Karma and Life Lessons

I don’t know if it’s because my Lifepath is 9, or what, but I really feel like my feet are being held to the fire when it comes to karmic lessons.

This whole thing starts with the realization that you, by your choices, and actions, are ultimately responsible for the development of your life.

Here I am, almost twenty years out of college, and I’ve had jobs in every field imaginable, except the one I earned a bachelor’s in.

During that twenty years I always had a reason for why that was happening, but today, finally today, I said to myself, “Football was the only reason why I went to college. Never once did think about a career or what I would do after graduation.”

So, should I be that shocked or disappointed I’ve been bouncing from one job to the next? No.

I wasn’t the greatest football player that ever played the game. I was good, I was dedicated, and I loved the game. Therefore, I did what I had to do to play, and I did what I had to do academically to remain in school so I could continue playing.

This tells me that when I make a decision to do something, I do it.

Someone said to me today, I love what I do for a living.

I said, “I do to, I just have to figure out how to get paid for doing it.”

It’s actually not football though, now it’s writing. Writing is my love and passion, but I do it in my spare time because I have to pay bills.

Enough about me though. Did you ever feel like you wanted something so bad, but unless you did something else, which is something that’s going to take real effort, you’re not going to get what you want?

It’s like, you want this, but before you can have this, that has to be done first. And you know in the back of your mind, that that has to be done, but you’re trying everything possible to avoid doing that.

And the universe is saying, “Nope. No way. Not today. Not yet. Not here. Not now.”

Lifepath 9, is not just the end of the road. It’s also the beginning of a new road.

Nothing just ends, nature is cyclical.

Are you a 9 path feeling the constant theme in your life that you can never have what you want, you can never get used to something, you can never have something to call your own, you can never get comfortable..

Well, that’s the 9. Rolling with change and embracing new beginnings, the end of a cycle that begins anew..

At some point though, we’re going to have to grab on to one of those endings, and make the new beginning our own.
