Inspiration; a poetic collaboration

I know we only advertised this collaboration one day in advance, but here it is:

Inspiration

By: Grace Y. Estevez & Francis Joseph LaManna

Francis

Awakened by the thunder,

And the rain,

So real-a-dream in my slumber,

Only memories remain.

Grace

Felt shaken, drenched in sweat,

Still sleeping yet awake

Try to steady my breadth

feel real, no longer fake.

Francis

Conscious reality now that I’m awake,

Brought forth from a world of dreams

Make no mistake

A spark of passion with golden beams.

Grace

Lights up my unsure mind

Then sparks within my heart

Stirred up and well defined

This moment marks the start.

Francis

An old-fashioned loose leaf canvas,

Sensational revelations in ink

Only wisdom and spark can grant this

Through artistical blends-woven in sync.

Grace

Fears cease and surrender,

Both tears and canvas dry

Inspired by splendor

To relentlessly try.

I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as we did creating it. Once again, I’d like to personally thank Grace Y. Estevez from the website Grace of the Sun. If you would like to read more of Grace’s work please visit https://graceofthesun.com/2021/05/05/gift/

Nooz Now

According to the New Testament of the Bible, Jesus was crucified by the Romans, but then rose from the dead three days later. Easter is the Christian Festival which celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Easter was celebrated this past Sunday, April 4th. Happy Easter to everyone who celebrated this sacred day. April Fools Day was Thursday, April 1st. April Fools Day is always celebrated and recognized on the first day of April. Did you play any jokes on anyone? Did you tease anyone? Did you make someone believe something, and then say APRIL FOOLS!!! LOL.

Today is Monday, April 5th. The month just started and look at all the fun we’re having. There are 30 days in April, and the first day of Spring was back in March-I think it was the 21st. For some reason, the fact that it’s Spring hasn’t sunken into my brain yet. Everyday it’s warm outside, I catch myself saying, “It’s like a beautiful Spring day out here.” LOL-one day some girl said, “Um yeah, that’s because it is the Spring.” I just played it off like yeah I know I’m just sayin’…but I didn’t! I totally didn’t realize.

Anywho…

Rapper, DMX, was just hospitalized. Since being in the hospital he was taken off life support and is now breathing on his own, but his lawyer said the situation is still serious. He was initially taken to the hospital after suffering a heart attack-he went into cardiac arrest and at this point no one is saying what the cause was-it may or may not have been caused by a drug overdose.

DMX was the bomb in the 90’s. His first album, It’s Dark and Hell is Hot came out when I was in high school. We loved it-everyone was blasting DMX in their cars and buying dogs.

Latintimes.com reported Vice President Kamala Harris has been missing for twelve days now, but don’t let the headline mislead you. If you read the article, you’ll learn that 12 days have passed since she has taken on the responsibility of dealing with the crisis at the Mexican-US border, but she hasn’t spoken officially yet. She was not kidnapped, and she did not run away.

In case you haven’t heard the wonderful and fantastic news, my new book is available for purchase. There’s a paperback version that can be purchased at both Barns & Noble and Amazon, and there’s an e-version available on Apple iTunes edition, Google Play edition, Barns & Noble Nook edition, and Amazon Kindle edition.

A lot of people don’t know this yet, but there’s a sequel! Yup! I finished writing it a little after Smorgasbord 1, and I hope to have it published before this year is over. It’s called Catch-Up & Relish Smorgasbord 2.

Have a wonderful night and a blessed Spring day tomorrow.

Wow! Lots going on. I was not in D.C. yesterday so I’m not going to comment about what happened. I would, however, like to make a few points.

🗽Voter fraud was proven in at least five states, and mainstream media recognized that by saying, “There wasn’t enough to tip the scales.” Basically, they downplayed it, but let me say this, there should never be voter fraud or rigged elections. We need more honest people in government. Now!

Second, the system of government in the United States was designed by the people, for the people. Those who are acting in government are public servants. They are elected by the citizens, therefore, it’s absolutely necessary for the people to remind them of that.

