Ortus, the Origin of Orcus

Yesterday, I posted a video sharing something shown to me by a higher power. It was the correlations between information and pictures from a book titled, Alchemy and Mysticism, written by Alexander Roob, and the planetary alignments in my astrological birth chart.

I showed and explained the scenario on the ascendant; Cancer and Leo were the two signs on the left side of my chart, and the ascendant at 1 degree 43 minutes basically split the two signs perfectly. Just about the horizon, or the ascendant line, was Orcus at 29 degrees 47 minutes in Cancer in the 12th House.

I was so excited to share that whole situation in which Orcus, was the one thing produced from two, and the two being sol and Luna, that I forgot to share something important about Orcus.

We all know the ascendant marks the eastern horizon. Whatever sign your ascendant is in is known as your rising sign, and any planet conjunct the ascendant would be considered important because they’re rising at the time of your birth.

My chart

This is a picture of my chart, and you can see Orcus on the left just above the ascendant line.

Lots of people have planets near their ascendant lines, and as a matter of fact, my brother, who’s eleven months older than I am, has Jupiter at the exact location, in the exact same sign and house.

It’s pretty crazy. Our charts are basically the same as far as sign in house placement goes. His ascendant descendant axis is 0 degree 23 minutes Leo/Aquarius, and his MC/IC is 15 degrees Aries/Libra (mine is 17 degrees).

So, lots of people have planets near their ascendant, but what makes this Orcus placement so interesting can be seen in the picture below.

Human form Divine

This picture is from the book I just mentioned, and it’s the same book where the other pictures were taken from. So, if you look to the left of this picture where the ascendant would be in an astrological chart, you’ll see the word ORTUS!

As unbelievable as it is, Orcus, the name of the planet, is derived from the Latin word Ortus.

According to Wiktionary, Ortus is defined as: 1. Having risen, of the sun or of the day, having risen, having dawned. 2. Appeared 3. Originated 4. Of living creatures, coming into existence, being born.

We can sit here and conclude that all of this is coincidental and meaningless, but at this point, I feel like doing that would be looking for reasons to not face the truth.

Nooz Now

June 11, 2023

Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well! Thank you for visiting NB and welcome to this addition of Nooz Now.

🔥The wildfires in Nova Scotia were said to be the cause for the thick haze and smell of burning wood last week on Wednesday, June 7th here in Pennsylvania, but wow! I wrote about Vesta, the Roman Goddess of Hearth and Home last week, and how Wednesday the 7th was the beginning of nine days dedicated to her. It was totally surreal; here we were on the 7th last week, and the inner sanctum of the Temple was opening. Vesta is the eternal flame, and because of that, she is often represented by a torch or a burning fire. Knowing that, to me, it really felt like an inner temple was opening with the smoky haze and smell of burning wood. Sometimes the timing of things is just incredible.

🏈Switching gears a little bit, and returning to the game I love, NFL training camp begins on June 18th. I assume all players and personnel will report that Sunday, and meeting will begin on Monday.

❤ Today is June 11th, and this is just an interesting day all the way around. From a numerology standpoint, 6+11=17/8, so, it’s an 8 day. The number 8 is associated with Jesus, and biblically, 8 represents new beginnings, which makes sense since 9 would be the end of the cycle.

Historically, June 11th has been a day of significance as well. Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Roger Sherman, and Robert R. Livingston made up the Committee of Five, a committee appointed by the Continental Congress on June 11th in 1776 to begin drafting the Declaration of Independence.

Henry VIII of England married Catherine of Aragon, in 1509, and in 1594, Phillip II recognizes the rights and privileges of the local nobles and chieftains in the Philippines. They say history repeats itself, and we see this event from 1594 resurface again in theme in 1963 as John F. Kennedy addresses Americans from the Oval Office proposing the Civil Rights At of 1964, which guaranteed equal access to public facilities, end segregation in education, and guarantee federal protection for voting rights.

Also in 1963, George Wallace, Governor of Alabama, stands in front of the auditorium doors at the University of Alabama to block the entry of two black students (Civil Rights Movement).

Famous births today; Sadie Robertson (Duck Dynasty), Kodak Black, Shia LaBeouf, Gene Wilder, and 49er great, Joe Montana.

The list on Wikipedia is extensive, go and check it out!

The last thing I wanted to mention about today’s date is that it’s the 162nd day of the year. That means we’re approaching the halfway point of the calendar year. Also, we’re ten days away from the solstice (first day of summer) on June 21st.

