It’s a Journey and We’re Both Going

I was thinking about this the other day, and really, it’s because of where I’m at in the Smorgasbord series. Wait? What? 🤣 I know what you’re thinking. When did Smorgasbord become a series?

Most of you who follow along with this blog know I wrote my first book during the spring of 2020, which was then published and available for purchase in I think March of 2021. Well, as soon as I finished writing A Collection of Thoughts Experiences and Stories, I wrote the sequel, Smorgasbord 2 Catch Up and Relish.

Smorgasbord 2 is going through the publication process as we speak, and we could be looking at a finished product available for purchase within a month or two. I will have a release date for you, something I never got for the first book, and I should have that soon.

As I’m sitting here now writing Smorgasbord 3, I started thinking about all three as a series. I don’t want to give to much away, but you’ll understand what I’m talking about when you pick up the second book. What I will say is that I’ve written them so that if I ever decided to create one big book they would all fit together.

Smorgasbord has sections I, II, and III. Smorgasbord 2 has sections IV, V, VI, and Smorgasbord 3 will have VII, VIII, and IX. I don’t like to talk about myself or my work, I leave the reviews and the analysis to all of you, and part of the reason for that is because I think everyone who reads my work will get something personal out of it, and I don’t want to persuade or compromise that in any way.

But from what I can see, Smorgasbord is becoming a series or a collection, and by the time you read the third book, you’ll notice the journey.

It’s a journey we’ll have been on together for probably three or four years by that time as we continue making sense of our lives and the world around us.

Revisiting A Past Post

A while ago I wrote a post about asking where and how all this is going to end (COVID masks and vaccines). I asked, what are you going to do, round everyone up who refused the vaccine and put them into some kind of prison camp? They’re trying. These people are sick. Did you see the picture of the teacher who duct taped the mask to her students face? She should be put in a mental hospital, but was she? Nope. And she had a job to go back to. Control freaks. Imagine if that was your child?

I’m a COVID survivor. I’m still here. Is it that serious? Nah. I wore the mask everyday and still got sick. 98% of everyone vaccinated still got sick.

Uranus Transit

As you know, I’ve been reading Barbara Hand Clow’s book, Chiron Rainbow Bridge Between the Inner and Outer Planets, and in the book, Clow talks about three major transits that occur during our lives; the Chiron square, the Saturn return, and the Uranus opposition to itself. I do agree with that.

These are the times when it’s crucial to put in the self-work. My Uranus opposition to itself is coming up so I’m going to break that down, and hopefully, by me doing that, it will make it easier for you to do the same if you happen to be in the same situation. Let me start by explaining what the hell this all means, because I know there are a lot of people who are interested in astrology and would like to follow it, but find it difficult to learn on their own.

My interest for astrology came out of nowhere back in 2007, but I can’t sit here and say I’ve been feverishly studying it since. It’s been more of a side thing or a hobby that I study, practice, and put to use in my spare time. The more you live the more you understand so it’s best to take astrology in stride-not to mention the system is so vast in information that it can be overwhelming and confusing. Take your time with it.

In my natal chart, Uranus is in the 5th house on the 25th degree of Scorpio. An opposition is when you have two planets directly across from one another; an opposition is an aspect of 180 degrees. The Uranus opposition occurs around the age of 42, but it could be later because Uranus goes retrograde and that slows the transit or it’s path around the zodiac. When it finally reaches opposition to itself, it will be directly across from where it was when you were born, or its position in your birth chart. For me, that’s Taurus 25 degrees just past the 11th house cusp.

Uranus in Taurus Analysis

Taurus is the sign of people who revel in the pleasures of life. It’s about security, comfort, and the warmth of relaxing in the home environment. It’s care. The flip side to this is that Taurus can be bullish, willful and stubborn, but not because they’re assholes. The issue is that Taurus is kind, devoted, and loyal-sometimes it hard to let things go.

Uranus is the planet of invention, rebellion, reformation, and unpredictable changes. It’s about discovery, independence, and improv. Uranus brings liberation, genius, science, originality, and breakthroughs.

As Uranus transits the fixed, feminine, and negatively energized earth sign that is Taurus, he will shake it up-house included. He will wake it up with sudden awareness and lighting insight so that the necessary changes can be made. Changes that ultimately promote growth and evolution.

Good luck!

What’s up everyone!

Listen to this shit. Between 1966 and 2003, there was a sports doctor who worked at the University Michigan, Robert Anderson was his name. During that 37-year-period, he was accused of sexually assaulting 1,050 students during routine checkups. The University of Michigan has agreed to payout $490 million to over a 1,000 people who’ve claimed they were assault victims. That’s a lot of people! A lot of money too! Check out the story below.

So, today is the 19th of January. How is 2022 treating you so far? How are you treating yourself? Would you like a tip on how you can become a better person? Take responsibility for your actions and decisions.

Sometimes people like to use other people to justify why they do what they do. You know, like, “I couldn’t go to work today because the guy on my block is really depressed and needed someone to talk to,” and then we find out there’s nothing wrong with the guy on your block; you’re just lost and can’t figure out your own life. Don’t do that to people.

Anyways..

I must admit, it felt pretty darn good to be able to deliver you that breaking story about the gas station shooting. I graduated college in 2003, that almost 20 years ago, and my degree is a B.A. A Bachelor of Arts in Arts & Communication and Journalism. I’m a natural writer, and the work of a journalist is a perfect fit for my skill set, however, I never pursued a career in journalism.

