Flashpoint was a movie released in 1984, and I have to be honest, it was a masterpiece! Flashpoint brings together many different elements and would-be experiences from the life of border agents patrolling the southern border of the United States.

Logan and Wyatt are partners who work as border patrol agents. Logan is like the old veteran who is just tired of the politics and where the agency is headed. Wyatt is extremely smart, and he’s like the young cowboy type still believing in truth, justice, and the American way.

But Wyatt and Logan in their own ways, are both blind to how deep the corruption is within the agency, and Logan gets a first-hand lesson from a “fixer-agent” sent to Texas from Washington D.C. We’re talking about corruption at the highest levels; allowing illegal immigrants and drugs to enter the country just so the agency can continue receiving federal dollars for work.

With everything going on that’s work-related, Logan stumbles upon a jeep buried under the sand in a Texas desert, and a completely different aspect of this movie is unlocked that not only takes over the imagination of the viewing audience, but the storyline as well.

Yesterday

Okay, so the past of an individual is important for several different reasons, and at the end of the day, there’s something about our past that must be kept in perspective.

I think it’s easier for us to begin this conversation with what we must keep in perspective, and that’s two things. Our past, all the years, months, days, hours, minutes, and seconds leading up to this current moment tell the story of how we arrived at the present moment. All of the choices we made and everything we’ve experienced made us who we are, and for that, we must make peace with our past.

What does that mean?

In our past, we’ve done things, we’ve made decisions, and we’ve had experiences that; made us proud, brought laughter and joy, made us feel guilty or shameful, scared us and those who loved us, did or didn’t make sense, and we probably came close to dying a few times. We fought, we cried, we made friends, and we lost friends.

At some point, issues from the past must be resolved or celebrated, we forgive, we thank, and then, we must close the door or file all that stuff away.

The second thing is that the past must be let go of. No matter how hard it is to do, we must let go of it because you cannot live in the present moment and the past at the same time. Life is growth, so if you’re still stuck on something that happened twenty years ago, you’re not living.

In a sense, we’re like planets. It takes us 365.25 days to run one lap around the sun, and upon completion, we get a year older. Did you ever notice how the planets go retrograde when they’re entering a new sign? Pluto for example, as it was entering Aquarius for the first time in a long time, crossed over the Capricorn and Aquarius border into Aquarius for a short time. Then, Pluto went retrograde back into Capricorn for a brief time before blazing a trail forward back into Aquarius.

This retrograde motion is a planet retracing its steps, tying up lose ends, and making sure everything is good before it moves forward. They’re making peace with the sign they were previously in.

When it comes to moving forward, I have something of great value to share with you. For many years, I had an addiction to pain medication, and to help me resolve that issue, I took another medication.

During that time, I was in the prime of my life, and I actually applied or tried to become a police officer several times. That career never worked out for me, and I know personally, that if I wasn’t addicted to pain medication, it probably would’ve become a police officer, and I would’ve been successful.

Many years passed by, and I missed out on some really good opportunities. Then, at one point, I ran out of medication, and I had to go a day or two without it. My body began to heal, and during those two days, I saw for the first time since applying to become a police officer, billboard signs on the highway about joining the police force.

This was an incredible revelation because it showed me that even though I thought I was moving forward and progressing, my addiction actually stunted my growth and mentally, it kept me stuck in the past. My vision was literally limited.

What I wanted to tell you is that if you decide to escape life with drugs and end up forming an addiction, your life stops as soon as your addiction begins. It will not resume until you get sober. So, think about that.

You must progress, move on and forward, and grow. If you’re around people that keep you stuck in the past because they refuse to move forward, then you have to get away from them. Not everyone is capable of making peace with their past. If you want, you can help them, but don’t let them drag you into their hole.

Sometimes, people get so mad at me because they say I’ve changed. You should be changing, and if you’re not, then there’s a problem. You shouldn’t be the person you were twenty years ago, right now today.

You past is important because it’s the path you took to get where you are today. So, if something doesn’t make sense now, or if you’re suddenly feeling lost, or like you’ve made the wrong decision at some point, you can always go back to your past and reflect.

This is really crazy because I’ve been talking to this woman for three years, and every once in a while, she disappears for weeks and months at a time.

