We Need It

0411191103_Film2

Love is important.  It’s important in many ways.  I was watching a television show called “Blood Drive,” it was about the state of the world and what was happening in the future, which took place in 1999.

A large corporation pretty much took control, and they were able to clone and robotize human beings.  This was just one small portion of the show, but there was a scene when a woman was very robot like and technical, and it was love, and love making that brought her back to her human form…for the most part.

It’s important to feel love, to know love, and to share love, and touch is a basic human need.  Touch is a sense.  We can show love and share love love in many ways.  I can give you a heart, a card, maybe write some type of love-themed poetry to you.  I can tell you I love you.

All of that is good, necessary, and perhaps, expected, but nothing can take the place of touch.  At some point, all humans will need hugs and kissing.  We all need romance and love making.

How are your surroundings?  What are the people like around you?  Are they serious?  Is everyone really tight, and technically speaking?  There’s obviously a connection between all of those symptoms, and the depiction of the robotized human, especially technically speaking, technology, and robots.  It amounts to serious and stiffness.

Show love.  Feel love.  Touch.  Romance.  It’s what makes us caring compassionate humans.

The Devil Is In the Details

0324191551_Film2     The truth, is that signs are all around us.  We may not know what they mean, but I can assure you throughout your life there has been a trial of signs following you.  You’re making your own life daily.  Everyday you wake up and carry on with your plans, you’re allowing it to unfold.  You’re creating opportunities and opening doors revealing more and more about the secret-unseen force guiding and supporting you.

The devil is in the details is an old saying many of us are familiar with, and it’s better to just remain familiar with it because in depth, it’s an entanglement.  In the end we may look back and think, wow, what have I been doing.  The problem arises when we stop to think about “the meaning of life and things.”

Please, don’t take that the wrong way.  I’m a spiritual person, and I’m walking my path everyday.  Reflection and contemplation are necessary, you just don’t want to get stuck in the awe of it all.

Sometimes, for those of us who are just waking up to this, it can be very very exciting.  We want dive in head first and immerse ourselves in research because essentially, we’re waking up to our creativity.  We’re understanding that maybe something special does exist.  Coincidences aren’t so coincidental anymore.  It’s okay to admire.  It’s okay to look around and see what dots you can connect because in all actuality that’s part of what the spiritual path is about.

There are companies that have fun with the symbolism, and some use it to mock and slam a joke on the public, but the good thing about symbolism is that the same sign or symbol won’t appeal to every person.  At least not in the same way.  Some people will look at that advertisement and see nothing more then a pack of cigarettes for $6.66.

Some people will look at that pack of cigarettes and think the price is bad because they’re connecting $6.66 to 666 and then to something cult like or evil and demonic.  Other people will look and laugh at it.

Some people might connect the Pyramid to the infamous All-Seeing-Eye and the back of the one dollar bill.  There really is an abundance of meaning in symbolism, and professionals or gurus on the subject say the idea or psychological reasoning behind symbols are to wake up the subconscious within us.

When I see 666 it reminds of The Omen, a movie that came out in I think 1980.  The main character, whose name was Damien, was a child branded with the number 666 on his scalp making him officially, the Devil.  Pyramids make me think of Egypt of course although there are many places besides Egypt that have pyramids.  My mind will make the connection between the Pyramids and Egypt and then to the Orion Star Belt, the Dollar Bill, etc.

In reality I’ve never been to Egypt, and although I’ve been known to act devilish at times, I am not the Devil.  For me personally those signs or symbols don’t have much meaning, they do however trigger a wide array of thoughts and stimulate creativity and imagination.

There is quite a connection between real living experience and symbolism, but the key is real living experience.  Live, and let the story unfold.

Seeing Love

There are so many occasions when I’ll be cleaning, working, walking, or just out and around when I notice these hearts.  It’s amazing how often, and what actually makes the shape.  The picture on the left is the wire to my headphones.  I tossed my headphones on a mattress, and the cord formed a heart.  On the right is a smudge of I don’t know what, and it’s been fermenting on my dresser for a while.

A few days ago I decided to use some Pledge wood cleaner on the dresser top and when I looked closely, I saw a crusty heart. lol  So funny.  A time of love I guess.  I’ll post and share the hearts as I see them.

What’s up you all?  How’s everyone doing?

How’s you’re exercise, fitness, and weight lifting routines?  I’m still going one day per week and getting in a good total body workout.  Of course I would like to go more, but I’ve been very busy.

One day per week is definitely better than no days per week because the reality is that we all have our grown up responsibilities to tend to.  I’m not going to lie though, I have been feeling a little guilty going only one day per week so I’ve added a day of running at the park.

There’s a beautiful park with a good cement track that’s close to my house.  It has a pond with ducks and some other cool stuff.  I figure a day of running and a day of lifting should do it for now.  I heard someone saying recently, the primary function of the brain is controlling movement in the body, so if you’re not moving then your brain isn’t working to its full and necessary potential.  Good point, right?

