Alright, Making Progress

Friends, readers, and supporters, how are you doing?

Thank you so so much, I noticed several of you responded to my post about purchasing my book, Smorgasbord A Collection of Thoughts Experiences and Stories. I’m beyond appreciative! The paperback version of the book is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, and wherever else books are sold. You can also purchase the e-book on Apple iTunes, Google Play, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon.

Thank you for your support! Smorgasbord 2 Catch Up and Relish should be on the shelves before this winter ends.

And of course, there will be a Smorgasbord 3; Smorgasbord 3 The Final Platter.

About COVID. I was allowed to return to work today, the 22nd, but I took this last day off deciding to return to my normal shift next week. I’m still a little hazy-brained and slow, but all that is clearing up. I’m excited to return to work, and I can’t wait to get back into the flow of society. Quarantine sucks. I still don’t have my sense of smell or taste, but I anticipate they’ll both return in time. Thank you to those people who emailed me tips on how to speed up the recovery process with that. You guys and gals are great! โค

๐Ÿคผโ€โ™‚๏ธ The high school wrestling season has begun. I know I always mention my glory days of playing football, but I also wrestled, I was good too. That’s me on the right wrestling in the county tournament, winter of 1997. The Beast of the East tournament at the University of Delaware turned out to be a huge success, as it usually does, and the Gauntlet Duels were successful as well. Congratulations to all the place winners at the BOTE, if you can place there, you’re on your way to a good season.

๐Ÿ˜ฒ I’m shocked. I don’t know if you guys watch Bob’s Burgers the adult cartoon? Well apparently, the guy who does the voice over for Jimmy Pesto, Jay Johnston, will no longer be able to participate in the show because of his participation at the Capital on January 6th. Is the government saying he cannot work? This is strange, the original article was published on Decider-the link is below.

๐ŸŽ‹Yesterday, December 21st, was the Yule Sabbat. Different traditions celebrate the beginning of the new year at different times and in different ways. The arrival of the Oak King, or today it’s, The Sun King, Jesus, and the New Year’s Baby that kicks of the turning of the wheel as we say goodbye to Father Time and the Dark Lord. December 21st is also the first day of winter or the Winter Solstice. Either way, have fun celebrating whatever you celebrate. Enjoy yourself, and appreciate the love, family, and warmth around you.

There are a lot of people who can explain this better than I can, but..I heard, astronomically speaking, not astrology, that the sun as we know, rotates around the earth. It eventually reaches a point where it sits below or just about even with the horizon for a period of three days. That’s 3 days and no movement. Then, it begins again. They say the story about Jesus dying on the cross and rising from the dead in three days is a symbolic translation of the sun in it’s orbit around the earth. If you understand that whole thing better, write in. Thanks.

Have a wonderful Wednesday (Hump Day) LOL.

Lunatic; What’s that Guy’s Problem?

Lunatic, the first chapter in my book, Smorgasbord A Collection of Thoughts Experiences and Stories had created quite a stir, and to be honest, I ignored all of it until now.

I didn’t feel pressured to revisit this piece, or like I owed anyone an explanation, but its been about a year now since the book hit the shelves, and I thought my readers would appreciate this.

Chapter 1

“I hate you! I’m so fucking angry, and I’ll kill you! I’ll kill you right now!” I looked at myself in the mirror, and that’s what I said before leaving the house. That was my pep talk. I don’t know what went wrong or what’s wrong with me; I just know that I go through these moments where I feel like I hate everyone and everything, and when I get this way, I have to do something crazy to ease the tension. Here I go.

The above paragraph is the first paragraph of Lunatic. This is a short story about a serial killer. If he isn’t speaking to himself then he’s thinking-so most of the story are his thoughts. It was my intent to open with something completely unexpected and shocking, and it was. I wanted my readers to say themselves, man this guy is crazy-on a deep level.

And I don’t know if anyone picked up on it but, the killer only killed on nights when there was a full moon. Another name for the moon is Luna (in Latin), hence the name, Lunatic.

If you haven’t purchased the book yet, you don’t know what you’re missing. There are 24 chapters over 133 pages, and honestly, the title is probably a perfect way to explain what it’s about. A smorgasbord is like a buffet of different foods-so it’s a play on words. It’s a smorgasbord of creative work-it’s a collection of thoughts, experiences, and stories.