1️⃣2️⃣I wrote a little bit about the number 12 the other day, and I wanted to briefly recap something because I know it was confusing. The number 12 is a special number for a few very different reasons, but the other day I realized for the first time:

  1. If you multiply 12 by multiples of 25, the answer will always be in multiples of 300.
  2. Astrological significance: We all know there are 12 signs and 12 houses, but I think the multiplication of 12 by numbers 1 through 30, is important for astrology as well; by 5 equals 60 (sextile), by 6 equals 72 (quintile), by 10 equals 120 (trine), by 12 equals 144 (bi-quintile), by 15 equals 180 (opposition), and by 30 equals 360, the degrees in the zodiac circle itself.

As far as time and cycles of time are concerned, 12 becomes very important when we consider the separation between BC and AD. Our system of time was created carefully and with specific intent, and I’m not going to run down the list of correlating events and decisions, because in this case, it’s not so much about what took place over the years. The important thing to know is that there’s strength in numbers, and don’t take that in its normal context.

Numbers are powerful, energetically and harmonically, they’re powerful.

🔱Speaking of time and cycles of time, we’re coming up on another important astrological transit. I wrote about Pluto’s entry into Aquarius, that was the first, and the second, which no one seems to be talking about, is Neptune’s entry into Aries in two years. It takes approximately 165 years for Neptune to make one orbit around the Sun. The last time Neptune was in Aries was from 1861 to 1875.

I keep telling you guys we’re living during a very unique time, and the examples keep showing up. We’re fortunate, we’re going to witness 14 years of Neptune in the fire sign of Aries, which means a return to the beginning; a fresh new cycle begins anew. Neptune is the ruler of spirituality, and in the active fire sign, Aries, Neptune possesses a spirit of reformation. It will be a generation full of idealists and revolutionaries, and for those of us who have these qualities within, they’ll awaken during this transit (2025-2039). The last time Neptune was in Aries, the world was in upheaval.

Darwin introduced his theory of evolution, America was experiencing a Civil War, the Red Cross was founded, and the Theosophical Society was founded.

Okay, I want to share something important now.

I found an inconsistency with the definitions of Pluto. Pluto is popularly known as then Planet of transformation. Pluto, as most will agree, is the planet death/rebirth and transformation. It was defined this way in one of my books from the early 80s and in another from a book published in 2010, but Barbara Hand Clow, in her book, Chiron Rainbow Bridge between the inner and outer planets, defines Pluto as the ruler of emotional encountering. She defines Uranus as the ruler of transformation.

Chiron, according to Clow, is the ruler of initiation and the bridge or the way to the outer planets. Chiron allows us to access multidimensional perceptions.

The picture on the left is from her book, and it shows the majors changes occurring in our lives. On the bottom of the pyramid is the physical crises we go through during our first 30 years of life. The duration or time period for this crises coincides with the planet Saturn. Saturn makes one full trip around the zodiac in approximately 29 to 30 years, we call that a Saturn Return.

The next change involves an emotional or astral crises, and this crises occurs around 40 to 43 years of age coinciding with Uranus’s opposition to itself. It takes Uranus 84 years to make one full trip around the zodiac, so in half that time, Uranus reaches a point in your chart when it’s exactly opposite of it’s position when you were born.

The next change involves a mental crises. This, we experience around the age of 50 when Chiron makes one full tour around the zodiac and returns back to its original position at the time of your birth.

These are three major periods in our lives, and no one talks about this in the mainstream. All these periods coincide with the orbit of a planet, and there is work that must be done in between these periods. There are lessons to learn and karmic issues to resolve between each of the levels on the pyramid, so when the time comes and the planets involved reach their described positions, you’ll be ready.

Above the Chiron return is a small triangle at the top of the pyramid, this is the soul. The symbols for Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are on top of the pyramid. They are the three outer planets of higher frequencies and higher octaves, and they represent the soul. Chiron is the bridge or the way to them, and that’s available to us for the first time ever since it was spotted in 1977.

By using Chiron, we can reach the outer planets and experience their frequencies in our bodies. This isn’t easy. It’s the pinnacle of the spiritual path, and it takes work.

I really must be either blessed or just plain lucky, because I can see all of this stuff in my chart, and that’s important because my chart is basically verifying everything she says. That’s how I know all this stuff is true, I can see it in my chart.

