Hello and Good Evening! It will be Wednesday, the 24th day of February tomorrow. That means we have one more week, and February is caput. February always goes so fast; my birthday, Valentines Day, Black History Month, yup, it all goes on in the month of February. We’ve had quite a winter-at least here on the East Coast. We’ve had snow fall every Monday for this entire month, but guess what? There’s only one more month of winter! Spring is right around the corner.
On the 18th, the sun quietly crept into Pisces, so it’s officially Pisces season. Those water signs can be emotional can’t they? There’s lots of stuff going on right now. I just wrote about NASA and their Artemis Plan, which maps out a timely schedule for our return to the moon. The weather in Texas has been horrific, but I think they’re in recovery now. There’s a lot of work in Texas-especially for trades like plumbers and electricians.
I just read in the online publication, Buenos Aires Times, there were prison riots in Ecuador that left 62 people dead. That’s a lot people. Eventually, the military was deployed to help guards reclaim their institutions.
Tiger Woods was in a terrible car accident, and Drew Barrymore is opening up about she spent 18 months in a psychiatric hospital when she was 13.
How are you guys doing? I just found out today my new book, Smorgasbord, is being sold now on the Barnes & Noble website (paperback). I knew that was going to happen eventually, but I didn’t have an exact date. I think the e-book version will be available in three weeks-I’ll keep you updated on that.

Crackling-the wood burns.
A flame;

fanning the flames of love.
We cuddle by that fire,
we kiss in the glow,
we make love in the heat.
Outside, the snow accumulates,
Inside, our love escalates.

Another snowy day,
It’s another cold day,
but together, we melt in play.

In the Roman Catholic Church there’s a hierarchy, and the most senior members of the clergy are the Cardinals-second only to the Pope himself. It is the responsibility of the Cardinals to elect a new Pope when the Holy See is vacant-be it by death or resignation of the Pope.
Here we are, once again analyzing the meaning of the Cardinal in a different context. And as you can see, the word stays true to its Latin root-something of importance. In the world of the Catholic Church, I’d say the Cardinal is a pretty important figure. Like the bird, they also wear the colors red and black.
Four days ago we slid into this wormhole, but I didn’t anticipate a wormhole then. There’s a window behind my toilet, and I got out of bed Monday morning to use the bathroom. That’s when I was looking out of the window and saw the bird. I thought it would be a good idea to write about the bird, and all of a sudden this topic shot out in a hundred directions, and took on a life of its own. It’s now four days later, and I’m still writing about Cardinals.

If you read my post “Cardinal Quality,” you probably noticed the image of the cross. When I added that picture to the article, I knew the image obviously carried religious significance, but I was really posting it because the cardinal directions. If you look at a map or a compass, there’s usually a cross in the center of north, south, east, and west to assist in the locations of such directions. Isn’t funny though how that image of the cross would fit well in this post as well?
I also said, “This is all high level thinking,” and what I was referring to was someone had to take the time and apply “Cardinal” in all these different yet similar uses. There is a common thread here. It obviously started with the bird, but what made someone use the term cardinal as a quality for astrological signs representing the solstices and the equinoxes?
Personally speaking, February has been an important month for me. My birthday just passed, and a day later, the book I wrote became available for purchase. From a spiritually symbolic standpoint, the bird showed up at an important time so I buy into the meaning behind its symbolism.
But…
Where are we going with all this? Is there a way out of this wormhole? Can we come up with a conclusion from making these connections?
🤣I don’t know where we’re going because like I said, I didn’t anticipate a wormhole. I wanted to just write about the bird I saw. I think there’s a way out of this wormhole, but shits about to get real wormy. I think the way out is going in the opposite direction-lets think about what “cardinal” is not. Cardinal is not ordinal. In math, cardinal numbers are natural. 1, 2, 3, etc. (Natural also meaning from nature/god)
SET is the Egyptian God of Chaos, but don’t worry. There won’t be any chaos because in SET theory, we have order-as in ordinal numbers. Ordinal numbers, unlike cardinal number, are not natural. They are used to describe a way to arrange objects or describe place. For example, first or 1st, second or 2nd, third or 3rd etc. As the saying goes without order there’s chaos. (God will get angry if we’re not in order?)🤪 There’s a conflict here-I just noticed (and this is why I didn’t want to go here)
Okay, so if ordinal numbers are not cardinal then they’re also not natural. God might get upset if we’re not being good or “in order,” but it’s human nature to do what comes natural and being ordinal isn’t natural. Are we being controlled with the threat of God?
So, our way out of this wormhole is to revert back to religion and put everything in Gods hands.
You’re first, I’m second, and she’s third. SETS happy, there’s no chaos, and we live on.
Have a wonderful night! 🤣🤣

If you’ve been keeping up with the posts here on NB, you probably recall the post “Cardinalis” written a day or two ago. Cardinal comes from the Latin word meaning important, and we learned a little something about the importance of the red bird.
People from all over the world associated with many different cultures, religions, and spiritual practices have different interpretations of a cardinal when it’s spotted, but there’s one thing that cannot be changed or interpreted-the root.
Today, we’ll look at cardinal in a different context. Today, we’ll let the bird go, and turn our attention to the word.
The bird bird bird, the bird’s the word…lol! Just kidding.
Okay, astrologically speaking, the term cardinal is a quality, and it represents a quadruplicity of signs. There are 12 astrological signs, and 4 of them are cardinal. 4 are fixed, and 4 are mutable, but because of the bird, we’re going to focus on cardinal-the astrological quality.

Just to rehash, cardinal comes from the Latin word cardinalis, pertaining to a hinge; applied to that on which something turns or depends. It’s strange how all this stuff ties together, but check this out; Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn are the astrological signs that are cardinal, and yes, they’re of great importance. In the northern hemisphere, the sun passes through Aries at the spring equinox, Cancer at the summer solstice, Libra at the time of the autumn equinox, and Capricorn when the winter solstice has arrived.
Applied to that which something turns or depends? Yup! It’s the turning of the seasons, and our calendar system, and means for keeping track of real time depends on the location of these celestial markers…
which form a..

cross.
Symbolism, the human subconscious, deeper meaning-this is all high level thinking, but if we keep connecting dots and pulling at strings, perhaps, someday, all the secrets of the universe will unravel and reveal a complete picture.

Cardinal comes from the Latin Cardinalis-pertaining to a hinge; applied to that on which something turns or depends.
The number 12 is related to the cardinal as there are 12 eggs in a cardinals nest.
It symbolizes passionate romance and fierce leadership.
A cardinal rule is one of great importance; crucial and pivotal.
A cardinal number is a natural number as in zero, one, two, or three, etc.
Ina nautical sense, there are 4 cardinal directions, north, south, east, and west.
The cardinal does not migrate in the winter, it stands its ground.

Birds are free creatures. They’re messengers from heaven. If a cardinal appears to you and wakes you up out of your slumber it could be a message; a symbol. You’re at a crucial point in your life. Stand tall and weather the storm. Be on the lookout for passion and romance. Be natural and act with precision. Be a leader. I am free; free to choose, free to live, and free to be.

What’s up everyone?
The Artemis Plan is NASA’s Lunar Exploration Program Overview, and it was written in September, 2020. The document itself is 74 pages. I wanted to read through the whole thing, but I was so busy today, and I ended up skimming through it.
That’s okay though. Here are some highlights.
7 Steps between 2021 and 2024
As you can imagine, there’s a ton of information in this document, but that’s pretty much how it’s going down over the next four years. It’s going to be awesome to see all this play out.