When I passed that crime scene the other day, I new I couldn’t let the opportunity pass. If it wasn’t for an appointment I had at 9 o’clock, I would’ve stopped on the spot to cover it. So I went to the appointment, which lasted 20 minutes, and then I drove back.

I guess the exciting part was having an opportunity to put my training to use. Finally, after 20 years I felt like my college education was paying off. And to just go through the process of covering a story from being on scene, obtaining information, and writing it was fulfilling. That’s the word I used to describe that experience, fulfilling.

Have a wonderful evening and a blessed day tomorrow.

To those of us in the U.S., good morning! Good afternoon if you’re in Egypt!

😲The investigation begins into former President of the Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, as he landed in Kyiv to face the charges of treason. Allegedly, Poroshenko used the funds from illegal coal sales to finance Russian-backed separatist fighters. Poroshenko has basically shitted on investigators by refusing procedural and legal documents. Some say the timing of this case is a distraction and just plain bad, because Ukraine is pleading to the West for help as they anticipate an attack from Russia. President Zelenskiy has his hands full, but according to Poroshenko, the current President is no angle either. Zelenskiy says Poroshenko thinks he’s above the law, while Poroshenko accuses Zelenskiy of trying silence political opposition back in 2014-2015.

Dirty politics!

🌋I don’t know if you’ve heard, but there was an underwater volcano eruption near Tonga, which caused Hawaii, the Western Coast of the U.S. and several other island locations to be placed under tsunami advisory. In the aftermath, Tonga now begins their assessment on the cost of damages.

✡Congregation Beth Israel, a synagogue in Texas was the site of a hostage situation. There was a 10-hour standoff with an FBI Swat team before the last of the hostages ran out of the building Saturday night. 44-year-old British National, Malik Faisal Akram was the hostage taker who was killed and later identified by U.S. authorities, but the investigation deepened as the trail led to the United Kingdom. Police in Manchester arrested two teenagers in relation to the incident, but neither has been charged. President Biden has called this an act of terrorism.

Strange. Why would two teenagers from the U.K. and a British National attack people in a Jewish synagogue in Texas?

On a brighter note..

🏈The first week of the NFL Playoffs is almost complete with one game remaining tonight. On Saturday, Buffalo beat New England 47-17 and the Bengals beat the Raiders 26-19. On Sunday, the 49ers were victorious over the Cowboys 23-17, Tampa Bay defeated Philadelphia 31-15, and Kansas City blew out Pittsburgh 42-21. Tonight at 8:15 PM it’s the Rams and Cardinals.

I’m snowed in here, so I will have a relaxing day, and you do the same!

2 Faces; Skull & Weird Baby

Yesterday, I was scrolling google maps, and I was way out over the Pacific Ocean when I first noticed what looked like an eye socket.

When I zoomed in I could see the skull features showing through the oceans depths. It’s really freaky, but it got even freakier when I turned the screen sideways and saw a second face.

The second face looks like a distorted baby smiling.

Write in let’s talk about this.

Hello

Good Morning.

That shooting yesterday at the Sunoco 7 Eleven was the second gas station/convenient store shooting in Lehigh County in less than a year. The other ended up becoming a murder-suicide at the Rt. 100 Wawa in Breinigsville nine months ago.

Be careful.

It’s a Saturday morning, and this is kind of like a freestyle post me. Sometimes rappers freestyle, and you can do it as a writer to. Even if you have no material in mind-just start writing.

Poetry-A Freestyle Session

No rush,

No worry,

There’s not a reason for either.

Your path is waiting Keeper.

Nature is your teacher.

No doubt,

No fear,

It shall all become clear.

Evolutionary leap,

it seems out of reach,

but it’s not.

Stop and think on this,

It’s a decision,

That’s all it is.

Enjoy your Saturday everyone.

✈Ed Bastian, the CEO of Delta Airlines, said 8,000 employees just tested positive for COVID.

“Really? That’s unbelievable considering how strict Delta was with employees when it came to following COVID safety procedures. I guess the vaccines aren’t as effective as Ed thought. Wasn’t Delta one of those companies who publicly took the arrogant approach, NO JAB NO JOB?”

🚷💉Some people are starting to complain and criticize China’s “Zero COVID” Policy. They’re saying it’s harsh and extreme. The Chinese government is locking down and shutting down entire cities, while bringing back those old camps we sometimes joke about. That’s right, Fox News just reported the Chinese government is forcing their citizens into COVID Quarantine Camps for 14 days. Yes, they’re hell bent on hosting the Olympic Games.

🤧🤒😷How about this? Online publication, The Epoch Times, just published a story breaking in Australia. The COVID outbreak is hitting the vaccinated population harder than the unvaccinated. Right now, for the first time, the number of vaccinated patients in the hospital from COVID is higher than those who’ve not been vaccinated.

⬜I just read Barbara Hand Clow’s interpretation of the square aspect in our birth charts. She said, “Squares are your friend. They’re like vortexes of energy in our lives. Entering the vortex is the Chiron Gate. It’s the point in time and place where self exists, and where we’re forced to relate to our whole environment.” The square is a 90 degree aspect. I also learned in the same book, the sextile, a 60 degree aspect, is the most perfectly balanced aspect.
