For the life of me, I just don’t understand why it’s so hard to break into the field of journalism. Why is it so hard to find a job with a local newspaper or a magazine you have a sincere interest in?
Am I doing something wrong? Do I need a M.A.?
I graduated college in 2003, that’s almost twenty years ago, and I still haven’t found a career job in journalism.
I’ve been forced to work on my writing when I have the time and pursue my passions on the side, but I don’t want to do that anymore.
I have a B.A. specialized in communication/journalism, and I’ve authored two books now. I don’t want to keep changing jobs, but I do because I’m forced to pursue work in fields that aren’t in alignment with my personal abilities and educational training.
Despite the gloomy day we just had, there’s much to celebrate today as it’s officially Spring.
Back in the day-like way back when armies had to break through fortifications to breech a castle’s grounds, they used battering rams, and if you ever saw a picture of a batter ram from the medieval era, you’ll notice the side they rammed with was shaped like a rams head-hence the name.
The mainstream astrological wheel starts a new cycle today also. The Spring Equinox, not only marks the first day of Spring, but also the sun’s entrance into the astrological sign of Aries. If you look at a chart for today, you’ll notice the sun sitting on the 0 degree, or cusp of Aries.
It’s easy to get confused at this point because Aries looks like April, and both we associate both with the Spring. The first day of Spring is not April 1st, and the beginning of Aries isn’t the beginning of April.
For everyone born on April 1st, your sun is on the 12th degree of Aries. Aries begins today in March on the 20th. So, yes, the sun will remain in Aries until the middle of April, I think the 19th to be exact.
And don’t forget, we just had a full moon on the 19th.
So that means we have the first day of Spring today as the moon wanes down bringing closure to all of our plans that took root at the beginning of March. And then we begin April, a brand-new month with a brand-new moon in Aries!
I have a book in my possession called, Sun Signs & Past Lives: Your Souls Evolutionary Path. It was written by Bernie Ashman.
In this book, Bernie gives a thorough analysis of past life issues and the solutions for solving them in this current life. He does this by dividing each zodiac sign into 3 separate zones, each with their own unique ruler and current life theme.
For example:
Aries
First Zone: Those born between 3/21-3/30
Element: Fire
First Zone Sign Ruler: Aries
First Zone Energy Field: Cardinal
First Zone Signs: Aries + Aries=Bold Action
Second Zone: Those born between 3/31-4/9
Element: Fire
Second Zone Sign Ruler: Leo
Second Zone Energy Field: Fixed
Second Zone Signs: Aries + Leo = Creative Passion
Third Zone: Those born between 4/10-4/19
Element: Fire
Third Zone Sign Ruler: Sagittarius
Third Zone Energy Field: Mutable
Third Zone Signs: Aries + Sagittarius = Variety is the spice of life
Discovery of Correlation
Most people don’t believe in reincarnation or past lives, and even the people who do might be skeptical about the information in this book, and that’s totally understandable.
But..
While I was reading a section of this book to learn more about someone’s past life, and at the same time, looking at their birth chart, I noticed that this person’s current life placements (Planets in the birth chart) are totally complimentary and aligned so that this person could conquer and overcome those past life issues.
In other words, the birth chart proved the information in the book! Their placements compensated for past life weaknesses, and they were given the gifts to ensure success in this lifetime!
The Moon 🌔: when it’s full, it’s lit in totality. Think about the meaning of that in relation to its complete cycle as it wanes and waxes. If the Moon’s cycle begins when it’s dark, unseen, or new, then it reaches culmination when it’s full.
If you’re a Moon watcher, meaning, you plan in accordance with its cycles, then you know that whatever you started when the Moon was new, should now be coming to fruition. The life cycle, and the cycles of nature itself are represented in the Moon if you think in terms of “the microcosm. “
When people are using astrology, and they want to know what the meaning of the Moon in Virgo is, for example, or any sign for that matter, most forget about the Moon itself. It’s important to understand the Moon and how it works astronomically, mythologically, and in terms of cycles and time.
Tonight, I’m sitting outside looking at the Moon. It’s at 98%. On Friday, March 18th, the Moon will be 100% full in the astrological sign of Libra, but right now, it’s in Virgo. John F. Kennedy’s Moon was in Virgo, as was Shirley MacLaine, Katherine Hepburn, Andrew Carnegie, and Winston Churchill.
Moon in Virgo
Virgo is the sign of intelligence, and the virgin doesn’t look at the world through rose colored glasses. She not negative, but more of a realist looking at the world as it truly is. Virgos love to communicate and discuss ideas and the opinions of others. When the Moon is in Virgo, the native becomes a seeker of truth. Professional, perfection, and methodical are words that describe the Virgo-Moon native.
