Thank You Thank You

I promised.  I promised myself and my readers that I would give less attention and less of my time writing about negativity and experiences that upset me, but finally, finally, finally, finally, someone actually apologized.

The corner store near my house opens at 6am.  I got there at 5:45am and waited outside in the parking lot for the doors to open.

At 6am the lights go on, and the woman inside behind the counter walks towards the door to unlock it.  I’m at the door waiting to greet her.

When she opens she tells me there’s no money in the register, and the woman who is in charge of the cash is on her way.  In charge of the cash?  Really?

You just opened the door, but you don’t have any access to the cash that belongs in the register?

Anyway, I said okay and I returned to the parking lot to continue waiting patiently.  The lady who runs the cash register shows up about five after six, and finally they’re ready to serve me at about ten after.

With an attitude, she asks me what I want, and after I tell her, she rips open the glass doors that encase my item.  She pushed those glass doors so hard, I thought they were going to shatter.  Then she turns around and insults me for coming to the store so early.

If you’re a retail manager, and you run a convenient store, shouldn’t you want people at the door with money for purchases?  Yes.  Are you supposed to judge your customers after they purchase items in your store?  No.

Look, if you’re miserable and upset about something, you’re not supposed to take it out on your customers.  You should be thanking your customers for supporting your business.

You should be happy that people want to come to your store and see your face at six in the morning.

I’m going to leave it at that.  I can feel this post beginning to snowball out of control as I’m now thinking back to that morning.

I did want to mention though, this is the same store I left because the Manager was threatening me during meetings.  He would also blow me off and tell me I was lying when I expressed my concerns about things that were happening to me in the store during working hours.  I walked out.

Thank you for the apology.

Time To Be Frank, or whoever you really are.

Somewhere during the last twenty years, I lost myself,  I lost everything that made me, me.  I lost whatever made me Frank.

When you’re lost or lose yourself, you’re no longer a leader, therefore, you’re easily led.  If you don’t wake up, you drift further and further from your center because you’re being led astray.

In the absence of my shit, I’ve explored, I’ve experimented, and I’ve talked to people that otherwise, I wouldn’t have spoken to.  In the end, I became good.  Just good.  I immersed myself in studies and learned all about astrology, numerology, spirituality, meditation, and so on.  In doing so, I found something I was passionate about.

No more taking the wheel with the windows down on a hot summer night.  I traded in the Caddy for a station wagon  so-to-speak.  No more arrogance, no more outspokenness, no more Frank.  More listening, and less talking.

But… where has being good got me?  It’s gotten me ignored, it’s hard to find a job, and I haven’t had a romantic partner in seven years.  I bite my tongue now, and try my best to speak the truth.

People treat me differently because I’ve become a different person, but you see, there has to be a balance to this, and what I’m finding out is that people will shit, shit, and shit all over you as long as they feel like they can get away with it, and believe me, I’ve let people get away with some shit.  No more however, no more.

I’m not asking for anything anymore, because at this point, I almost don’t care.  If my life never turns out the way I thought, expected, or hoped,  than I guess it wasn’t meant to be, but…..

…..no matter how scared I may be, I will never be controlled by fear.

Table 7; The Truth

I would like to thank WordPress for sending us the happy anniversary card.  Today, September 23, 2019, is officially our one year anniversary since being on the internet.

When we started https://noozbuffet.com a year ago, I told you;

Nooz Buffet is information that’s relevant, progressive, and in sync year around as the seasons change and time moves forward.

and as fate would have it, our anniversary happens to coincide with the 2019 Fall Equinox.

Thank you, and stay tuned.  Another year of real truth is on the menu!

Wait A Second, Who Are You?

I’m not going to name names, but the person I’m speaking about has been in the news lately, and her “mission” is touching millions of people across our country.  She is a female, she is under the age of 18, and she seems to be be really concerned about global climate change.

If someone showed up at your doorstep and began ringing your doorbell, would you let them in?  Keep in mind, you don’t know this person, and you’ve never met them.  Well, I would hope not, but of course, our country has welcomed the minor with open arms.