Visit Barnes & Noble or Amazon dot com, and pick up your paperback today!

๐ŸŒ™I had to laugh to myself as I left my house early in the morning on the 2nd and 3rd day of this month because the crest moon was turned in a way that it looked like a smile. I do interpret that as the heavens smiling down in agreement with what I’m doing and studying at the current moment.

๐Ÿ“–I wanted to thank everyone again who came to my book signing at Barnes & Noble and purchased a book. Your support means everything to me. Smorgasbord 2 Catch Up and Relish is my second book, and obviously, the sequel to Smorgasbord A Collection of Thoughts Experiences and Stories.

Smorgasbord 2 is going through the publication process right now, and I’d say we’re about half way through the editing portion. I should have a release date soon, but an optimistic guess would be January 2022?!

โ™ŽThe sun entered the zodiac sign of Libra on September 23rd, and it will remain there until the 23rd of October. The symbol representing Libra is the scale, meaning balance, justice, equilibrium, and order. Libra is ruled by the planet Venus, the goddess of love and beauty. Lucky numbers for Libras are 6 and 9, and Friday is their lucky day!

๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ“ฃComing up this weekend on Saturday the 9th, is the William Paterson University homecoming! William Paterson is my alma mater. As part of the festivities, The William Paterson Pioneers football team will host Christopher Newport University. Kickoff is at 1:00 PM at Wightman Stadium. Currently, the Pioneers are 2-3 overall with wins over Maritime College and Keystone College.

๐ŸˆIn the NFL yesterday, the Pittsburgh Steelers lost to the Green Bay Packers 27-17. The Chiefs beat the Eagles 42-30, and the Giants beat the Saints in overtime 27-21. Tonight’s Monday Night Football game is between the 3-0 Las Vegas Raiders and the 2-1 Los Angeles Chargers. You can expect this game to be emotional and exciting as the Raiders go back to Los Angeles to play. Kickoff is at 8:15 PM.

Nooz Now

What’s going on my friends? Welcome.

The date today is Tuesday, September 7, 2021-happy birthday to all my Virgo friends! It seems like the sun was in and out of Leo within the blink of an eye, and I have mixed emotions about that.

โ™-If you’re an Aquarius and you follow astrology, then you know Leo and Aquarius are stuck in opposition. But, relax-sometimes people see the word stuck and they think bad, but it’s not such a bad thing. I have a 7th house Aquarius sun with Leo rising in the 1st. They say your birth chart is ruled by the planet that rules the sign on your ascendant; since the sun rules Leo, my chart is ruled by the sun. Directly across the way is the descendent, and that’s where Aquarius is housing my birth sun.

When the sun is in Leo, it enlivens those lion-like qualities, and it’s my job to bring the qualities of Leo and the qualities of Aquarius into harmony since those signs are in opposition. In addition, I love the summer, so it’s a fun time all the way around. I don’t know why, but I find it fascinating that the sun rules Leo and the moon rules Cancer. Yup, Cancer and Leo house our luminaries.

What signs do you have on the horizon?

๐Ÿ“˜๐Ÿ“–โœ-This Saturday, September 11, I will be at the Barnes and Noble at the Lehigh Valley Mall between the hours of 1 pm and 3pm for my book signing. The address is 801 Lehigh Lifestyle Center, Whitehall, PA 18052. I’m excited-this is my first book signing, and I can’t wait to see you all there.

๐ŸˆNCAA- I wanted to give a shout out to Coach Longo (North Carolina Tar Heels). Coach Longo used to coach at the high school in the town I was born in, and then he coached at William Paterson University when I played there. We lost contact over the years, and the next time I saw him he was on the North Carolina sideline. I was home watching North Carolina play Clemson, and there he was. Congratulations Coach! Ohio State has another big game this weekend (Saturday) against Oregon. Both teams won their openers.

๐Ÿ˜ฎ-Apparently there’s a radio station that tells people how they can save the world! Metro published a story written by Jessica Kwong, about a guy who was being pursued by police. During the chase, Tyson Gilbert, a 39-year-old man from Tennessee, cut his penis off and threw it at the cops who were chasing him. Later he said the radio influenced his actions and convinced him he could save the world by doing so. Lets hope his attempt was not in vein.

