October 31, 2025
Good morning, and happy Halloween! I hope everyone’s day is safe and filled with fun, laughter, and lots of candy.
Yes, it’s true, Halloween is the main attraction right now, but some other stuff is going on as well. In keeping the Sabbat holy, many people recognize October 31st as the celebration day for Samhain. In Witchcraft and in ancient Pagan traditions, Samhain was seen as the beginning of a transitional time between death and rebirth. As the God departs and the Goddess mourns, both know he’ll be reborn at the winter solstice, or Yule.
This celebration was actually adopted by the Catholic Church, and Catholicism celebrates it with an All Hallows Eve Mass and also by recognizing the following day as All Saints Day or All Souls Day.
Now, the timing of the celebration of Samhain is incredibly important because according to Sidereal Astrology, which tracks the Sun’s actual movement through thirteen Constellations, October 31st is the very first day of our Sun’s transit through Libra. I mean, wow, right? The last day of Virgo is on October 30th, and then Libra begins on the 31st.
It’s definitely a transitional time all the way around, and I wouldn’t be surprised if in some traditions, people actually recognized October 31st as the end of summer and the first day of fall (Since we are leaving Virgo and entering Libra).
Whatever you celebrate and however you celebrate it, I do hope that everyone is enjoying this time.

I went for a walk on Wednesday, and I took this picture of the street. Lol, of course I’ve seen leaves before, but on this morning as I was turning the corner, the first thing I noticed was that the street had been entirely covered by leaves. It was such a beautiful, colorful, and vibrant display that captured the essence of the season.
I felt like a kid again, and I wanted to go running through the leaves, but my back was hurting too much.
Lol, the mind said go, but the body said no!
Alright, everyone, have a wonderful day!