The fact that she has sailed here across the ocean by herself in a solar powered row boat is really interesting.  Doesn’t she have school though?

It makes me wonder?  Is she running from someone or something?  Does she have a disease that could infect the entire American population?  Has she been exiled?  Who is she really?  Does she have a birth certificate?  (oh wait a minute, that’s why OBAMA fist bumped her, they have something in common.)

What’s her real name?  Is she a symbol of world peace?  Does she really care about the temperature of the planet?

If, and I’m saying if, she sailed across the ocean alone, that’s very brave of her, and I admire her for having “that get up and go” mentality, but to look at her, she doesn’t seem really passionate at all about the topic of which she speaks.  They say she’s swiss, but that’s only because she looks like the “Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate Girl” with her braids.  I think she’s German.  Something isn’t jiving.

That’s just my opinion.

Alright Everyone, Have A good Day!  Write in, and let me know what you think.

Sharing My Personal Affirmation; Once

9.21.2019

Positive Affirmation

I woke up happy, and I will remain happy.  I will release control because I cannot and will not control others.  I can, however, hope.  I hope people are caring, considerate, and respectful of others around them.

I release all negativity and negative people.  I want only happiness and positivity around me.

Have A Good Day Y’all!

Social Media

What’s going on Y’all?

I wanted to take a moment to weigh in on social media.  As you know, I’m the owner of noozbuffet.com, and I also have a Facebook page, and a Twitter account.  I communicate through all three outlets.  I’m not nor do I ever plan on hiding behind my screen.  I’m a writer at heart, but I have a passion for seeking facts, truth, and researching.

I’m here to help, and the best way I can do that is by sharing my personal experiences.  I post my real pictures, and my real name and information because I’m not hiding from anyone, and I’m not doing anything wrong.

Now, if you want to be stupid on Twitter or Facebook and send ignorant comments, pointless insults, and threats behind an account with no picture and a name like G232475648375, well, I’m just going to fucking block you.

In addition, all you really do is fire me up and motivate me to write more.  So in a way, I’d like to thank you before I block you.  Nooz Buffet has been up for just about a year and I have 50,000 words published.  Keep it coming.

Moving forward, you should not even be allowed to have a Twitter account or any other social media account without providing real legitimate information about yourself.  There would without a doubt, be a lot less scumbags and cowards on stage.

Thank you.

Alright Everyone Have A Good Evening

Prisoner To Your Past?

I cannot speak for everyone, but there are some who’ve made decisions in their past that cost them in their future.

The whole idea behind growing up, changing, and becoming a better person is based on those decisions and the life we used to live.  Some people decide early in their lives what they want, while others just kind of go with the flow without placing any importance on decisions or future plans.

Some people live their lives doing what they want and assume when it’s time for things to fall into place for them, it just will.

If you’ve recognized the mistakes you made and now commit yourself to making better choices, then you’re at peace with what you’ve done.  You’re moving forward knowing your future will be better because you’re making good choices today.

There are people who loved you and still do, and if those people were around you when you weren’t making the best decisions, than you’re choices probably affected them as well because they cared about you.

Not being at the top of your game and getting in trouble causes the people who care about you to stress and worry, but even they, at some point, must let it go.

It’s like you’re trying to move forward, but they’re holding you by the back of your shirt.  They stand firm and you run in place.  No one is making progress.  It’s not healthy.

Believe me, some people don’t believe in second chances, and nothing makes them more upset than seeing someone overcome.  You’re successful now, but all they can remember is how bad you were and how bad you made them feel.  You have to get away from these people.  If they can’t get over your past, then they’ll never let go of the back of your shirt.

They’ll always be the overcast on your sunny day.

But what if getting away from them is the ultimate rock bottom?  Bum status?

Well, you’ll be a free bum.  There’s nowhere else to go.

Our Very Own…..

The college football 2019 season is just about here, and I’m excited because……

here at Table Seven and Noozbuffet.com we have our very own College Football Playoff Ranking System.  This is extremely important because every year shit goes really good until conference championship week.