For example, she said in her book the mythology of Chiron describes him as a sacred warrior and protector of the divine feminine. I haven’t seen that information anywhere. Well, in my chart, I have Chiron and Vesta conjunct in Taurus in the 10th House at the top of my chart. Chiron is 9 degrees, and Vesta is 10 degrees. I mean yeah, you could say Chiron was a protector of the divine feminine by looking at the placement of the symbols in my chart, so once again, she’s accurate.

And I know I’m precisely on point because of something I just realized this morning. Chiron’s orbital period is 50 years, and since I bought her book two years ago, I’ve been killing myself trying to figure out the meaning of the Sabian Symbol shared by both Chiron and Vesta. The Sabian Symbol for Taurus 9/10 is “A Red Cross Nurse.”

For two years, I couldn’t make any sense out of this, but this morning I had the sudden flash to look at Neptune and his passage through the signs. I said to myself, “holy crap, Neptune is on the 27th degree of Pisces, he’s gonna be leaving soon.” So, I looked to see when Neptune would be leaving Pisces, and I found that Neptune would be entering Aries in 2025 and staying for 14 years.

We have two more years of Neptune in Pisces. I went a little further and studied what the world was like the last time Neptune was in Aries, and there it was; the Red Cross was established during Neptune’s last transit of Aries.

The Sabian Symbol now makes perfect sense, and Clow is right again. Chiron’s placement in my natal chart points to this current time and Neptune’s transit through Aries (I’ll turn 50 in 2030). Chiron is the rainbow bridge to the outer planets, she was right about that, and she was right to define Pluto as the ruler of emotional encountering.

WTF does all this mean? You wouldn’t believe me.

Sunday Morning Apocalypse

This morning, I woke up and looked at myself in the mirror. The symbol on the shirt I was wearing stood out like a sore thumb; it was a picture of horse and underneath it it said Black Horse.

This is the second time my work put me in association with the Black Horse, the first was a street address named Black Horse Lane.

This caused me to look at Revelation 6; there’s a book or scroll in the right hand of God that’s sealed with 7 seals. The first 4 of 7 seals are opened by the Lamb of God, or the Lion of Judah and 4 beings riding horses are summoned.

First Horse: White, crown, conquest

Second Horse: Red, sword, war

Third Horse: Black, scales, famine

Fourth Horse: Green, death, hades

They are given authority over 1/4 of the earth to kill by their associated means.

It is my belief that the associated astrological signs are as follows:

First Horse: Leo, Crown, Kingly, Royalty, conquest

Second Horse: Virgo, Goddess of Justice, Sword (tongue)

Third Horse: Libra, Scales

Fourth Horse: Scorpio, death, hades (Pluto God of death and regeneration)

When you take the actual placement number of these signs and put them next to their biblical horse numbers it’s as follows:

51 Leo

62 Virgo

73 Libra

84 Scorpio

I don’t think it’s coincidental that there’s a perfect sequence of increasing numbers here. Leo through Scorpio are astrological signs 5, 6, 7, and 8, and their horse numbers start at 1 and continue increasing by 1; 1, 2, 3, 4.

51, 62, 73, and 84 are all separated by 11.

Are you blown away yet?

How about this; 51+62+73+84=270.

270 degrees is exactly 3/4 of the zodiac (Aries through Sagittarius), which leaves 1/4, or three signs. The four horsemen were given authority over 1/4 of the earth (Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces) to kill. Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces are the three signs representing the winter season or death, the time of year when it’s impossible to plant and grow crops.

How about this; 51+62+73+84=270.

270 divided by 4 horsemen= 67.5.

6 is the Revelation number, there were 7 seals, and .5 represents roughly half the seals that were open, 4 out of 7.

Have a great day, and..

don’t overthink it.

Descendant, Origin of the Soul; Conversation

Part 1 and Part 2 of Descendant, Origin of the Soul has been published.

I’m trying to figure out how I can open this up for conversation and exactly what I’m trying to get out of it.

If you have a descendant between the 25th degree of Capricorn and the 5th degree of Aquarius, I’d like to know if your life feels fated in some way. I’d like to know if you feel like you have a purpose; do you feel like you were put here for something specific?

Do you feel like you lived before?

I have to be honest here, this spiritual path for me came out of nowhere around 2007, and I’m just now starting to understand why it did. Everything points to independence and self-discovery; like a detachment from the collective to learn about myself, and then return when I have something worth sharing.

I’d like to hear from you! Have a great day.