Virgo rules the 6th house, and so, the 6th house is where (area of your life) the energies of the Moon will manifest through the astrological sign of Virgo. The 6th house is known as the house of service, but health is also represented strongly here.
The twist, is that Virgo, at this moment isn’t home. She’s in the 11th house of hopes, wishes, and most importantly, friendships. The Moon, almost full at 98%, is shining a light on the friends we have. Use that penetrating Virgo mind to be meticulous and probe into the truths surrounding a current friendship. Is this person right for you?
The place I work for finally woke up and made it optional for wearing masks, and I must say, the entire building had a completely different feel to it. Over the last two years, a countless amount of articles have been published dealing with the psychological complications of wearing masks all day, and they were either ignored, or agreed with and then ignored.
But please, let me share this with you. People were definitely happier and in a much better mood without it, and there was an overall sense of closeness. Of course, for a little while you had do a double check to make sure the person you were talking to was the one wearing the mask all this time, but there was so much to laugh about and see afterwards.
It seems like a small area when you consider how much the mask actually covered, but just seeing someone eyes created this unexplainable distance, and frankly, disregard. The mask was, and some people might not agree with this, but dehumanizing. The removal of the mask restored the care and sensitivity needed to bring a distant workforce together.
No more hiding, no more making faces at people, and no more mumbling under your breadth. We can see one another now, and this is the way it always should’ve been.
The mask was unsanitary, dirty, kept us breathing in our own exhalents (poisonous), and in the end, it didn’t even prevent us from getting sick. But we all new it wouldn’t, some people just needed the comfort.
In the beginning, the mask was suggested as a way to stop the spread of the virus if you were sick. It even came out in the Dr. Anthony Fauci emails thanks to the Freedom of Information Act, that no mask could prevent us from getting sick, but that was another thing some people chose to ignore.
Healthy people weren’t supposed to wearing masks all day, and I mentioned the reason why that happened. Once people realized and saw how hard the pushback was against wearing the mask, they forced it just for the laughter and short term pleasure it provided.
Yes, people actually rode that wave of satisfaction that came from forcing someone to do something they didn’t want to do. Terrible. And there really was no government responsible. We did it to ourselves. We forced each other. We allowed the pandemic to cause division amongst us, and the really scummy people used it for a serious overreach into other people’s lives and privacy. Terrible.
I don’t know if that can ever be repaired. Because really, the issue is twofold;
It’s unsettling to know that at least half of the people in this country will roll over and do as they’re told without investigating and looking for the truth, but it’s even more unsettling that those people out of fear, will burn up and force the people around them to follow.
Putting your head down and going to work is how we got into this mess, and to make it even worse you have the nerve to talk shit and mock the people who take time out of their busy schedules to protest. You call them rebellious and ignorant. Terrible. Shame on you coward.
In her book, The Chiron Effect, Lisa Tahir uses the keyword “Neglect” to describe the cause or source of Core Wounding for the placement of Chiron in Taurus.
Chiron spent 6 years in Taurus from April 1927-May 1933, and then again for 7 years from June 1976-June 1983.
I think Neglect is the perfect word especially for the children growing during that 1927 to 1933 period. On a socially conscious level, consider the children growing up in the United States during the collapse of the Stock Market and the great depression. I’m sure most of those childrens’ parents were completely preoccupied and consumed with the loss of their jobs, loss of income, loss of homes, and a loss of life. Their sense of security was no more. Not that parents neglected their children on purpose, but that’s what indirectly occurred due to life’s unforeseen circumstances.
Take the life of Anne Frank into consideration and the other children growing up in Nazi Germany during the reign of Hitler. Families being ripped from their homes and separated must’ve made impossible for parent’s to give their children the kind of attention they needed.
I’m a Chiron on Taurus individual, and I’ve been working on that placement for about a year or so now. Take a look at your birth chart and see where your Chiron is placed.
On the coordinate plane, is a blue inverted triangle, representing water and its gift of intuition.
Inverted Triangle
At the top, on the left point it says Isis. Isis is the ancient Egyptian Goddess. At the top right point it says Isus, and it sounds just like Isis.
At the bottom point it says Jesus, to represent the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The first two letters in Jesus, “Je,” is French, but its translation into the English language is “I”. So, if you spell Jesus with the English translation, it spells “Isus,” it sounds like Isis, but it means Jesus.
There are different offerings from prayers to different Gods. Jesus, being complete, and a perfect transfusion of man and woman, 6 and 9, yin and yang, red and blue, has his identity hidden within the ancient Egyptian Goddess, Isis.
If you say Isus, people will either think you’re talking about the Egyptian Goddess, or thanks to modern culture, some terrorist organization, but you could in fact, be referring to Jesus Christ.
The significance of this is something I’ve come to learn through my own spiritual journey. When the identity of Jesus was hidden in Isis, so were the keys to obtaining intuition and the gift of prophecy.
