Divine Timing

July 19, 2026

I’m not an old man, but I’ve lived long enough to know that divine timing is real, especially when it comes to sight or vision. There are certain things that we’re not meant to see at certain times, but as time passes and we get older, there is an unfoldment of something. I don’t know exactly what that something is (some people refer to it as an unfoldment of God’s Divine Plan), but there is a correlation between us as individuals and the natural world around us.

In 2007, I was driving on a highway at about 75 or 80 miles per hour. It was a summer day between twelve in the afternoon and six o’clock in the evening. The sky was clear.

Casually, I decided to turn left and look out of my driver side window, which by the way was all the way down, and my eyes quickly locked on to the sun. For a brief second, I, without having to squint my eyes, was able to look directly into the center of the sun, and when I did, I saw a spiral. Not realizing what I just saw, I redirected my focus back on the road ahead me, but I instantly looked back (kind of like doing a double take). When I looked back, it was gone, the sun was bright as hell, and I could barely even look at it without squinting.

This is Divine Timing. For a very brief moment in time, I was meant to see that solar phenomenon, and it would never happen again.

Why?

I have no idea, but as you can imagine, that event had a deep impact on my life, and it’s really what propelled me on both my spiritual and astrological paths. 🤣 Honestly, I spent the next decade researching the meaning and usage of spirals in ancient cultures.

Here’s another interesting story. I’m a skywatcher, for sure. I don’t own a telescope or anything like that, but I definitely use the naked eye from time to time to peer into space, and I’ve been doing so with knowledge of the night sky for about as long as I’ve been studying astrology (for arguments sake, let’s say seventeen years.)

We’ll, the only constellation that was ever visible to me was Orion, and the Hunter became visible in my late twenties/early thirties.

In 2021, I saw the milky way, and it’s unmistakable when you finally see it. It looks like a huge scar. Around 2022/2023, I saw the Pleiades aka the Seven Sisters, and last year, during the summer of 2025, I was blown away.

Sitting low in the sky one night around eleven o’clock was Scorpius or the Scorpio Constellation. I couldn’t believe I saw it, and it was so clear to me that it seemed like the only cluster of stars in the sky that night.

It was beautiful and prominent, and naturally, I couldn’t help but think to myself; Why Scorpio? Why Now?

From a mythological perspective, there are many variations of a story involving this poisonous creature, but interestingly enough, they all include Orion. How about that?

“The classical myth of the Scorpion begins with the death of Orion, a beautiful young giant and a great hunter who was the son of Neptune. The story of his death is related in many versions. One is that Eos, goddess of the dawn fell in love with him and carried him away with her. Diana, the moon goddess, became jealous that Eos took a mortal lover and commanded a scorpion to kill Orion.”

-Joanna Woolfolk

It was said, “When the Scorpion rises in the summer, the brilliance of Orion fades.”

There are so many connections in my personal life that I can make between Orion and Scorpio and the timing of me seeing these constellations, but for the sake of this article, I was thinking more about the bigger picture. Does the fact that the Scorpio Constellation became visible to me during summer 2025 have any implications involving humanity, evolutionary time, or perhaps, biblical prophecy?

Scorpio is the ruling sign of the Eight House, and the Eighth House is the House of Death. Is this the beginning of the End of Days? Is it a sign hinting towards rebirth or reincarnation?

Scorpio rules the reproductive organs, so maybe, this is a sign that a certain conception must take place and a child be brought forth.

I don’t want to speculate too much, but let’s assume the mythology is correct. Let’s assume this current story of Scorpio is beginning with the death of Orion, because in all fairness, I’m just now seeing the Scorpio Constellation after a lifetime of seeing Orion. Perhaps, we are coming to end of one thing and something else is just now beginning. What those two things are, well, that will have to be deeply contemplated.

In another article, I would like to present or have ready my personal interpretation of this sighting. I know it occurred last year, but remember, we’re talking about the unfolding of events, and the unfolding doesn’t happen overnight.

In my natal chart, Scorpio occupies the Fourth House and a portion of the Fifth House. That’s 4 and 5. I was 45 when I saw Scorpio in the sky. That’s synchronicity. The Fourth House is the House of Home.

The sighting of Scorpio signifies something deeply personal to me. On a universal, cosmic, or astrological level, I’m home, and I’m ready to present this story. Together, we’re entering Eight House of Death and Rebirth, the realm of the Scorpion, and the rulership of Pluto.

See you soon!