This happens to be one of those times where she’s MIA, and interestingly enough, on her birthday, which is in two days on the 18th, the Sun will be on the 28th degree of Taurus.

A woman pursued by mature romance, um, yeah, that’s what’s literally happening.

And, then, the next day when the Sun reaches the 29/30th degree on the 19th, the Sabian Symbol represented is below.

🌓 Tonight’s Moon will be 61% illuminated in the astrological sign of Virgo. Shirley MacLaine, J. P. Morgan, and Kennedy’s John F. and Edward M., were born with their natal Moons in Virgo. In the sign of the maiden, there is a tendency to be argumentative and high strung, but even the darkest sides of the Virgo moon seem to come from a very good place.

Virgo is conscientious. She’s aware and seeks to know, so as long as we’re coming from a genuine place of sincerity, we cannot be wrong. Last night was the first quarter moon, which means we have approximately one more week until totality. Reading, studying, and intellectual work that grounds us is good for this transit through Virgo.

🌞 2024 is moving rather quickly; we’re half-way through May already, and the Sun is almost done with his journey through Taurus. Today, the Sun shines brilliantly on the 26th degree of Taurus delivering warmth and light. As we prepare to move into the sign of communications and self-expression (Gemini), we take with us, lessons of dependability and consistency.

⚾ The MLB Season began on March 28th. The Yankees are 29-15 and a half-game up on the Orioles in the East, the Guardians lead the central division (Who TF are the Guardians, and when did they become a team?), and the Mariners are 1.5 games ahead of the Rangers in the West. For the National League, the Phillies are 3 games ahead in the East, the Brew Crew leads in the central, and in the West, the Dodgers are 7 games ahead of the Fathers (🤣🤣Padres).

🧡 We have about thirty-five days until the summer season begins on July 21st. Litha, summer solstice, and in some traditions, Midsummer, represents a time of peak fertility used to celebrate love, health, purification, and dedication.

😷 The Epoch Times reported that people who received more than one vaccine to protect themselves from covid actually made themselves twice as likely to get it.

The North Carolina Senate is now moving to ban wearing masks in public as the bigger picture is finally starting to become clear-they’re being worn by criminals and protestors. Personally, it is my belief that there’s a strong connection between mental disorders and mask-wearing. What are you hiding your face for?

🛑 A teenager in Colorado, Nicholas Karol-Chik, pleaded guilty for his involvement in the death of Alexa Bartell. This case is really a shame, senseless, and stupid. Apparently, several teenagers were driving around in a vehicle driven by Chik, and they were throwing rocks at other cars on the road?

What?

Anyway, one of the rocks went through the windshield of the car driven by 20-year-old, Alex Bartell, and killed her. SMH. Dumb, just dumb.

Moon Scope

May 13, 2024 Edition

Moon 3 degrees Leo, 11th House

At 1:22 PM, the Moon was sighted on the 3rd degree of Leo in the eleventh house. Self-confidence should receive a boost now as the Moon makes her way into Leo, and that’s always a good thing because sometimes society can place so many restrictions upon us that the atmosphere can be suffocating.

Suffocation, people will tell you that it’s from asthma or anxiety, but there’s something else that shouldn’t be ruled out. Suffocation is a sign of death. When something ceases to grow, it begins to die. Tyranny, fear, restrictions, limitations; if you’re living in fear or allowing others limit your choices, growth, or your potential, you’re body is going to send you warning signs.

God gave you the breath of life, breathing is life. If you’re experiencing bouts of suffocation, then you need to take a look at your life, and remember something, it’s your life.

This leads me to my second point; we can’t place all the blame on society. At some point, we must take responsibility for the things we did or didn’t do.

The eleventh house is the place where all of our wishes and dreams manifest. It’s a futuristic house, meaning that it represents the things we want, what we hope to have one day, and ultimately, the kind life we’d like to live someday. In a way, it can also represent what we’re aspiring or working towards.

Leo in the 11th House and because the Sun rules Leo, the Moon is pushing us towards a big-bright future that’s full of light, life, and abundance. Sometimes, loose ends don’t need to be tied up, they can just be cut off.

Not knowing what you want and not having a plan is okay, it means you aren’t done. And honestly, some of us are in that situation because we’re unsure about what’s out there.

