Saturn Square Moon

June 25, 2025

I wanted to post this as a follow up to the Moon Scope article that went live at 3:00 am this morning. Yes, today is the beginning of a new lunar phase, which features a new moon in Cancer, and as of 3:00 pm this afternoon, the moon in Cancer in the Ninth House was 90 degrees away from Saturn in Aries in the Fifth House.

With Aries in the Fifth House there’s a focus on our role personally when it comes to things like having fun in the current moment. Through Cancer in the Ninth House, the moon has a lot to offer us, even if it is just a really long process leading down a really long road with love waiting at the end of it.

There’s a loving, caring, and nurturing energy now that seems to be the answer for the current situation, but we have to give it a chance. Nothing in the Ninth House comes quickly, and nothing comes easily. If you can, surrender yourself to this journey.

With Saturn in Aries in the Fifth House, we can see the manifestation of something questionable suddenly becoming a thing. What I mean by this is, for example, gambling is something most people do for fun. We go to the casino, and we spend money hoping to win big or hit the jackpot. Most people let it go after that, but there are others who will try to make a career out of gambling.

Saturn in that position can either limit us or bring form to something we love doing, but because of the square to the moon, I’m willing to bet that Saturn is bringing form to something, which will ultimately delay whatever the moon had in mind for us.

The bottom line is to be careful with fleeting pleasures. There’s an opportunity right now that we talked about in the Moon Scope article that involves something genuine and true. Things of that nature take time, but they’re well worth it in the end.

The moon in Cancer wants to bring us back to roots, back to family, and back to things that are familiar to us. She might even be looking to repair a broken or damaged relationship involving our mothers or wives.

I’m not one to shun the fun, but there’s a time and place for everything. Focus on what’s truly important.

Mercury in Sagittarius

November 18, 2024

Good morning. Yes, it’s Monday, and most of us are back at work. Thanksgiving Day is next Thursday on the 28th, so, we’re less than two weeks away.

Earlier this morning, at approximately 4:51, the planet Mercury was on the 18th degree of Sagittarius in the Second House. When is comes to communication, we are no longer content with the mundane. We want to talk about the topics that interest us and the topics that are normally off-limits.

In addition to that, as we grow older and our mind develops, we find that we are capable of not just reading certain new material, but understanding it as well. We can now wrap our brains around subjects that at one time, made no sense to us. These are the subjects that interest us, that we’re passionate about, and we’ll do whatever we can to put ourselves in the company of people who are capable of exchanging ideas.

It’s nice to talk about the weather and the football game, but sometimes, some of us, need more. We need and require mental stimulation, and the weather report just isn’t doing it. Sagittarius is the sign of exploration that seeks new challenges, and mentally, that’s where we are.

Saturn and Neptune were in Pisces in the Fifth House. Some of us could finally be feeling restrictions and limitations in the Fifth House of Fun. The Fifth House deals with fun and short-term pleasure, creativity, and sex. We did things in our twenties that we cannot get away with in our thirties and forties.

Experimentation with drugs and alcohol usually occurs in our early twenties, which is also when most cases of addiction begin because we’re no longer under parental supervision, and we’re making our own money and choices. Having sex, possibly unprotected, with everyone and anyone, and spending money we don’t have-Saturn is pulling the rope back in now. Saturn is reminding us that we do have a future.

Order, routine and structure in our lives can help us build and prepare for that future.

Squares connecting Mercury in the Second House to Neptune and Saturn in the Fifth House are creating tension, but that tension is helping us see the serious side of things. Speaking and communicating can be done in a fun way, but the drawback to that is that no one is going to take us seriously.

We’re dealing with jealousy, and we’re dealing with a system that wants to hold on to old ideas and concepts for as long as it possibly can. The closer you get to a breakthrough, a new idea, or changing the perceptions that people have, the more you’ll be scrutinized.

If you want to be taken seriously, then you’re going to have to first clean up your act when it comes to what you’re putting in your body. And second, stick to the topics that you’re either familiar with or have personally experienced, or those you’ve studied and researched thoroughly.

The polarity between the Fifth House and the Eleventh House reveals to us, that there’s a time to play, and a time for seriousness. The pleasures of the Fifth House are not the long-term pleasures of the Eleventh, and so, we must mature.

With Mercury in the Second House, it’s important for us to ground all forms of communication now. If you don’t know what you’re talking about, or you’re not in the right frame of mind, then refrain from speaking. Wait until you’re calmer. Wait until you’ve done some research.

Sometimes, it’s better to not say anything at all.