Descendant; Origin of the Soul; Part 2 of 2

Before I begin this post, I would like to revisit something I said in my video. I never slammed anyone for their beliefs, and I would never dare tell anyone something they believed to be true, wasn’t.

Just the other day, I said to myself, “There’s a lot of things I need to keep to myself because I’m at a point now where the answers I seek are truly inside of me.”

It’s not that the world lacks good advice or good people to give good advice, and I’m not attempting to keep things bottled up inside. My understanding of the world around me is complimentary to my view as a person in it. When you reach this level, some things are better left unsaid.

I believe in reincarnation. I believe I lived before, and I believe I will return. What I came up with the other day and presented in my video, is at the very least, and unbelievably amazing theory. For those of us who are on this awakened spiritual journey that has surprisingly swept us out of the mainstream cattle march, we are experiencing the outward manifestation of our soul’s inner journey. Like I said, it’s a journey that mirrors itself and for me personally, it can be read, followed, and interpreted by the use of astrology.

It’s what I’ve been shown, and most of it I’ve shared with all of you, that causes me to believe what I believe. We do have a soul, and when the time is right for that soul to grow, evolve, and progress, we are awakened by it. The soul’s journey begins with its detachment from source, and at that time we’re awakened. We become super aware and tuned in to interactions with people, the relationships we’ve formed, things that keep repeating, synchronicities, dreams, self-sabotaging behaviors, and so on. We’re awakened to things we never would’ve given our attention to in the past, and it’s because the soul grows through the human experience.

At a certain point, everyone on this planet will experience this. It might not be in this lifetime, it might not be in the next life, but believe me, you lived before, you will return, and you will awaken when your soul is ready.

So, let’s get into my descendant. My descendant, which is the cusp of the 7th House, is 1*43 Aquarius. I’m also an Aquarius with a 7th House Sun, and my lunar node axis runs from the 29th degree of Aquarius (8th House) to the 29th degree of Leo (2nd House).

This is a lot of activity in the sign of Aquarius. My descendant is at the beginning of Aquarius, and my descending or lunar south node is at the end of Aquarius with the Sun in the middle on the 18th degree.

My lunar north node is conjunct the star Regulus, and my lunar south node is conjunct Mercury.

My descendant is conjunct the star, Altair (Aquarius 1*29).

If the descendant, like we explained, marks the point of who, what, or where we at the soul level are a descendant of, then my soul would’ve incarnated as a descendant of the constellation Aquila.

Altair (on my descendant) is one of three stars in the summer triangle asterism, it’s the brightest star in Aquila, it’s the 12th brightest star in the night sky, and it’s aligned with the celestial equator. Altair is the bird (eagle) that carried Zeus/Jupiter’s thunderbolts, and the eagle sent to carry Ganymede to the Gods where he would become their cup bearer and immortalized as Aquarius.

This is the story of my soul. It was once young, beautifully attractive, and trusted enough by the Gods to be their cup bearer, but my soul woke up, and it woke me up. It was time for it to detach from source, and it was time for it to detach from the 7th House relationship with the Gods. It was trusted, spoiled, and beautifully attractive, but all that special treatment was stunting its growth.

So, my soul began its journey to the 1st House of Self to find out who or what it truly is without the help of the Gods. It was time for my soul to grow up, become self-aware, and individualized in its own right. This could not be done as a servant to the Gods. A decision had to be made.

So, it’s working its way over to Leo in the 1st House. It’s coming out of the darkness of Aquarius, and into the Light of Leo. Directly across the way is my ascendant on 1*43 Leo. That’s the beginning of the astrological sun’s entry into the sign of the Lion, and roughly July 22nd on the calendar. 143 is the numerical code for I Love you, so my soul is loved on both sides.

The feast day for Saint Mary Magdalene in on July 22nd, so I envision Mary waiting with her arms stretched out. She’s ready and waiting to embrace me and give me grace as I bravely (MC Aries) come out of the darkness and enter the light of the kingdom.

The Lion (Leo) was the symbol for the Tribe of Judah (holy nation), and the star Regulus, which is conjunct my lunar north node, is a kingly star and a star of royalty.

The story of my soul is clear. Leave the heavenly relationship and connection to source where it was a servant, and become an earthly king.

The Sabian Symbol for my descendant is, “An unexpected thunderstorm.” Things can change quickly and without warning, and it has been said before, “I’d rather rain in hell than serve in heaven.”

But it’s love and victory all the way around the chart.