The Hill reported Federal Prosecutors brought charges against 55 people following the riot. How many people did Federal Prosecutors bring charges against in the aftermath of the George Floyd incident where we saw looting, rioting, and innocent people getting murdered. That went on for months and months. Were they setting a good example for our children? I guess we only bring the children into it when it’s Trump supporters?

I’ve been telling you lockdowns are unconstitutional. Stay at home orders are unconstitutional. The government cannot force you to close your business, wear a mask, or stay home. So, as soon as the people who are in that situation had enough, you’ll probably see another riot.

People will sit home and complain that a $600.00 stimulus check ain’t enough to live on. Duh. How many times did I tell you COVID will eventually bankrupt and destroy the middle class and the economy. Oh that’s right, but the minute you stand up and protest to go back to work, mainstream media labels you a trouble making Trump supporter.

Can’t we see what’s going on here? How long do we allow this to go on for? Well the people in D.C. yesterday had enough.

Someone left a big flag in the White House that said TREASON! Yup, that’s what happens when you take an oath to defend and protect the Constitution of the United States and then get into office and pretend it doesn’t even exist.

In other news…

💕The Lancaster County Pepperidge Farm plant is giving away free Goldfish crackers.

I haven’t been to Lancaster, Pennsylvania in at least twenty years, but the last time I went I had an amazing time. They have homemade Chicken Pie, Shoo Fly Pie, and pretty much any other kind of pie you can think of. Seriously though, it’s a nice change of pace and a good place to go if you want to relax.

🌞The weather report is saying we’re going to have a high of 41 degrees until at least next Wednesday. 41 degrees in January is absolutely amazing. The sun will be shinning for most of those days as well.

👩‍🦰Tormenting Beverly, the latest short story published right here on Table Seven, is an original work of fiction written by yours truly. It’s about a young woman in her early twenties who is kidnapped and put to sleep. When she wakes up she finds herself in an electronic maze and…well, you’ll have to read and check back if you want to know what happens to Beverly. Part 4 will be up soon.

🧙‍♀️February 2nd, for those who know or are interested in ceremonial magic, is Imbolc-a time for purification and dedication. Imbolc is considered a lesser Sabbat; the solstices and equinoxes are the big four. You should really trace the roots of religion, you’d be surprised how much of what we celebrate today is a spin-off of some old or ancient tradition. The mythology and lore is so rich-I love it.

I wanted to share something special with you. I was reading an article in a Magazine that was talking about the law of attraction and manifestation, and I want to leave you with this; you are in charge of your life. The things you read, the conversations you have, the shows you watch, the company you keep; make sure it’s all good and positive. You’re actively creating the reality you live in, and weather or not you’ve recognized it yet-it’s true. I took a break from astrology, but I was deep ten years ago. I was studying nodal points, and they said the south node is where you start or come from, and the north node is where you’re going or where you should be striving to get to. My north node is in Leo. Anyway, I put astrology away and four or five years later I started to see, in real life, all the the symbolism associated with Leo. I knew I was headed in the right direction.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday night!

Tomorrow is Friday!

Table Seven Nooz Show Available on YouTube

Several months ago we decided to do a news show to go along with the blog here at https://noozbuffet.com. For your convenience, I would love to publish the Table Seven Nooz Show right here on the blog, but apparently, there isn’t enough space for me to do that.

The show itself is coming along as I’m putting a little more effort and preparation into it. We just published the Table Seven Nooz Show Session 8,” and you can watch that now on YouTube. The Table Seven Nooz Show Session 9 will be up and available for you to watch on my YouTube page in November.

Please, like and subscribe to my YouTube page. The link is below, thank you.

315-273-1209; Extortion Scam?

Last night while I was laying in bed trying to sleep, I received a text message from 315.273.1209. The text contained personal information about myself and family, and the scammers are threatening to send people to my house and chop me up and kill me unless I send them $2,500. They sent some pretty gruesome pictures of people with blood on their faces, and they were missing body parts.

I googled the number and found a message board with a bunch of people who received similar messages from the same number. Please, write in if you received any calls or texts from this number. I’d like to know how you dealt with it.

It might be worth mentioning that a day before I received this text, a woman called my phone asking for Father Don. I don’t know if the two are related but it seems coincidental.