Mastery; Part 2

According to Barbara Hand Clow, Chiron itself is not mastery, it rules the way to mastery. In my birth chart, Chiron is located on the 9th degree of Taurus in the 10th House. That means the clues and the signs that will indicate the activation of Chiron, or the way to mastery, in my life will have something to do with bulls (Taurus) and 10th House issues like career and public reputation.

Not long ago, I had a dream. A group of bulls were confined to a circular space enclosed by a short barbed-wire fence. I was standing on the outside of this fence looking on. The bulls began to get restless and eventually put their lives on the line to break out of their imprisonment. I watched as the bulls endured a painful struggle. With nothing else to use, they used their bodies to break through the fence. The razor wire cut through their bodies, and some of them were temporarily entangled in the fence, but eventually they all broke free. As they ran for freedom, some of them looked at me with a smile on their faces.

Shortly after having that dream, I was reading from a manual that was describing the steps of basic ceremony. Calling in the elements was on the list, and the first element was earth. The manual said, when calling in the light and earth you should imagine a powerful bull arriving.

That’s when I put 2 and 2 together and connected what I was actually doing in this ceremonial ritual to the dream I just had. The dream confirmed that I had control over the earth element (senses), and that within me, I had the power to summon the light and earth from the north. It was also a sign that Chiron was now activated in my life and the way to mastery was finally beginning.

In Mastery Part 1, I introduced my audience to Planet Saturn, the Allen Key, and the Star of David, and how all three were connected by a hexagon. I also asked that you imagine yourself placing the Allen Key into the centers of the Star and the south pole of Sa “TURN” and turning the key. You have the power to loosen it or tighten it. From that vision we established a polarity. The Allen Key was positive or masculine, and the Star and Saturn were both feminine.

The Allen Key can be positioned in a way so that it resembles the number 7, and Saturn is the 7th planet from the Sun. Saturn is the God of Death, time, and karma. He is the limiter and the restrictor of the Zodiac. Saturn is about order and Saturn gives form to life. The terrestrial planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars) may be blocked off from the gas giants (Jupiter and Saturn) by the asteroid belt, but Saturn is the cutoff off point to “what’s beyond” form and our perceptions of life. In a sense, and I’ve made this comparison before, if the Milky Way was a prison, then Saturn is the warden.

What’s beyond Saturn are things we can only imagine, and that’s why imagination is so important. Intuition is beyond Saturn. The higher octaves of our terrestrial planets are beyond Saturn. Uranus (1700s), Neptune (1800s) , and Pluto (1900s) are beyond Saturn. Higher frequencies are beyond Saturn.

The powers to change the archetypal image of Man-Shepard, are beyond Saturn. And most importantly, your personal holographic life pattern lies beyond the confines of Saturn. That pattern ends or is completed when you die, and because only The Lord (Saturn) knows the date and time of that occasion, you’ll never get to see the complete image.

It’s like the dream I had, but the only difference is that we’re the bulls and the barbed-wire fence is Saturn.

The Allen Key is the reward, it’s the trophy, and it symbolizes mastery over life, which is actually mastery over death, and death, is Saturn. It can be acquire several ways I’m sure, but for the purpose of this lesson, it comes to you when you understand and figure out the meaning behind the Seal of Solomon, or the Star of David.

Because of the time we’re in right now, which is on the door step of the light half of the Grand Cycle, a gift has been dropped in our laps. The Key has already been placed in the center of the Star of David and in the center of the South Pole of Saturn, and both were loosened so that we could learn and understand who and what we truly are.

All you have to do is want to know.

In Mastery Part 3, we’ll begin with the Star of David.

Mastery; Part 1

The picture above is an infrared image of the North and South poles of Saturn, provided by https://science.nasa.gov/resource/infrared-images-of-saturns-poles-labeled/.

If you look at the image on the left, the image of Saturn’s South pole, you’ll see the formation of a hexagon. A hexagon is a six-sided polygon with six internal angles of 120-degrees each. If you multiply 6 angles times 120 degrees, it equals 720.

This is a tool, it’s called and Allen Key, or an Allen Wrench.

If you look at either end of the Allen Key, you’ll see it’s a hexagon.

We know three things about the Allen Key, it’s a tool that can tighten or loosen a screw with a hexagon head, it resembles the number seven, and it’s a hexagon.

The image above is picture of what we commonly refer to as, The Star of David, and it was taken from, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_of_David.

Before it was known as The Star of David, it was known as the Ring or Seal of Solomon. This Seal is created by intersecting two triangles. If you take two triangles invert one of them and then overlap the two, it creates The Star of David. If you look closely at the center of this image, you’ll notice that a hexagon is created by these two overlapping triangles.

We just connected three things because of what they have in common, the Planet Saturn and it’s South Pole, an Allen Key, and The Star of David all contain within them a hexagon.

