful day tomorrow.

Second House

Amongst other things, I’ve always considered astrology to be an art, and the astrologer, an artist. It’s a possibility that if you had your chart interpreted by five astrologers, you might end up with five different interpretations.

And this speaks to my reasoning for considering astrology to be an art. Art is an expression of the individual; a creative uniqueness. Every astrologer, at some point, should develop their own unique style or way of interpreting the symbolism in a chart. And that’s what makes him/her an artist.

I wouldn’t consider myself to be an astrologer at this point, but rather more of a student. So, I brought material from several sources together to compare their second house descriptions. Most sources say the second house is the house of possessions, however, one said it was the house of value, esteem, and self-worth.

In a broad sense, possessions can relate to anything we own or acquire. Money is highly stressed here also because in today’s modern society, money is one of the most important possessions we can have. As they say, you can’t wear it or eat it, but it has potential and can convert to other things.

The second house might show activities or projects that can be a source of income. We own our feelings and emotions, so they’re considered to be inner possessions. What does money mean to us? Do we care about having it? Does it matter how much we have? Are we motivated to earn it, and how do we go about that?

I think it’s a good idea to consider the sign Taurus because Taurus rules the second house, and Venus because Venus rules Taurus and is home in the second house.

When I see the “bull” that represents Taurus, it reminds me of Wall Street, and Wall St. relates to the Stock Exchange and money. Venus is the planet of love and beauty. With the involvement of Venus, we can see how emotions and feelings come into play here. There is an emotional attachment to certain personal possessions.

Now, keep in mind, the second house, like the other eleven houses, represents the area in our life certain energies will play out, which is dependent upon planets and their relationships to one another.

Taurus is a fixed earth sign, and the sun makes its way through there between April 20th and May 20th.