Eventually, we run into the issue of who should be playing who and who should be ranked where.  It becomes a huge mess and no one is ever really happy or confident when  the rankings come out.

Remember last season, UCF was undefeated but the polls were clearly favoring Notre Dame, and why the hell did Oklahoma State get to creep back in with 2 loses over the Buckeyes?

The noozbuffet.com College Football Top 8 Ranking System is flawless come crunch time.  We analyze, research, and in the end, were confident in how we pick the best matchups.

How the hell do we do it?  Well, that’s our secret.

Lucky To Be Alive

One evening in January, 2000, I was driving home.  I was twenty at the time, turning twenty-one in February, and I was driving my newly leased vehicle.  I loved that car, it was brand new at the time-a 2000 Chevy S10 pickup truck.  I wanted a pickup truck so bad.

Anyhow, there was an uphill road I was coming to, but in order for me to go up the hill I had to first crossover a lane of traffic going in the opposite direction.  Slowly, I crept forward, I looked left, and then looked right.  I crept forward some more and then stepped on the gas looking back to my left, but when I look back to the left again I saw lights.

I was sitting in the driver seat (well, what was left of it) with my head leaning forward against the steering wheel when I woke up to the sound of something loud.  It almost sounded like a lawnmower.  I asked the man who trying to pry me out of the car if I was dreaming.

“No, this is real life,” he said.

I had been t-boned by a drunk driver, driving on the revoke list.  He hit me in my driver side door at approximately 60 to 65 mph.  The sound I heard was “The Jaws of Life,” a saw used by paramedics in situations like mine where someone had to be cut out of their vehicle after a car accident.

My car was completely totaled, I mean absolutely crushed.  Immediately, I was taken to the hospital for treatment.

I left the hospital the next morning with no major injuries, just a very sore ankle and knee.  Later on that year, I played my third season of football at William Paterson University.

I’m lucky to be alive.  I’m lucky I wasn’t crippled.  I’m lucky I didn’t lose a limb, or end up brain dead.

I’m thankful for each and every day, and every morning I wake up, because I could’ve been dead before my 21st birthday.

If you’ve never had an experience where your life was in jeopardy, then let me share something with you.  Enjoy yourself.  If you’re not happy, get to a place where you can be.

There are no stupid ideas.  Whatever puts you in position to be the best person you can be, and living the best way you can, then do it.

Antarctica And The Ozone

I wasn’t going to write about this, but shit man, I’m excited.  I watched a documentary about Antarctica.  It was very long, and there was a lot of information covered.  Of course, those brave people who attempted to reach the plateau from the ice shelf (coastline) were recognized as well as those actually ended up making it all the way to the South Pole at 90 degrees.

Here’s the part that got my mind racing.  There were people down there, scientist I’m sure, and they were conducting experiments.  Accidentally, someone opened a hole in the ozone layer directly over the Pole, which is pretty much the center of the icy continent.

Normally, the South Pole is -100 degrees, and it doesn’t receive strong sunlight because of it’s location.  Antarctica is completely covered with ice and snow, and the waters around the continent are 2 miles of frozen depth.  I don’t think the hole that was opened was that a big, obviously,  but if it had been, we could’ve been in serious trouble.

This got me thinking about Noah and the flood.  What if, that’s what happened in biblical times.  It’s not far fetched.  The documentary said 70% of our planet’s fresh water is the frozen ice on and around Antarctica, and if it had melted, sea levels would rise 300 feet.

Now, if that were the case, Antarctica which is one of the only places on the globe we can’t really occupy and maintain a “normal” way of living because of the weather extremes, but would probably become the safe place to go.  Antarctica and some really high mountain tops.

What if in our attempt to explore space, and our never ending desire to know our place in this world, was almost our own demise?  What if we knew what were doing, and we knew what the outcome would be, but someone in biblical times went ahead and made that hole anyway, and melted the ice on and around Antarctica.  Maybe Noah built his Ark and sailed to Antarctica, and now it’s buried under the frozen ice.

What is really on that continent?

If you take Noah’s Arc out of Antarctica, you’re left with Attica!
