November 27, 2025
I know, it’s hard to believe, but today is Thanksgiving. There are only three days left in November, and there’s thirty-four days left in 2025. Geez! I don’t know about you, but I feel like Halloween was just yesterday. There must be some sort of time acceleration going on. 😏

When most people think about Thanksgiving, they think about food. They think about eating, drinking, and being merry. We think about loved ones, family members, friends, and the home at which we’re all gathering.
Yup, that’s Thanksgiving.
This year, however, at some point today, I’m going to detach from the clan for a half hour to be alone with my thoughts. Of all days, right?
When I hear the word Thanksgiving, words like gratitude, thankfulness, and compassion come to mind. I love eating, and the food on Thanksgiving is always fabulous, especially because I get certain dishes on Thanksgiving that I don’t get on any other day during the year (my mother makes her special stuffing), but there’s more to this day than just the food.
Look around you. Are you sharing this day with friends and family members? Perhaps, it’s just you and your pet, and you like it that way. 😂
Are you in a relationship with a partner you love very much? Think about all the things going on in your life right now. Maybe you’re in college, maybe you have a secure job with a good company, or maybe you’re finally clean and sober after a long fight with dependency and addiction.
You see, there’s lots of food and beverages on the table right now, but all of that is symbolic. Abundance is all around us, and today, on Thanksgiving, this is the perfect day to take a minute to express our gratitude for all the blessings we overlook.
Going back to those three words; I’m grateful for having friends (however few they may be), family, people who love me, and a roof over my head. I’m thankful for my health, and I feel compassion for those who might be alone with nothing to eat today, and for those who are in the hospital battling illness and disease.
Life is fast, these days seem to be passing at an accelerated pace, and with everything we have going on, we just aren’t mindful enough to stop for a minute to thank someone or to tell someone how much we love and appreciate them.
How often do we stop to communicate with a Higher Source, God, the Universe, or our Higher Selves? Well, if the answer to that question is never or not often, then maybe today is the perfect day. I mean, honestly, can you think of a better day?
Okay, let’s take a look at the astrology for today at 12 o’clock noon E.T.
With Aquarius on the horizon, the general mood is light and breezy. Friendly, talkative, and outgoing are all words that describe the Water Bearer, and that’s a really good thing for those of us who might be hosting dinner or have to entertain or be around large groups of people.
There’s a lot that we can learn about ourselves and those who we chose to spend our time with today. Personally, and spiritually, Jupiter’s presence in the Sixth House reveals that much can be gained through our service to others, but the challenge there is twofold. We must be respectful and tolerant of other people’s points of view, while demonstrating self-control, but selfless sincerity is what this day is all about.

I really love the placements of Mercury, The Messenger God of Commerce and Communication, and Venus, The Goddess of Love and Beauty at the top of the chart. Mercury and Venus are conjoined with five degrees of separation, and through Scorpio, this combination can manifest as passionate communication of some kind.
If you’ve been struggling to express yourself, the universe is on your side today. Writing a letter or sending an email to someone today could repair a relationship that you once thought was unrepairable. This could be the start of something that you’ll truly benefit from months or even years down the road.
Both Venus and Mercury form a trine with Jupiter in Cancer in the Sixth House, and that makes it easy for us to thank those who are and who have been helping us (tell your mother and father you love them), but there’s something much deeper going on here that’s really about the love and service you provide to yourself.
In the spirit of helping and giving, make sure you’re taking care of yourself.
Alright, everyone. I truly wish you a blessed day. I hope it’s filled with love, laughter, and enough comfort to help you, for at least one day, forget about the harshness of life.