The 3rd degree of Leo is about doing things in our own way, and we’re clearly shown that that’s the best way of getting all we hope and wish for. The MC is on the zero degree of Gemini (the sign of personal expression) conjunct Jupiter (abundance and prosperity). The Moon is pushing you towards being yourself, originality, authenticity, and speaking up for yourself.

Leo in the 11th House represents a big bright future for the bold and the exuberant. You cannot be a follower, submissive, or refuse to speak up for yourself.

The 13th and the 14th, today and tomorrow, are the last two nights before the first quarter moon. You’re running out of time. Get all your errands done, get your running-around done, and get all of your homework done before the 15th. After Wednesday, we can take a step back and see what rises to the top of this bubbling cauldron.

Before I end this Moon Scope, I would like to mention that house eleven is the place of long term pleasures. Think about that in terms of the fifth house, which is short term pleasure. The fifth house is all about experimenting, having fun, being creative, sexual, and it represents an early and more immature time in our lives. Smoking weed on a Friday night is fifth house thing-short time pleasure, enjoying the moment.

In our personal charts, the eleventh house represents our future, and the sign there shows us how to go about making it the happiest and most fulfilling. Long term pleasure is about personal enjoyment. It’s about real true joy and personal satisfaction.

Take the Block Off

God blessed me with Uranus on the 25th degree of Scorpio in the 5th House.

I can see. I see things differently, I see through deception, and I can see commonalities in things others miss.

I analyze my numbers here at WordPress, and what my eyes are telling me is that someone is playing with my sites visibility.

I’m still getting between 8 and 15 views on a Good day, and 2 to 4 on a bad day, even though I’ve been working at this for six years and published 1300 articles.

I don’t think they’re restricting my ability to gain followers, but it does appear that someone is playing with the category for views and visits.

Proof of this came one day, all of a sudden, out of the blue, after getting an average of between 8 and 10 views every day for several years, someone at WordPress got caught lacking and my views were in the hundreds! That happened one day, and then it went back to normal the following day.

I work hard, and at this point I can only hope things are fair.

A Glimpse Into the Astrology of Joan Jett

September 22, 1958

Rock Legend, Joan Jett, will be 66 this year, and yes, she’s a native of Pennsylvania. I think it’s interesting how certain celebrities come to my mind for astrological interpretation. There’s really no rhyme or reason to it, they just pop in my head, and what I find most interesting is that after looking at the chart, there’s always some planetary alignment I’ll have in common with the person.

With Joan Jett, she has Chiron on the 18th degree of Aquarius, which is where my Sun is located. The core wounding for Chiron in Aquarius is disappointment in self, self-destruction, feeling invisible, and a disconnection from one’s body.

Clearly, Joan Jett is not afflicted by her Chiron placement as a healed Chiron manifests as an authentic connection to others and the community, the ability to express feelings, and in touch with intuition. Jett is an amazing example of someone not only stepping into her power, but embracing it to the fullest.

The 18th degree of Aquarius has to do with truth and trust. “An unmasked man,” as the Sabian Symbol shows, reminds us that no matter how hard we try to hide the truth, it will always come out in the end. So, the lesson is really about embracing our eccentricities and the things that make us different, because ultimately, they’re what make us special and what will bond us to others.

She has Jupiter on the 2nd degree of Scorpio, which is where my Moon is, and her Moon on the 29th degree of Capricorn is within two degrees of my descendent.

Jett was born on September 22nd, which puts her Sun on the Libra Virgo Cusp. Venus, the planet ruling Libra, and Mercury, the planet ruling Virgo are in a conjunction in Virgo separated by two degrees. That’s the Goddess of Love and Beauty linked with the God of Communication.

That’s a person who loves expressing herself!

Virgo 16 degrees (Venus) is about embracing the beast within us, and the Sabian Symbol for Virgo 18 degrees (Mercury) shows an Ouija board. That’s about intuition, which directly connects her Venus and Mercury conjunction back to the placement of Chiron.

📺 It’s nothing but drama for the family of one of my favorite actors. Weston Cage, son of actor, Nicolas Cage, allegedly beat the crap out of his mother and gave her a black eye. Christina Fulton, Weston’s mother, blames Hila Arounian, Weston’s ex-wife, for creating a hostile environment and making it impossible for her to have a relationship with her granddaughters. I mean, they said Weston has a history of mental disorders, but no one knows for sure what his problem is, and it doesn’t seem like his mother wants to put the law on him, so..