This Spring had been good so far.  I’m a single man, and there has been some amazing women out and about.  I see you.  The weather has been good too, but I’m not going to talk too much about that because I don’t want to jinx us for March.

Spring cleaning definitely got the best of me this year.  I took a weekend to clean out my surroundings, but I probably could’ve done it in a day.  I think I have a tendency to over due it sometimes, and that results in a waste of time.

This Thursday night April 11th at 6:30, WordPress is sponsoring an event in Allentown, which happens to be right where I live.  I RSVP’D today, and I think this is going to be a good chance to meet the talent residing behind the screens.  If you have nothing going on Thursday night come out to the Bridge Works Enterprise Center located at 905 Harrison Street in Allentown.

Our website is starting to get some new likes and traffic.  That’s awesome!  Thank you so much, and I humbly ask that you click on the follow button while you’re reading along.

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their week.  Tomorrow is hump day Wednesday…almost over.

Before I wrap this up, I wanted to tell you I think lemons are excellent for burning belly fat.  Whenever I go to the food store I’ll pick up a lemon and drop a few slices in my bottled water.  Try it, and let me know what you think.

I’m telling you, Table Seven is where it’s at.  We’re discussing evening activities and social gatherings, diet, and exercise.  It’s life, and we’re living it.

Have A Good Evening

Battle of the Books – Follow Up

I’ll admit, I was really nervous, but the night was fantastic.  I just recently became a member of GLVWG, Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group towards the end of last year.  They’ve had so many events and gatherings since, but they always seemed to be scheduled when I had work.  So tonight was the first chance I had to show up and participate.

I was one of two timekeepers, and my responsibility was to…. keep track of a time.  Each author had a series of categories that I guess you could say were parts or elements of a story.  Their stories.  They had three minutes to read from their books showing how they incorporated these elements in to their stories, and the audience voted.

It was fun.  I’m glad I went.

Hove ‘N’ Late

I hate you because you’re a bum, and you have a beautiful home.  I hate you because you’re poor, and you’re rich.  I hate you because you’re fat, and you’re skinny.  I hate you because you won, and you lost.

You think about me though so do you really hate me?  Hate is confusing, and it doesn’t make sense.

I love you because…

…..because you know none of that stuff matters.

Love isn’t confusing, it makes perfect sense.

I Don’t Usually……

04/05/2019

20190405_114119I’m not really a person that keeps up with fashion trends or styles, and I don’t usually notice what’s “IN” until it affects me in some way or I need something…

but listen to me.  LOL  Personalized coffee mugs are in right now.  That’s right.  You heard it here first.  LOL  Personalized coffee mugs.

Dichotomy – A Short Story of Good and Evil

Part 2 – I wanted to let my readers know that this short story is turning into a long one, and I think I’m just going to let it lead the way and see where it takes me.  Below is just a summary of Chapter 12, and I’m going to conclude here.  Thank you.

Chapter Twelve

Of course Gary was getting very upset when Maureen was explaining her situation with Guy.  Fortunately, Gary was really understanding because he knew certain powers and influences were just beyond their control.  The fact that Maureen claims she was paralyzed during the incident, well, it is possible.

Their conversation takes a slight turn as Maureen starts to shift a little blame on CCU for using their relationship, and more importantly, marriage, as a trap for catching evil time travelers.  She claims if their relationship hadn’t been used in such a way than maybe her and Guy would’ve never crossed paths.  Good point.

Either way, their vacation is coming to an end, and Gary will now take his position at Area 31, CCU headquarters.

Thank you for reading along.

Robot Writers

04/03/2019

What’s up you all?  How are you this evening?

I read a tweet today that said something about robots replacing journalist, and it just got me thinking about what I wrote in my post a few days ago.  I told you journalism is wide open.  I also told you what I write in my news now and commentary categories was real and up-to-date.

The point is, the only way robots could replace humans in any field is if humans are that dependent on machines to do their job.  If your local television news station decided to print the news and allow you the viewer to read it during the news hour, do you really need the reporter to tell you the news?  Probably not.

Do you need to watch the television news at night if you read the newspaper every morning?  Probably not.

Can a robot go to a job fair and interact with local businesses, and then write about it?  Probably not.

Journalism and news reporting in general is one career area that has benefited from the use of machines and computers, but humans were reporting the news way before machines, and they’ll continue to do so when technology breaks down.

    I wouldn’t worry about it.

For all my fellow Aquarians out there, when it comes to love and relationships our two most compatible signs are Leo and Sagittarius.  That’s really interesting because they’re both fire signs, and as you know we’re an air sign.  According to the elemental language of love, air and fire can be very compatible.  A lot of air may put a fire out, but a little air could fan the flames of love for a very long time.

Now that I think about it, I don’t know if I ever dated a Leo.