๐Ÿ‘ฆ๐Ÿ‘ง-Compartmentalization is the enemy of progression. I know it’s normal for teenage boys and girls to hang out in their bedrooms with the doors closed. I did it, we all did it, and I don’t know-it’s like all of a sudden we had this need for privacy and 5-hour phone calls. Once in while, open your doors and let your parents see what’s going on. Talk to them. Don’t stunt your families growth by becoming a hermit. Pimple face.

โ˜€-On Wednesday, September 22, the sun enters Libra for the first day of fall. Our fall season will last for 105 days. The first day of winter this year is December 21st.

Okay everyone; have a wonderful night and a blessed day tomorrow. I hope to see you all this Saturday at Barnes and Noble.

P.S. I don’t want to say who it is because it might not happen, but I’m waiting for someone in the world of college football to get back to me to do a short interview. I’ll keep you abreast and a thigh of that situation.

I forgot who this was, but he must’ve pissed me off because this picture was sitting in my file for a while now.

Lunatic 2 The Dark Side (Teaser)

Followers, fans, and readers, I love and appreciate all of you.

And now, a little teaser.

“Either way, the odds are stacked against me, so I figured this would be a great time to talk to you. I watch the news, I read the newspapers, and I listen to the radio. I listen to people talking about me in public. No one has any idea that I’m the lunatic. Thank God, no one turned in my direction to ask for an opinion. I don’t even know what I would say. I mean, would I be able to sit there and talk to someone about me? I don’t know, but here’s the thing. People want to know what happened to me. Yes, there’s another phase to this. All kinds of professionals and doctors are meeting to discuss me and my psychological condition. They have questions of their own.”

That was a snippet from Lunatic 2 The Dark Side, a chapter in my new book.

Lunatic 2 is short story fiction, and you can read the entire chapter, including the first part, Lunatic in Smorgasbord A Collection of Thoughts Experiences and Stories.

If you would like to purchase a copy, you can visit your local Barnes & Noble, or click on the link below for more information.

Have a wonderful night and a blessed day tomorrow.

Hey Ya! How is everyone doing? Did you have a chance yet to click on the merchandise link and pick up a t-shirt or coffee mug? Every item in our store is quality, believe me. And for that, I would like to thank the crew at Stitch ‘In’ Witch Embroidery.

Let’s get into our Nooz…

๐Ÿ‘ฝ Some how, some way little green men and aliens in general have become one in the same with their association to UFO’s. But let this serve as a reminder, an unidentified flying object can be anything and not necessarily of alien origin. If a person sees something flying in the sky, and he or she doesn’t know what it is, it’s a UFO. If it displays capabilities beyond our comprehension, then it could be technologically advanced thus, making it alien and not of this earth.

๐Ÿ’‰ When you get vaccinated to protect yourself against a certain virus, the vaccine prevents you from getting that virus. Every once in while you’ll come across an online story about how someone who was fully vaccinated against the coronavirus died from the coronavirus when they came into contact with someone unvaccinated. If that were true than what’s the point of getting vaccinated? That doesn’t make any sense to me and furthers my belief that our government’s socialistic medical system is forcing everyone to get injections.

๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ Former Minneapolis police offer, Derek Chauvin was sentenced to 22.5 years for the murder of George Floyd.

๐Ÿ“– My new book, Smorgasbord A Collection of Thoughts Experiences and Stories is on the shelf now in three different Barnes & Noble stores in Pennsylvania; Philly, WIlkes-Barre, and the Lehigh Valley Mall. You can still purchase the paperback and e-book versions on the internet.

๐Ÿ“˜ The sequel, Smorgasbord 2 Catch Up & Relish is in publication!

๐Ÿš Columbia’s President, Ivan Duque, vowed to continue fighting organized crime, drug trafficking, and terrorism is his country despite the attack on his helicopter.

โ˜€ June 21st was the first day of Summer. You should purchase and burn a blue candle.

๐Ÿ’ฅ In nine more days it will be the 4th of July, aka Independence day. Independence Day is America’s day of celebration for breaking free from British rule and declaring independence. Remember, America is about the little guy, it’s about the individual having the right to seek life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Not you giving in and giving up as you surrender your quality of life for the betterment of the collective.

Okay everyone, have a wonderful night and a blessed day tomorrow.