Start imagining that your taking the Allen Key and placing it in the center of the South Pole of the Planet Sa “TURN”.

The Allen Key, a tool and a hexagon that resembles the number 7, you’re going to place it in the hexagon center of the South Pole of the 7th Planet from the Sun, Sa “TURN” and you’re going to TURN it. You can loosen it, or you can tighten it.

Now, imagine you’re doing the exact same thing, only this time, you’re placing the Allen Key in the center of the Star of David.

The Allen Key is masculine and the Star of David and the Planet Saturn are both feminine. Now that we have a positive and negative, we have attraction, we have an electrical field, and we have polarity, but there’s something more important going on here.

Astrologically Speaking

So, I’ve been studying and practicing astrology for about thirteen years now. It’s an interesting story in itself, but my Saturn return in 2009 awakened me to my love for astrology, my passion for astronomy and everything occult, and as he resumed his orbit, he left a very special door open.

I’ve been getting some amazing feedback on my astrological chart analysis. People are blown away by the accuracy and depth of my readings. I’m bringing personal issues up to the surface, and it’s helping people understand themselves in ways they never imagined.

Thank you for the feedback.

We’ve discussed the Saturn return here before. Saturn orbits the sun approximately once every 29 years, so most people experience their first Saturn return by the age of 29. A Saturn return, astrologically speaking, is when Saturn transits through the signs making his way around your chart until he reaches or comes back to where he was when you were born.

That Saturn return is important because we don’t live to see many.

Have a good night everyone.

Saturn and the Moon

I spent a good amount of time analyzing the moon these past two days, and I’ve come to this conclusion:

Saturn is “Old Father Time,” astrology has given him the responsibility to restrict and limit through time, but what about the moon?

Because of the moon, our awareness has been risen to observe not only time, but cycles of time as well. In modern times, the Sun has been associated with man and masculinity, and the Moon with women, the mother, wives, and femininity. That’s a great place to start.

When the moon is full, I imagine it to be a woman who’s looking at me, and every night, she turns ever so slightly until her back is facing us, the time I associate with the new moon. Therefore, when we can see the moon, the moon can see us.

She doesn’t make an about face 180-degree turn all at once, she does it methodically. She turns a little bit each night.

By its very nature, the moon teaches us about patience and the passage of time. If you wanted to buy a can of soup from your local food store, but the store was closed, you’d have to wait until the store reopens the next day.

That’s so routine and mundane that we miss the lesson. The lesson is all things in due time, a little at a time, and everything in moderation, and that’s what we learn from the moon.

Even in the natural life cycle, when you plant a seed a process takes place. I don’t think anyone planted a seed on Sunday and woke up to full grown tree the next day on Monday.

As we make this case for the moon, we have no choice but to reconsider the responsibilities placed on Saturn. Do we really need a double dose of limitation and restriction?

During my studies I found something interesting. The lunar cycle is about 29 days and Saturn makes one trip around the Sun in 29 years! There are lots of similarities between Father Time and the Huntress, the number 29 for sure, but the Number associated with the Moon is actually 27.

Either way, it’s time for me to revisit the drawing board. I think it’s finally time to separate and redefine our Moon and Saturn.

Father Time, He’s Not So Bad

Hello everyone!

If you learn how to deal with time, you’ll bring yourself into harmony with Saturn. If Saturn is favorable in your chart, he can be generous with the qualities he bestows upon you. He can give patience, perseverance, and the strength to wait out a bad spell.

Saturn used to co-rule Aquarius and Capricorn, but since the discovery of Uranus, Saturn has been serving full time duties in the astrological sign of Capricorn. If we’re lucky, some of us will get three Saturn returns during our lifetime. They say Saturn’s orbital period is 29 years, but mine began around 27. Most of us should have at least two Saturn returns during the course of our lives. A Saturn return is when the planet makes its way around the zodiac and returns to the place or position it was in when you were born.

And trust me, if you wake up to the synchronicities and patterns taking place in your life, you’ll know when Saturn is near. If you learn the lessons your supposed to learn you can expect an enlightened start to your 30s!

Saturn is all about restrictions. It’s not that he gets off on seeing you struggle, it’s just that sometimes there are lessons for us to learn that can only be learned through the struggle. There’s a method to his madness. The people who struggle with Saturn are usually bright individuals. They’re smart, on top of things, and they’d probably breeze through life getting anything and everything they wanted.

So, Saturn says, “yes you can have all that, but if you’re not ready spiritually, mentally, and emotionally, it will be the ruin of you. I will prepare you first, and then I will open that door when the time is right and you are ready.”

It is March 1st, and we have just about two weeks of winter left!

Have a blessed day tomorrow.