According to Barbara Hand Clow, my moon in Scorpio opposite Chiron in Taurus is the highest manifestation of the alchemized moon. Magic and kundalini energy in abundance is what’s in the inside. Venus on the 27th degree of Pisces in the 9th House is exalted.

And here I am, housing this soul striving for kingship and destined for greatness!

This is how I feel about this, if I wasn’t supposed to wake up to this, then I wouldn’t have been born with my descendant where it was. The first zone of Aquarius (0 through 10 degrees) is a determined independent spirit. If the Gods wanted my soul to stay asleep and continue serving them, they would’ve given me a sleepy spirit that was content in darkness.

It’s time.

Descendent, Origin of Soul; Part 1 of 2

According to several online dictionaries, descendent, means: 1. descending from an ancestor; proceeding from an ancestor or source; one deriving from a precursor or prototype; 2. moving or directed downward.

I’ve talked a lot about the Ascendant in my astrological birth chart, and there’s a lot of content and interest focused on the Ascendant in general for obvious reasons. The definitions for Ascendant are opposite of those given for descendent, and through those definitions we can understand why so many people want to know about it, but I’ve been thinking about this recently, and what came to mind was this; we all start from the bottom and nothing built is done so from the top down.

In addition, if we’re to internalize the idea of a final destination, or a journey or path taking us from one place to another then wherever this road leads to would require our understanding, knowing, and awareness of where we came from.

How are you supposed to know where you’re going if you don’t know where you’ve been or where you’re coming from?

When it comes to the astrological birth chart, or any astrological chart, the term descendent is used twice. The first is in association to the Moon. The Lunar South Node is the descending nodal point that shows where the Moon begins its descent on the ecliptic as it crosses paths with the Sun. It’s where the Moon starts going downward.

The other, which is the focus of this posting, is the descendent. If you look at a birth chart, you will notice a thick black line running across the chart from the ascendant on the left to the descendent on the right. The ascendant is the cusp of the 1st House, and it can only be found by knowing the exact time you’re creating the chart for. For our birth charts, that means knowing the exact time of birth.

People who shun precision tend to shun the truth as well, but trust me, when it comes to astrology, exact times are important. Every degree is important and every degree has a unique meaning attached to it. In addition, when you know the exact time and you can find the ascendant, you can then adjust all the other houses accordingly.

The Ascendant/Descendant is an axis, they’re points in opposition (180 degrees apart). That means they’re at opposite points exactly. If you’re ascendant (first house cusp) is 3 degrees, then you’re Descendent (seventh house cusp) is also going to be on the 3rd degree.

The Ascendant/Descendant axis is a horizontal axis that defines our earthly limitations. If you can imagine Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man with his arms stretched out wide, one hand would touch the Ascendant and the other would touch the Descendent. This is from a spiritual perspective.

Astrologically, this axis divides the chart in half separating the top from the bottom, the upper six houses from the lower six houses, and night from day.

Now, let’s get into the interesting stuff. We all want to know who we are, and we all want to know where we came from. Let’s think about this.

If the Descendent represents where we came from, and the Ascendant represents where we’re going, then that means the Descendant represents that ancestor, precursor, prototype, and source we’re coming from. And this couldn’t possibly have anything to do with our physical existence or current reality, right? Because physically, we’re born into a family. We can trace our family linage and see exactly where and who we came from.

Nope!

This is something much deeper and non-physical. The Descendent is the cusp of the 7th House, and the 7th House is the House of relationships. The Ascendant is the cusp of the 1st House, and the 1st House is the House of Self, it’s who we are.

When we read our charts, we all begin with the 1st House. That’s what we’re taught and that’s what we’re shown. The 1st House is supposed to tell us who we are, and then, as we work our way through the houses and make our way to the 7th, the 7th House is supposed to represent a later time in life when we form relationships and finally meet the “other” but only after we know who we are and gain the communication and social skills to do so.

This is a contradiction!

If the Descendant is where we’re coming from, then that’s our starting point not the Ascendant. That means we’re coming from a relationship (7th House) and we did not start alone, but we’re striving towards or trying to reach individuation or self awareness (1st House). The Ascendant/Descendent axis represents a process through which we come into being and gain full awareness of who we are. The axis represents the process or path, and the points themselves represent, in a sense, locations.

This is an unbelievable realization!

This is about the origin, development, and growth of our souls! The Ascendant/Descendent axis represents the spiritual path, the journey through God’s Grace and goodness, some of us are forced into after we’re awakened. It’s the physical manifestation of something that ultimately began in the etheric realms.