Breaking Patterns That Break You Down

If someone keeps telling you you’re wrong, eventually, you’re going to believe you’re wrong. If someone keeps telling you you have an attitude problem, you’re going to believe you have an attitude problem. If someone keeps telling you things about you that aren’t true, you’re going to believe them even if they’re not true. It’s conditioning, and the sad part about “conditioning” of this type is that you might not believe what these people are saying about you or to you at the moment, but overtime, these comments will wear you down. Over time, they’ll break you down. Over time you’ll lose confidence in yourself, and you’ll become a timid-hesitant person.

Why?

No one wants to be wrong. No one wants to be known as the person with the attitude. You don’t want to be perceived as the trouble maker, the bully, or the person who’s always arguing.

So you change yourself to compensate for people that are really the problem.

It’s like the husband or wife who hits their partner and says, “See, look what you made me do.”

People need to take responsibility for their own actions.

Today I walked into a store to purchase a few items. I had earbuds in and a hood on. The cashier rang up my items, and then when it was time to pay, I inserted my card into the reader. Well, he made a mistake and needed me to take my card out so he could start the transaction over. During that process, he got an attitude with me and was kind of rude. He was upset because he couldn’t get my attention immediately, and I told him he needed to talk to his customers with a little more respect.

My mother, who drove me there, tells me in the car I have a problem, and I’m always arguing. She continues to tell me that if I didn’t have a hood on or earbuds in that that wouldn’t have happened.

It doesn’t matter if I had a hood on, sunglasses on, a hat on, earbuds in, and a scarf around my face, if the cashier couldn’t get my attention immediately he should’ve been patient. Eventually, probably within seconds, I would’ve taken my earbud out and looked up wondering why the transaction didn’t go through

There’s right and wrong behavior, and we all know when we’re in the right, and when we’re in the wrong. Don’t let people tell you you’re the problem because chances are it’s the person who’s telling you that that really has the problem.

How do we break patterns that break us down? By becoming aware of them, and learning from the situations in which they occur.

Eventually, you’ll learn not to go to those people who are always putting you down or telling you have a problem. Eventually, you’ll realize that you’re behavior is 99% justified because your behavior is the response to people who are either mistreating you, or abusing you.

Now, check this out. Certain people command respect. It’s their personality. It’s the energy they put out. Even if you’re having a bad day, you’ll still treat these people with respect.

Why are you different? Because somewhere along the line you’ve become timid and hesitant. At some point, you lost your confidence and you no longer put the energy out there that commands respect. You’ve become a pushover, and that’s how people treat you.

The road back to confidence starts with you complaining a lot. Every time you encounter a situation where you’re mistreated, you’ll complain, and eventually, people will say you have a problem. You’ll learn though. You’ll learn how to swiftly respond to someone who mistreats you for no other reason than they’re having a bad day. When you reach that point you’ll stop complaining.

NCAA College Football Week 4

I know I know, I’m a little late, but I have to be honest. This whole COVID thing had me almost giving up on this NCAA college football season, but after this weekend-college football is back baby!

If you’ve been following Table Seven then you know we put in some serious work covering the NCAA college football 2019/2020 season, but here we are; it’s week 4 of the 2020 season, and the K-State Oklahoma game revived me. For the second time in two seasons, the Kansas State Wildcats upset the Oklahoma Sooners. This year the Wildcats were unranked, while Oklahoma was ranked 3rd nationally. Kansas State rallied from a 21-point deficit, and ended up winning the game by 3. The final score was 38-35.

(5)Florida 51 Mississippi 35

(13)UCF 51 East Carolina 28

(8)Auburn 29 (23) Kentucky 13

(21)Pitt 23 (24)Louisville 20

(8)Texas 63 Texas Tech 56

Mississippi State (1-0) beat LSU (0-1) today 44-34. Mississippi QB K.J. Costello was 36 for 60, and threw for…get this…623 yards and 5 touchdowns! Yes, he threw for 623 yards against the 6th ranked Tigers.

Teams in the Big 10, Mountain West, Mid-American, and Pac-12, have not yet played. It looks like we’re in for a wild season, but at least we have a season. Having said that, I do agree with teams and players that decided to opt out this season.

Alright everyone, stay tuned.