On a brighter note, the boy’s father, Nicolas Cage, said he’s looking to retire after 45-years in cinema. In 45-years, Cage made over one-hundred movies, and he says that he would like to leave on a high note. The Humanity Bureau was the last Nicolas Cage film I saw, and it was pretty darn good.

🛐 As if walking into a church and pointing a gun at a pastor wasn’t strange enough, the plot deepens. This case has people talking divine intervention- so, this guy walks into a church in Pennsylvania, pulls a gun out, points it at a pastor’s face and pulls the trigger.

Thank God, literally, the gun jammed and the bullet never discharged. Another church member, after seeing this, quickly springs into action and tackles the gunman. The gunman’s name is Bernard Polite, and he’s now being held in Allegheny County Jail.

At some point after the incident at the church, police searched Polite’s home, and they found a dead man who was killed from a gunshot wound. The dead guy was a relative of the man who pulled the gun on the Pastor. Obviously, there’s more to this case than what happened at the church and police are still investigating.

😺 I don’t know, it seems to me that this cat was trying to kill his owner, but everyone else thinks the cat was just showing affection. Every night, after this guy would lay down, he noticed his cat would jump into the bed and stare at him until he fell asleep. After installing a camera to record the cat’s behavior while he was sleeping, the video revealed the cat blocking the guy’s mouth as he slept. This was alarming for the man because he had a history of asthma. ❓ Here’s a story put out by the Associated Press about three guys who went to the beach to surf, and ended up getting executed. Three young men killed over car tires. Terrible, terrible.

Reaching Ronda, Part 1

If you Google Ronda Rousey, it will tell you she’s an American Professional Wrestler and Actress, but she was also the first female fighter to sign with the UFC. Rousey fought in the UFC from 2012 to 2016, and she became UFC’s first female Bantamweight Champion.

The timing of her entry into the UFC was absolutely favored by the heavens; in December of 2011, Regulus, the Kingly Star of the Constellation Leo, which is also the heart of the lion, crossed over the Leo Virgo border into Virgo on the zero degree.

Ronda is an Aquarius born on the 1st of February in 1987. Her natal Sun is on the 12th degree of Aquarius, and her career as a fighter was a physical manifestation of a difficult spiritual lesson.

When you think of a fighter in general in connection with their sport you know the obvious. Not everyone will be a title holder or a belt holder. They train to be the best in the world, and while some achieve what they set out to do, others are less fortunate. This has nothing to do with fighting itself, or her record as a fighter. It’s more about the bigger picture that show us that not all fighters are on the same level.

Without the physical manifestation of finding an outlet for aggression, which was definitely something Rousey needed to do in this life, it would be impossible to understand the spiritual meaning behind the placement of her Sun.

We are all representations of our creator, and all of us come here with a message to share. Some of us come straight out and do it, while others are a living testimony.

On the 12th degree of Aquarius, the Sabian Symbol of Ronda’s Sun represents improvement. It shows people on stairs graduating upwards, which shows that spiritually, we’re all on different levels. Physical competition can prove where we stand physically, but how can we prove the exact same message spiritually?

We’re not all equal, and as James Burgess puts it, “However spiritually inspiring it may be to think that we are all of the same worth and level of attainment, the truth is that it is not so.”

This is important because it’s the first step towards self-improvement. Once you identify your placement in the grand scheme and then realize that you can be better and climb higher, the choice to do so becomes your make.

I don’t know Ronda personally, but considering the conjunction in her chart between Venus and Uranus in the sign of Sagittarius, I’m willing to bet that she has a deep and personal love for freedom and independence. She’s a seeker of new challenges and loves the chase, but she’s selfless enough to dedicate herself to a cause.

We do not have a pantheon of powerful female creator images. We have nothing on which to pattern a positive image of the empowered feminine. So, men are striving to be male and women are striving to be empowered through a male vibration because their is no clear vision of the empowered female. WE MUST CREATE IT!

Did I lose you?

Ronda Rousey is a great example of a woman striving to be empowered through a male vibration, but both men and women are lost without a clear vision of the empowered female because both men and women must balance the masculine and feminine within themselves.

Think about it? What would that look like?

I thought about this and thought and thought. What would an empowered female look like?