Yes, the astrological birth chart as we’re taught to read it, does explain, reveal, and indicate how our current lives are and will be affected by the alignments and relationships of the planets and other heavenly bodies, but there’s something deeper and more significant in there for those who have to the eyes to see, and the wisdom to understand.

At the soul level, our souls began in a relationship and connected to source, which is represented by the descendent. So, it’s true. Our souls are on a journey. Our soul, as much as it hurts, must detach from source and go through this process of development that ultimately leads to self-awareness, which is represented by the ascendant and the 1st House.

What the soul is going through at the etheric level will manifest into our lives at the physical level through a path of spirituality where we seek the answers to more meaningful questions and pursue the meaning of life itself. The outside becomes like the inside, and the inside becomes like that of the outside as the journey mirrors itself. In the physical, it’s houses 1 through 7 beginning with the self in the 1st House and striving towards meaningful partnerships, relationships, and marriages with the others in the 7th House.

At the soul or etheric level, it’s houses 7 through 1. The soul begins in the 7th House of Relationships as it’s connected to its source and creator, and when the time is right, it begins its journey for self-discovery, which is obtained in the 1st House.

What’s really interesting, and something I’ve experienced during my own spiritual pursuits, is that in real life, the 1st House of Self is always taken for granted. Sarcastically, people say, “What do you mean you’re trying to find out who you are? You’re Francis LaManna, I’m your father, that’s your mother, and this is where we live. C’mon man, what are you trying to figure out?”

People sarcastically assume the knowledge of knowing who we are individually is common and already known, but they couldn’t be any further from the truth. The truth is that that attitude and approach is how they keep us apart of the collective and prevent us from reaching self-awareness.

It’s my understanding of all this that causes such great excitement and intrigue when considering my own Descendent. So, let’s take this back to the beginning since we now know what the Descendent represents.

Who are you? Where did you come from?

Gift Found in Most Unusual Spot

Several months ago, I was digging through my birth chart looking for clues and hidden treasures. It took a while, but I was finally able to find the placement of some asteroids, which are all Greek or Roman Goddesses.

At a first glance, I saw Chiron near the top of my chart in Taurus in the 10th House, and I saw the conjunction between Jupiter (7th degree) and Mars (12th degree) in Virgo in the 2nd House.

What I didn’t see, however, was the missing piece.

It took a long time and many hours of studying, but finally, I was able to find the connection between the main belt asteroid, 5 Astrea, and the Starry Maiden, Astrea, in Greek and Roman mythology. Once that was done, I could find and interpret her placement in my chart.

With Astrea, I now had something in my chart that I never even knew was there; two Grand Earth Trines! A few months after finding this connection in my chart, it manifested into the physical!

GRAND EARTH TRINE

Planets/Signs/Houses:

Vesta 10 degrees, Chiron 9 degrees/Taurus/10th House of Public Image

Jupiter 7 degrees, Mars 12 degrees/Virgo/2nd House of Possessions

Astrea 8 degrees/Capricorn/6th House of Work and Wealth.

They say Virgo isn’t the best placement for Jupiter, and this is a perfect example. While I can work and earn money, abundance and expansion is limited.

Cardinal Points & Festivals

Hello beloved.

Right now, we have both the Sun (0 ♊) and the Moon (26 ♊) in the sign of The Twins, Gemini. The current moon cycle began on the 19th of May in Taurus, and last night, the moon was a waxing crescent in Gemini. Tonight will be the second night of the new phase, and we’ll see another waxing crescent lit up at 4% in Gemini.

There are two festivals coming up that I’m now recognizing because of astrology. Vesta is the Goddess of hearth and home, and her festival, Vestalia, is celebrated on June 9th. The inner sanctum of the temple of Vesta is open on June 7th and closed on June 15th.

The second is the feast day of Saint Mary Magdalene on July 22nd. In addition to the connection between July 22nd and my ascendant, Mary Magdalene was also connected to Diana and Artemis (Moon), the Goddess of the Hunt.

The last thing I wanted to share is something I consider to be very important because it’s hidden information. Most of us know the Cardinal points in astrology; Aries and Libra share one axis, and Cancer and Capricorn share the other, but did you know these points are connected to Cardinal Virtues in Cristian Theology and classical philosophy?

The Cardinal Virtues are Prudence, Justice, Fortitude, and Temperance.

Moon/♋=Temperance

Venus/♎=Justice

Mars/♈=Fortitude

Saturn/♑=Prudence