Take a look at the feature image of the hourglass. Notice, as the sand slips through the x-point, it piles up on the lower level. On the lower level, as it piles, it forms the shape of a pyramid. There are three Egyptian Pyramids, roughly covered in sand, and one bigger than the last. I believe the pyramids represent time in a unique way.
Pyramids of Time
Now, take a look at my drawing of the Egyptian Pyramids, and notice the numbers around each them. According to numerology, 11, 22, and 33 are Master numbers.
Taking this a step further, there are some critics of time who say we live the past, the present, and future all at once; the past is what we just did a second ago, the future we haven’t gotten to yet or it’s what’s to come, and the now is the current moment.
I look at it this way, once you turn two you enter into the pyramids of time. Initially, you begin at the age of two, you start out on the smallest pyramid as you can see, but once you get to age six, you occupy the first step on all three pyramids, living the past, present and future all at once.
The first major milestone you reach is at age 11. There should be a natural gain in knowledge, understanding, reason, and sense. You’ll feel it, you should actually feel more intelligent.
When you reach the second milestone at age 22, you are free from pyramidal structure and restrictions that come with being a human between the ages of two and twenty, however, you’re still connected to the future pyramid and the third milestone.
When you reach the age of twenty-two, there should be a natural gain of skill, ability and direction.
Take notice at what happens when you reach your third milestone at age 33. You are still living a good portion of your life on the second pyramid.
It’s not like the arrival to your second milestone, because when you reached age twenty-two, the first pyramid was over and done with.
33 is the most spiritually inclined number as it’s made up of 11 and 22. It’s love, understanding, and giving at their highest levels. Right after your 22nd birthday, the energy begins to build towards to 33. You will have your Saturn return at age 29, which can be extremely beneficial depending on the personal work you put in.
And then once you reach 33, you’ll remain at the top of third pyramid until all the sand slips through the hourglass, and the second pyramid reaches completion as you turn 40.
Once you reach 40, you’re in you’re power, still standing at the top having learned all the lessons and tied up all the loose ends. You’re decent begins when you reach the age of 42.
When you reach 42, you are fully in the last pyramid of time, and that’s right about the time of your Uranus opposition to itself. Every move you make from this point forward has to be calculated, and there must be something gained for your time, because as you can see, there’s no more to waste.
The climbing ends at age 60, with all level roads ahead.
The drawing of these pyramids is symbolic of many things. It shows how we live in the moment, with full control over the past, present, and future. It shows the overlapping of time and how we build towards our futures when we don’t even think we’re close to doing so. It runs perfectly with two major astrological transits we all go through.
Each Pyramid contains a 9-year period between steps. This is sacred in design.
Look it over and study it. I’m sure you’ll draw your own conclusions.
🏀NCAA-The Virginia Tech Hokies defeated the No. 2 Ranked Fighting Irish of Notre Dame in the ACC Tournament yesterday, 87-80.
🏈NCAA- Georgia’s QB, J.T. Daniels, is visiting Oregon State today. Daniels told sources he won’t make a final decision on transferring until the spring.
🏀NBA- Joel Embiid scored 27 points and had 12 rebounds, but that wasn’t enough as the 76ers lost by 29 to the Nets last night, 129-100. This was also the night marking the return of Ben Simmons.
🎬The Dutchess (2008)- This was a movie starring Keira Knightly, Ralph Fiennes, Haley Atwell, and (my personal favorite) Dominic Copper, who played Jesse Custer in the show Preacher. I just saw this the other night; it was excellent. You know movies are good when they draw a reaction out of you, and I must say, the marriage between the characters played by Knightly and Fiennes was a little infuriating. That’s all I’m saying; check it out!
📗-I just purchased a book yesterday, and the title isn’t really important. When I opened the inside cover and flipped to the Acknowledgements, this “author” gave thanks to someone who contributed knowledge and expertise to her book, an editor, a contributor, collaborator, another editor, and then someone who added detail. (I mean did she even write the book?) I don’t know, that seems like a lot of people.
Also, I wanted to share this. Someone questioned me about being an author recently, they thought writing a book should come later in life after a big accomplishment has been made. And I said to that person, those people who usually come out with books after a successful career in some area, are not writers. Someone writes those books for them. It’s different if your career is writing.
Case in point, if writing is your thing, write away! And a big major shout out to all the true creators out there who’ve found their creative outlet as a writer! Transferring thoughts to paper in a clear and concise way is not easy.
🔥✍Smorgasbord 2 Catch Up and Relish went into print yesterday, and I should be receiving my personal copies within four weeks. If it looks good, and I approve, it will be available for purchase a week from then, so even though I still haven’t received that expedited release date yet, I’m going to say sometime in April!
